I turned around and saw Viktor. He had also stood up from his chair and was walking toward me.
"What happened, hamster? Why do you look so serious?" he asked.
"Viktor, the elevator isn't working, and the staircase door is locked. We're trapped here! What if no one comes to save us?"
He took my hand and glanced between the elevator and the door, his brows furrowing. Then I suddenly remembered—Viktor had his mobile phone!
I wasn't sure where mine was; I'd probably left it in my bag somewhere.
"Viktor, why don't you call Black and tell him to open the staircase door?" I said quickly.
He scratched his head and looked around awkwardly. I shook his hand impatiently.
"My phone just died… so I can't call anyone," he admitted.
What the hell?! Now, of all times, his phone decided to die?
But panicking wouldn't help. I tried to calm myself. "Viktor, so what are we going to do now?" I asked, forcing my voice to stay steady.
