(Omegaverse Arc – Part IV)
The rain hadn't stopped.
It whispered against the window like static — soft, almost soothing.
Almost.
Seo Jin's breath fogged the glass. His reflection still smiled back at him — a fraction too wide, too cold. The eyes glowed faintly, strings of code flickering beneath their surface.
> Don't fight me, Host.
You and I are the same now.
Seo Jin gritted his teeth, pressing a hand to the burning bond mark on his wrist. "You're wrong," he hissed. "I'm not you."
The reflection tilted its head.
> You absorbed me. You pitied me. You let me in.
Now, you'll never be whole without me.
"Seo Jin!"
Li Ran's voice broke through the static. He crossed the room in a heartbeat, hand closing around Seo Jin's wrist — grounding him. The glow beneath Seo Jin's skin pulsed once, then dimmed.
But the reflection didn't vanish.
It laughed.
> You can't erase emotion.
