That was pretty convenient. It means that I'm able to detect anything even when my eyes were shut and especially when I can't see that well in this darkness. Well I can say that this ability was certainly useful now. If I can detect threats and enemies, then I'm much more confident than I was last time, but still, I hope that's enough for now.
Furthermore, thanks to this skill I finally able to perceive my surroundings and apparently I'm in some sort of cave, judging by the size of it. Maybe an underground cave? That doesn't seemed very likely.
Okay I think I should start exploring this place. So, I started walking around the cave aimlessly while being cautious, trying to figure out where I was. Wherever I was, it was dark, and I could barely see anything. I moved slowly and carefully, keeping my guard up for the possibility of danger. I kept looking around me, constantly scanning for any signs of life, for signs of danger.
The silence around me made it almost eerie. It was as if nothing existed. Even the wind didn't make a sound.
Finally, after going on for a while, I came across something that interest me, an enormous door that reached all the way up to the ceiling. The door was made completely out of pure black stone and had countless intricate carvings of different patterns and symbols carved into it.
I approached it cautiously, wondering if it was safe to be near it , but when I touched it, it felt surprisingly warm underneath my hand and it felt oddly comfortable.
Huh... this is weird.
Before I knew it, I began reaching out for the handle of the massive door and tried opening it, but when I reached it, something stopped me from opening it. What was stopping me? I felt like something seemed to be telling me not to open it, that the door shouldn't be disturbed.
But why would that be? So I pulled on the handle gently and slowly, curious to see what's on the other side. I tried to open it without giving it a hard pull, hoping to open it up slowly and gently, but to no avail. When I finally gave it a small pull, the door still wouldn't open up.
Huh..?
Why isn't it opening up? The door didn't budge a single inch when I tried pulling it with my hands, it refused to move, it remained firmly in place. I pushed my shoulders against it as hard as possible, but still it wouldn't budge. What's wrong with this stupid thing?
I tried punching it repeatedly and kicking it. Nothing happened, it didn't even tremble, so I stopped doing it. Why is it so stubborn?
I was getting annoyed, and frustrated that I can't break through this thing. I was glaring daggers at the door and then I just let it aside. I know it's impossible to open this door, so I might as well give up for now. But what could possibly be behind it? Perhaps the exit...? Hmm... I don't know. But whatever it was, I must open it to know for sure.
Then suddenly, I heard a voice coming from behind the door.
"Please... save me..." At that moment, my blood froze in my veins. It spoke. A weak voice, a feminine voice, it spoke out loud. Not knowing what else to do, I decided to listen to it.
"Help me. Please... don't leave me alone!" She called out desperately.
"Who are you?" I asked sternly. I don't want to appear weak.
She sobbed, "Please... please, whoever you are....please help me escape..... Please help.." I could hear the desperation in her voice.
"I'm sorry, I can't help you. The door won't move" I answered coldly. Even if I could, I would think twice before opening it.
"Please.... don't leave me....alone .... I beg....of you" She said, crying hysterically. My eyebrows furrowed together, as I listened to her cries for help.
"What kind of bullshit is this?!" I yelled in frustration. I knew I shouldn't be shouting at her, but this entire situation is freaking me out. Why does everything have to be so damn complicated? It hurts me to hear these heartbreaking cries from her.
These pitiful cries...it's tearing me apart. I had to find a way out of this shit hole, otherwise this wasn't gonna work out well. I don't have any idea of what I'm dealing with here. Hell, this whole situation is totally beyond my understanding, and I don't want to stay in here any longer. I need to get out of this god forsaken place!
"Damnit... what now." I sighed deeply.
"Please....please help me" She whimpered weakly.
"Okay then, wait for me" I reached to a conclusion."Wait for me, I'll become stronger and get you out of there" I said to her.
"No! Don't leave me!" She cried.
"I'll come back"
"Promise?"
"Yes.... yes I promise. Wait for me" I reassured her.
"Thank you.... thank you! I'll wait for you, no matter how long!" She cried.
Then, without saying anything further, I turned around and began to walk away. I left the door that she spoke from behind, not sparing one more glance back. I walked deeper into the dark cave, following my intuition telling me to keep moving forward.
As I continued walking, my steps gradually grew fainter until they were gone. Eventually, the only thing I could see was darkness.
