"FROM world to Multiverse"

Ace stood on the deck, watching his family laugh and celebrate with the liberated locals of Bacchus. They had won two battles without suffering a single casualty. His strategy of brains over brawn was working. But a cold, nagging feeling in the back of his mind told him it was too easy. A cornered animal is at its most dangerous, and he had just backed an villan into a corner.

His thoughts were interrupted by the frantic squawking of a news coo, which dropped a bundle of freshly printed papers on the deck before fleeing as if it had seen a ghost. Marco picked one up, his usual calm expression slowly melting into one of shock and disgust.

"Ace," he said, his voice grim. "You need to see this."

Ace took the paper. The front page was a horrifying sight. A blurry, chaotic photo showed a Marine base being overrun by an army of twisted, featureless shadow soldiers. The headline was chilling: BLACKBEARD'S NEW ARMY! THE SHADOW EMPEROR RISES! GEKKO MORIA FOUND DEAD!

The article detailed the gruesome discovery. Moria's body had been found on a remote island, drained of life. His subordinate, Absalom, was missing. And just last week, Shiryu of the Rain had been spotted using the power of the Suke Suke no Mi—the Invisibility fruit. The implication was clear. Blackbeard had not only killed Moria but had somehow stolen the Kage Kage no Mi.

"How can he eat two devil fruits? " Jozu rumbled, his diamond fists clenching.

"He's not just a Devil Fruit hunter," Ace muttered, his mind racing. "He's a vulture, picking the flesh from the bones of the fallen." Blackbeard wasn't just getting stronger; he was building an empire on stolen power, a legion of disposable soldiers to replace the commanders Ace had killed.

But that wasn't the worst of it. Marco pointed to another article on the page. THE "TRUE SON" OF WHITEBEARD?! MONSTER CUTS BLOODY PATH THROUGH NEW WORLD!

The article spoke of a new, monstrously powerful pirate named Edward Weevil, who claimed to be Whitebeard's biological son. He and his mother, Miss Bakkin, were hunting down and slaughtering former allies of the Whitebeard Pirates, demanding what they called their "rightful inheritance." The article was accompanied by two photos: one of Weevil, a hulking, simple-minded brute, and one of his mother, a small, cunning-looking old woman.

The commanders erupted in fury. "Blasphemy!" Vista snarled. "That fuckker dares to use Pops's name?!"

Ace said nothing. He just stared at the picture of Miss Bakkin, a strange familiarity nagging at him. He took the paper and walked silently to the infirmary.

Whitebeard was awake, sitting up in his bed, looking out a porthole at the sea. He was still weak, but a spark of the old fire had returned to his eye. Ace handed him the paper.

The old man's gaze swept over the headline about Blackbeard's new army with a grunt of disgust. He looked at the picture of Weevil and scoffed. "Fool... thinks he can wear my name like a coat..."

But then, his eye landed on the small picture of Miss Bakkin. The air in the room grew cold. The spark of fire in Whitebeard's eye turned into a raging inferno of ancient, buried hatred. His grip on the newspaper tightened, his knuckles white.

"Bakkin," he growled, the name a curse on his tongue. He looked at Ace, and his expression was one of pure disgust. "That greedy old witch... I haven't seen that face since God Valley."

"She was... one of Rocks's crew" Ace asked, his voice a low whisper.

"She wasn't a fighter," Whitebeard rasped, his voice filled with a loathing that was forty years old. "She is a bitch. A self-proclaimed 'scientist' who clung to the powerful, whispering promises of treasure and lineage. She cared for nothing but gold and secrets." He crumpled the paper in his one good hand. "She's made herself a new monster to cling to. She'll be whispering in Teach's ear now, telling him all of my old secrets, all of Rocks's old ambitions."

Ace's blood ran cold. This wasn't just a simple alliance. This was from his father's past, a link between the old evil and the new, coming to haunt them. Blackbeard hadn't just gained a powerhouse; he had gained a strategist with forty years of buried knowledge and a personal vendetta against their family.

He walked out of the infirmary, his mind a whirlwind. The war had just become infinitely more complicated. Blackbeard was no longer just a rival; he was the inheritor of Rocks's will, wielding an army of the dead, guided by a witch from the old era.

The game had changed. And Ace knew, with a chilling certainty. The next time they met, it wouldn't be a game. It would be an all out war.
