Nina gritted her teeth as she dragged the last suitcase into the elevator.
The wheels screeched in protest, and she barely kept her expression neutral as a hotel employee gave her a sympathetic smile and held the elevator door open.
"Thank you."
She said, forcing her voice to sound strained, like the bags were an impossible burden.
In truth, she could have carried all six suitcases with a single hand and not even broken a sweat.
But with this many people around, most of them trained to recognize hunters, she had no choice but to act the part of a struggling civilian.
"Why did she pack her entire life?"
She muttered under her breath, pushing a particularly heavy one farther into the corner of the lift.
"We're only here for a few days, not a full-blown expedition."
Her Patron chuckled in her mind.
[Maybe she packed extra to make up for your 'light' packing.]
"Keep quiet. I'm not in the mood."
She hissed mentally.
