Myron's POV
My mom told me to lay low. She said we should relax and let them get comfortable but it was hard. The mere thought of Cane and Stephanie in that house, all alone and happy made me mad and restless. It made me want to break something. I had to do something, anything.
So when mom went over, I followed her. I Didn't really have a plan. Maybe just let them see my car. Just to remind them that I was still here. But when I got there and saw them being all lovey dovey in the living room, it made me feel worse. They were standing really close and having a good laugh. I didn't know what was funny that made her laugh so much. I mean really laughing, the kind where she threw her head back. He reached out and touched her hair. Just a small touch, but it looked so... easy. So natural. I sat there in my car watching my wife - my ex-wife - look happier with him than she ever did with me. I drove off feeling sick.
