Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Resurgence of the Prestigious Tycoon

As dusk fell, the bustling city of Kingstown was a sea of cars and bright lights.

The Allison Corporation building was still busy.

Charlotte Allison stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, a breeze caressing her face with the chill of melting snow.

Her long hair was lifted by the wind, and a cold smile curled at her lips.

She was reborn!

From disgrace, a broken leg, being forced into drug addiction, tortured in a mental hospital, and ultimately suffocated in a swimming pool...

Each scene was etched so clearly in her bones, gnawing at her densely.

The suffocating sensation from her death lingered not long ago, and the air at the tip of her nose made her greedily breathe in, though the cold couldn't quench the hatred surging within her.

Her eyes, reddened by asphyxiation, looked at the bustling night scene of Kingstown outside the window, a bloodthirsty killing intent emerging.

Like a demon from hell.

Ready to unleash havoc!

The phone rang, and seeing the name "Hazel" flashing on the screen, her blood-stained eyes narrowed dangerously.

After pressing the answer key, a light and joyful voice came through the phone:

"Sister, have you finished your work? The birthday party you organized for me has already started. Once you're finished, come and take a look. The setup you designed is so beautiful, I really love it. Sister, you are so kind to me..."

This voice she had just heard at the time of her death, however, then the owner of the voice was looking at her with utter hatred, pressing her face into the pool, proudly saying:

"Sister, do you like what I've arranged for you? From being humiliated at the birthday party, to Edward's fake proposal to control the Allison Corporation, to my pregnancy with Edward's child being terminated by you, until you realized it was a conspiracy after breaking your leg and I poisoned you..."

"Do you like all this?"

"Your proud Allison Corporation no longer exists, and you have fallen from grace to become less than even a dog!"

"And I, will continue to be cherished by everyone."

"All of this I achieved on my own, thanks to you, Sister. Edward and I will live happily together, and you won't be able to see it."

"Because I'm tired of playing, so it's your time to die!"

"Tomorrow, there will be reports saying: The former beauty CEO of the Allison Corporation, Charlotte Allison, died due to a mental breakdown and drowned in a swimming pool..."

"Look at this exquisite face that countless men coveted, soon to be bloated in the water..."

"Oh, and one last thing, you were always tracking the man from my birthday party that night, weren't you? He's dead. You can go see him now, it must make you happy."

These malicious words now overlapped with the joyful voice, making Charlotte Allison feel utterly nauseous.

In the phone, Hazel paused for a moment and asked confused, "Sister, are you listening?"

Charlotte replied coldly, "Mm."

"Then come over once you're done. I heard Edward's plane has landed, he'll be here soon."

"Okay."

After ending the call, Charlotte took her jacket and went downstairs.

In the car, she instinctively opened the glove compartment, but the familiar student ID wasn't there. Her hand stiffened as she realized it hadn't happened yet.

He was still alive, not dead as Hazel had finally informed in the past life.

Charlotte swallowed, resolving to find him first.

She dialed a number: "Price, prepare an employment contract for me..."
