"Why don't you come and take it" said Leng Shi. He pulled out his saber from its sheath and held it while pointing its tip at her.
"Hahaha, Oh I definitely am gonna" she laughed and said.
"By the way, name is Cowgirl Rhea. The fastest gun in the four cardinal points. I heard you were pretty good with swords but what about guns, do you also think you're the best with them?" the woman said while shaking off the leaves from her body to reveal a Brown HTB suit which failed to conceal her well rounded and curvy body.
There was a gallant Revolver in a holster at her waist; also, there was a Cowboy hat that was attached to her belt by a short string. She took the hat placed it on her head and looked at Leng Shi with a fierce gaze, which showed intense competitiveness.
"First of, nobody cares who you are. Second, you indeed are the fastest gun, but only when it comes to spouting trash. Lastly, I'm not the best when it comes to guns or swords. So, scram." Leng Shi said savagely to Rhea. He hated it when someone tried to provoke him into fighting just because they wanted to test their skills. He then looked at Lei Shi and said "Let's get out of here; there's nothing here worth doing".
"Where are you going?" she asked hastily when she saw them preparing to leave.
"Away from you" replied Leng Shi
"Motherfu...." Rhea didn't wait to finish her curse before she abruptly shot at Leng Shi.
From her drawing of her Revolver, to her aiming it, to her pulling of the trigger, to the passing of the bullet out of the gun's barrel, to its rush towards Leng Shi , all of it happened in the fraction of a second. Whether her claim of being the fastest gun in the four cardinal points is true or not, is uncertain. However, what was certain was, she was darn fast, so fast that her movements were unseen.
The bullet on its own was so fast that the sound from its firing hadn't even echoed out yet when it had closed the distance between it and its target.
Suddenly, right before the bullet touched Leng Shi, he turned at a speed that defied the laws of physics and slashed out with his saber in a backhand slash.
*Clink*
At that point in time, Leng Shi split the bullet in twain. The cut was so sharp and precise that it looked like a hot knife cutting through butter. It was symmetrical, that the two halves passed by him with one half passing his left side and the other passing his right. The two halves ended up ricocheting and striking something else, one hit the a tree and other the ground.
*Bang*
Only after the two halves of the bullet struck, did the sound wave from the shot arrive, displaying the bullets shocking speed. However, that wasn't the only thing.
Another frightening thing was that, a blue ice-cold narrow strip of frozen land extended from the spot Leng Shi stood to about twenty-meters behind Rhea, with some of it being on her body, extending from her gun, all through the entire span of her arm up to her shoulder. The blue strip went right over the longitudinal line of the gun, her arm and shoulder, seeming to also want split them in twain.
Rhea remained as still as a sculpture, with her mouth still open from her earlier curse. She shivered, closed her mouth and swallowed hard, trying to lubricate her dry throat. It was uncertain whether the shiver was from the cold blue-strip or from fright.
While still in the slashing posture, Leng Shi said "I understand you're a bounty hunter trying to make a living. But you mistaking my reluctance to kill you as fear, weakness or lack of guts is a great over estimation of your abilities, one that you will pay a heavy price for". He then added after a moment's pause "Because my mood is good today, I'll let you off for the second time. There wouldn't be a third". His last sentence was a threat in and of itself.
Earlier, after giving it some thought, Leng Shi realized that he was just being overly cautious, and his decision to kill her as being due to him being scared of being exposed. He later came to realize that she may have just been a bounty hunter, and that was why she was able to recognize him and Lei Shi, as the money on their heads had made them rather popular. But as he tried to leave, her inability to notice his kindness triggered him.
Leng Shi sheathed his saber, but before he could once more ask Lei Shi to leave with him, he and Lei Shi yelled "Aw Snap!"
They dashed away in a certain direction, seeming to have noticed something.
"Goddammit, I knew this bitch was up to no good as soon as I noticed her eagerness to fight" Leng Shi cursed as he and Leng Shi ran.
The reason they were running away once more was because the movement radars of their HTB suit was showing that they were multiple people closing in on their location, and they all seemed to be HTB suit wielders. That was why they couldn't be bothered to kill Cowgirl Rhea even though she was most likely the one who alerted these new comers of their location.
The twins kept cursing inwardly as they fled because more and more enemies kept coming out of nowhere and blocked their escape routes. After dodging their enemies a few times and noticing that all their paths of escape were being blocked, the twins didn't dodge any longer and decided to fight them head-on and break out of the encirclement.
As they kept moving, they quickly met with a group four, comprising of one Rank 4, one Rank 3 and two Rank 2 HTB suit wielders. They were all already holding weapons, and a fight broke out as soon as they met.
Leng Shi clashed with the Rank 4 HTB suit wielder who seemed to be the group's leader while Lei Shi took the rest, since it would be easier for him to take care of the weaker ones due to his speed. The group of enemies seemed to also want to fight that way, so there wasn't the need to draw their attenetion.
Leng Shi's fight with the Rank 4 HTB suit wielder was first a competition of strength, with the both of them sending heavy blade strikes towards each other, causing sparks to fly through the air. But soon after realizing that they were almost evenly matched when it came to strength, they began competing in skill. But then again, Leng Shi's opponent didn't seem to be a novice, he was truly worthy of being the group of four's leader. However, what tipped the scales was when Leng Shi added some smarts to the mix.
As they fought, under Leng Shi's command, his HTB suit released spurts of cold gases which froze part of his opponent's body. Layers of frost and ice appeared over him. Although his movements cracked the ice as soon as they condensed, it was still a disturbance.
Right as Leng Shi's opponent thought that slowly freezing him was how Leng Shi planned on taking him down; Leng Shi suddenly removed a ball that was similar in size to a tennis ball from the storage compartment of his suit and threw it at his opponent. At such a close range, there was no way his opponent could dodge.
BOOM
The ball's explosion released liquid into the air which rapidly solidified as soon as it enveloped his opponent.
His opponent who was frozen in place struggled and tried to escape, but as soon as he began to crack the ice, the full force of Leng Shi's saber descended and hacked him from his shoulder down through his mid-section, causing blood to splash in the air. Just like that, Leng Shi killed his opponent.
After killing his opponent, Leng Shi took his HTB suit vessel and dashed away towards Lei Shi's battlefield while absorbing energy from it's energy core.
Lei Shi's battle was more bloody and higher-paced. His three opponents were pretty skilled. They fought as a single unit, with them making up for each other's shortcomings, making it difficult for Lei Shi to exploit any weaknesses. But instead of using skill to try to create loopholes and destroy their formation, he directly increased his speed. He got so fast that even though his opponents were three, they were finding it taxing to keep up.
Seeing this, Leng Shi developed an urge to see the world in chaos. He pulled out his gun and shot a blue orb at Leng Shi's three opponents.
Upon seeing the rapidly approaching blue orb, the Rank 3 HTB suit wielder among Lei Shi's opponents, the vanguard of their attack, decided to opt out of formation and block the orb, since he was the strongest among them and because only he could handle it easily. But as he moved to block it, Lei Shi's speed suddenly soared and overwhelmed the remaining two opponents.

Very quickly, one of the remaining two opponents was struck by Lei Shi's saber and fell.
