I wanted to ignore Owen; after all, I wasn't here because of him, but his voice was so loud that it alerted some of the maids and the other occupants in the house.
Two older men who looked like Dominic stepped into the living room. They stood observing what was happening with raised brows without intervening.
Where the hell was Dominic?! How could he bring me here and leave me to fend for myself?
"Why are you so obsessed with me? I told you I don't want you anymore!" Owen's voice rose in anger.
"And who told you I wanted you back?" I shot back at him, scowling. How could he be this delusional? If I knew I was coming here, I'd have declined the offer. At least just not to see his stupid, arrogant face.
"Stop acting as if you haven't been stalking him, Harper. We are all aware of that." Camilla chimed. She moved close to Owen, her hand on his shoulder, and she sent me a smug smile.
