In Seo Jin's world.
The world blinked out.
Then back in.
But it wasn't the same.
Seo Jin's lungs burned as he opened his eyes again. The air tasted clean — too clean. His surroundings shimmered with faint light, like the city had been rewritten in glass.
Neon signs hung frozen mid-glow. The streets were still, buildings stretching into an endless blue sky that didn't move.
A glitching Seoul. Half-digital. Half-memory.
"…Where are we?" Seo Jin whispered.
Li Ran stood beside him, eyes reflecting the faint red of the skyline. "This isn't your world anymore."
The fox appeared as a flickering hologram near a streetlight. "You're inside the system's mirror copy — the Digital Reflection. It replicated your world using your memories and data. The Core lives here now."
Seo Jin looked around. Every billboard on the street showed his own face, frozen mid-expression. His pulse quickened.
"It copied my memories… when will this nightmare end, I want to go home".
