The Rank 3 HTB suit wielder blocked the blue orb, by using a tree to smash it, resulting in the tree becoming a Popsicle.

Before he could charge back at Lei Shi, the other Rank 2 HTB suit wielder, who, from the start, was no match for Lei Shi, died to Lei Shi's saber. His confidence had plummeted after seeing his comrade die and Leng Shi standing in the distance, which was a sign that their leader was dead.
The last survivor, the Rank 3 HTB suit wielder, upon seeing this immediately turned tails and fled. The smartest choice at that moment!
Lei Shi and Leng Shi didn't even give a chase and directly ran away, out of the encirclement and away from the other bounty hunters who were now dangerously close by, they couldn't delay any longer. Lei Shi didn't forget to take the HTB suit vessels of the two people he had killed, even though the energy from their energy cores wouldn't be much, it was still better than nothing, it had value especially during their current predicament.
Lei Shi absorbed the energy from the HTB suit vessels as they fled. Now that they had broken out of the previous encirclement, the trap had now become a chase. They were only able to gauge their pursuers' number and power level when they reached a plain.
There were up to five Rank 4 HTB suit wielders, a dozen and a half Rank 3 HTB suit wielders and over three dozen Rank 2 HTB suit wielders hot on their tails. Killing them in a one-on-one fight was possible but in this case were there was so many of them, and that some of them could fight in sync, coupled with the fact that they were running low on energy, their only option was to flee.
Since they were on a plain they had to increase their speed even more, in order to prevent their pursuers from firing shots at them. Their fears became reality, but their consolation was that their pursuers' attacks ended up missing, and before the shooters could get a chance to fire more accurately, they entered the forest once more.
Their increase in speed helped to throw off first the Rank 2 HTB suit wielders and, later on, the Rank 3 HTB suit wielders among their pursuers. However, the Rank 4 HTB suit wielders didn't let up and the fact that they were still being chased by them meant that they could easily inform their comrades of their location, leading to them easily catching up.
The twins fled for a long time and were only able to lose them, using great skill and their camouflages, after they had reached the Ethiopian Highlands.
After losing them, the twins fled to Sudan. "Fuck, can you believe these motherfuckers? They chased us to a desert. For what? Just a few cents? Killing us for meager a 400,000 units isn't worth it. Our lives are a lot worth more than that. Can't they understand that? Other than that, Kangaroo Corps are seriously insane. Why would they increase the bounty on our heads to 300,000 units just because we stole an egg and killed a few dudes?. Isn't that a little overkill? Cause even I want to kill myself for that reward. It's no wonder those bounty hunters chased us like we killed their fathers and raped their wives. But that doesn't change the fact that this place is fucking hot. Damn!" Leng Shi repeatedly cursed and complained; he hated being chased like a dog, and hated hot places even more. Even though he didn't feel the heat due to his HTB suit's temperature regulation feature, it still annoyed him because it limited his abilities as an ice-user.
"How long until we reach the Central African Republic" Leng Shi asked his AI monitor.
"Just a little more" replied his AI monitor who was a woman with the name Linda.
"You think your life is terrible? At least you have a girl AI monitor to go with you through all your troubles. But that a look at me, I'm surrounded by poles!" said Lei Shi in a self-pitying tone that lamented the state of the world.
"Hurts" said Ryan, Lei Shi's AI monitor.
"Good, feel my pain" Lei Shi said to Ryan.
"But I don't feel pain" said Ryan, sounding triumphant.
"Neither do you have boobs" replied Lei Shi savagely.
"If you feel so uncomfortable with this, I can change to female voice" said Ryan.
"Hell NO. That's gay" said Lei Shi adamantly.
"I don't have a gender either" said Ryan in a confused tone.
"Yea, but yo' name says otherwise" said Lei Shi.
"Sigh" Leng Shi sighed upon hearing their conversation.
"Piece of shit. You think you're so great just because you have a girl AI monitor" said Lei Shi to Leng Shi.
"When did I say that?" asked Leng Shi.
"You didn't say it, but you thought it" said Lei Shi.
"So I cannot think again?" asked Leng Shi.
"No, you ca... You Bastard! By implication, you're agreeing to the fact that you thought about that. Did you think I wouldn't notice?! I've had it. Fight me Leng Shi" Lei Shi said, provoked.
"I don't even know what exactly we're fighting over. But since you want to fight, then come. I never really needed a reason when it came to fighting" replied Leng Shi as he directly pulled out his saber.
Lei Shi did likewise. They immediately fell down to the desert sand and charged at each other. But right before they clashed a bullet shot down from the sky and exploded between them.
*Boom*
The bullet came from a flying ship. The ship was called a Carrier, because it specialized in carrying people.
"Who the fuck?!" Lei Shi. who was already angry, was now fully triggered as he looked at the flying ship after having dodged its bullet at point blank. Although they dodged, it was still a close call.
The response of the ship was to open its doors to release a swarm of Rank 3 and Rank 4 HTB suit wielders from its belly.
"Aw Snap" the twins yelled simultaneously before running away.
"How did they find us?" asked Lei Shi
"How am I supposed to know?" replied Leng Shi as they dashed through the desert, leaving clouds of dust in their wake.
What surprised them was that, they had been tracked down even though they had changed the color of their HTB suits since their last pursuit by the bounty hunters, so, they should have been unrecognizable to them. What was even more surprising was that it wasn't bounty hunters that were coming out from the Carrier; rather, it was Acme Company soldiers.
Turning back and seeing them caused the twins to fly even faster. They quickly left Sudan and entered Chad. The Central African Republic was no longer the destination.
Lei Shi turned and fired a supercharged electric-beam from his gun at the Carrier. The Carrier shot back, and their bullets collided, resulting in a heavy explosion.
KABOOM
As they went deeper into Chad, the Beasts below them became more and more numerous, to the point that even flying Beasts were in the air as well.
The reason for this was that, due to Chad's climate and vegetation, it had become a habitat for the Invaders when they had come to earth, and till then, even though the Invaders were no longer present, it still remained a habitat for the offspring of crosses between their fellow Beasts and earth's animals.
It was for that very reason that the twins, who originally wanted to go to the Central African Republic, to go to Chad instead. But now that they were being chased by such a terrifying force, their only hope was to use the Beasts to block them. This, on its own, was a great risk on their part because the Beasts in Chad hated human trespassers, especially if the humans flew over their heads, secondly, the Beasts would attack both them and their pursuers, which meant they may even die before they got a chance to throw off their enemies.
They flew deeper and deeper into Chad. The Beasts on the floor roared at them in air anger, some even jumped at them from the ground. Luckily for them, they were high in the sky, out of reach. However, there were times that there were close calls, but they were able to escape unscathed.
After reaching the depths of Chad, dozens of giant Brown-feathered birds, which had three-meter long wingspans with two-meter long body lengths, charged at them with great speed and vigor, baring their sharp talons at them while they shrieked loudly.
This breed of giant birds where called Eagle-Hawks. They were the products of the cross between earth's hawks and a giant Eagle Beast which was one of the Invaders.
"Damn!" the twins cursed and drew out their sabers.
*Clank* the sound of metal colliding with hard rock resounded when Lei Shi and Leng Shi's sabers clashed with the claws of the Eagle-Hawks.
