"One Earth Kingdom silver coin for both of you, young couple~," The guy at the entrance of the haunted house said, stretching his palm out with a smirk.
Norrak shrugged before placing a silver coin into the guy's hand. The guy looked at the silver coin and examined it for a few seconds before nodding in satisfaction.
"In you go, because it's time to be spooked~," The guy said in a teasing tone as he opened the door ot Norrak and Katara. The inside was dark, with a few candles illuminating the way.
Norrak was the first to step into the hallway, and he smirked as Katara walked behind him. The silence was loud, with only the sound of the candles burning.
"Oooohhhh! I am a ghost~," Norrak and Katara stopped as a guy wearing a white blanket jumped out from behind the wall. After saying his words, the guys stood there, staring at Norrak and Katara.
"Wow, you sure are scary. Make sure to practice your lines some more," Norrak said with a smile, patting the guy on the shoulder as he walked past him. Katara chuckled, shaking her head.
"I thought this was going to be scary, but it's just people wearing some clothes trying to spook us," Katara said with raised eyebrows as she looked around in the darkness.
Suddenly, Norrak paused for a fraction of a second as he sensed a person's Chi behind him. She was quiet, not even making an audible noise, for the untrained ears at least.
She walked a meter behind him and Katara, and it was as if she was moving with Katara's rhythm, her footsteps the same length, and stepping at the same time.
"I mean for real? This is supposed to be scary- Ahhhh!!!" Katara twirled around in fear, a hand clamping down on her right shoulder. She came face-to-face with a demonic-looking head, and she jumped back.
Norrak chuckled, and he used his Six Eyes to look under the mask of the employee. To his surprise and confusion, he saw the face of Ty Lee under the mask, a grin on her face.
"Argh!" Ty Lee pretended to trip as Katara jumped back, her right foot pulling Ty Lee's own foot, which she had placed there so she would be tripped by Katara.
Ty Lee fell forward, and it just so happened that Norrak was right in front of her. She placed her hands on his chest, and her chest smashed into his as she stumbled forward.
Ty Lee looked up, pretending to be flustered as she created some distance. Norrak chuckled, a candle floating towards them and right next to his face.
"S-Sorry, I was- wow..." Ty Lee froze her words as the candlelight illuminated Norrak's face. His blue eyes locked with hers, and the white hair reflected the flames with a hint of yellow.
His sharp features were sharp, but not sharp enough to cut flawless Jade like a Chinese young master when he is being introduced by random people around.
In the world of Avatar, it's not like there are no handsome males. There are, as Zuko is a bit handsome when he actually has normal hair. But most of the time, they look average.
Like, even Sokka and Aang are not that handsome. But Norrak is different; he has Gojo's look, and Gojo is someone who could make a teacher drop her panties in a twist during their first meeting.
Basically, as of right now, Norrak is the rizzler.
"Are you okay? Sorry about this, though it was your fault for being that scary~" Norrak said while helping Katara from falling down. Katara breathed a sigh of relief, her chest pounding.
"That was actually scary, thank the spirits I didn't attack her," Katara muttered as she wiped her brow from the non-existent sweat beads that formed.
"Uh, yeah. I am okay... A-Are you okay? Did I scare you too bad?" Ty Lee came back to her senses, her lips quivering as she felt her cheeks turn a red colour, warmth invading her facial expressions under the mask.
'Oh god! I could melt in those two blue eyes! Wait a minute, is this why Azula is so obsessed with him? Don't tell me she likes him!' Ty Lee thought with a nervous chuckle, not noticing the look Katara was giving her.
"Uh huh... Are your eyes okay? It looks to be focusing a bit too hard on his face," Katara spoke up with an annoyed voice, and Ty Lee chuckled, rubbing her arm.
"Uh, yeah, well. See you both soon. I am going to my next job right now. The circus show is about to start, after all." Ty Lee said, and Norrak raised an eyebrow.
"Wait, you work at the circus as well? Are you going to perform there?" Katara asked with a raised eyebrow, and Ty Lee took her mask off, revealing her face and brown hair tied into a ponytail.
"Yeah! I am the performer. I just decided to do this because it looked interesting! Well, see you both, and bye-bye, handsome~," Ty Lee winked at Norrak before turning around and walking away.
"Handsome? Tch! Who the hell does this homewrecker think she is?" Katara muttered as she turned around to look at Norrak. Only to become even more annoyed at the smile on his face.
"What are you smiling at?! She was flirting right to your face, and you just took it like a good boy!" Katara said, sending a glare towards Norrak, who chuckled.d
"Katara, don't worry. She was teasing you. Besides, I have you already," Norraks aid with a smirk as he turned around to continue on the tour for the haunted house.
[5 Minutes.]
Katara and Norrak entered the circus, having finished their haunted house journey. They gave the ticket to the guy at the door, and once they entered, they were surprised to see that their chair was at the front.
"We got the front seats? I guess that's good," Katara said with a hint of surprise, and Norrak looked around with narrowed eyes. Seeing Ty Lee, and now having the front seat?
Something is fishy.
The two walked to their seats, and after sitting down, the circus show immediately began. As if everyone were waiting for them to be here to start.
"Ladies, gentlemen, and kids! Clap it up for our main performer for today's show! Ty Lee!!!" The announcer shouted, and from the top of the circus, Ty Lee jumped down, a rope attached to her hips.
She rolled, and when she was about to hit the ground at high speed, the crowd gasped. Only for Ty Lee to gain control and land on her feet, kicking up a cloud of dust.
"What is she doing?" Norrak questioned under his breath. Why would Ty Lee be in the Earth Kingdom, doing a circus show?
"Whatever, it's free entertainment," Norrak said with a shrug.
