The skill, {Brave Heart} was activated. It worked! It actually worked! Yes, finally I understand how to use my skills now. Yeah, so basically I just need to think about whatever skill I want to activate, and it happened. I tried it out and it actually worked!
It's amazing! This was so awesome.
Well, I wasn't expecting it to work, so it probably wasn't that great. But hey, at least it worked now.
I smiled wickedly as I readied myself to face the monster. I waited for the moment when my opponent will pounce onto me, ready to kill. I felt my blood boil at the thought of being preyed upon. I wouldn't let that happen. I clenched my fist tight and steadily, ready to strike.
I felt like my whole soul was on fire. I could feel everything. Feel it all. It was exhilarating, truly terrifying, and it felt... good.
In an instant, the beast launched forward, its massive bulk charging toward me. My smile vanished instantly. I didn't expect it to move so fast!
I was caught off guard!
Oh shit! Oh shit oh shiiit, what should I do?! It seemed like all logic had flown away the moment the beast attacked.
Can I dodged? No, I can't, it's too close!
Fine then, I'll face you head on! I swung my arms in a big arc, launching my fist toward it at full force .
Bang!
When we finally clashed, it seemed to me that the monster was stronger than me, but I didn't care. I will take it down, no matter how big or strong it was.
I punched the monster hard, making it stumble backwards a little bit, but it was fine. It managed to recover quickly and continue charging towards me. It came at me with great speed and agility, charging straight at me.
As it drew near, I dodged the attack and grabbed onto the creature, pulling it into me. It let out a shriek as I clung onto it, moving my head down to bite into its neck. I sunk my fangs into it and used {Bite}, using it to rip off a chunk of flesh.
it cried out and twisted around violently, clawing desperately at the air. Its body shook violently, but the creature didn't lose balance. It struggled to get away from me, but I pulled it harder, biting down even more fiercely until it screamed.
But before I could react, it grabbed ahold of me and threw me away from it. I hit the ground hard, the impact sending shockwaves through my entire body. I groaned loudly as I struggled to stand up. I quickly regained my balance and turned around, ready to defend myself.
I looked at it with my coldest glare. It stood there with its eyes still glowing dangerously red, it opened its mouth widely as it roared at me.
I merely smirked in the face of it's intimidation, showing no sign of fear. My confidence grew as I stared back at it in defiance. I could feel it... I felt a great force building inside me.
An intense pressure was emanating from inside me, and slowly, it spread to the rest of my body.

It was time to end things...for real and I was more than ready to do it. My fingers curled tightly into fists as my mind focused on one thing , and one thing only. To destroy the threat before me...
The monster before me seemed to sense this. It backed away, and growled menacingly as it prepared itself for another charge. There was no way that I'm letting it get close to me again this time. I dashed forward and slammed against it with my fist.
Bang!
It staggered backward, staggering a few steps. I rushed toward it and struck it once more. And again. One blow after another. It couldn't catch its breath as I beat it mercilessly with each punch I threw at it. I kept hammering it, slamming into it with all my strength. After several punches, the monster fell down, unable to stand up anymore.

My heart pounded against my chest. I was filled with immense joy and satisfaction.
I won!!! My body was shaking as I held my fist in the air. This victory... I can't even begin to explain how satisfying it felt. This feels.... good. Really, really good.
Now... I still haven't figured out where I am or where I'm supposed to go from here, but I'm not worried. I'm sure I'll figure it out.
No matter where I ended up, I'd find a way to survive. I don't care what happens, I will survive and become stronger. I don't have any doubts in my mind. Everything would be fine if I can live long enough. I was determined to do whatever I could to survive.
Yeah, I'm so cool, right?... anyway let's just leave it at that. All that mattered was getting stronger so I can live happily ever after like in those stories. That's all I really cared about.
I closed my eyes for a second and smiled, taking a deep breath. I opened my eyes and looked around my surroundings. It's still dark, but somehow I can see better now thanks to {Dark Vision}. Speaking of which, I got a new skill, didn't I? Well let's checked my status....

The increased in physical stats must be the effect of {Brave Heart}. What an useful skill. I leveled up again after leveling up from earlier. It's really like a game wasn't it? Well, this was pretty fun I guess but I wonder what will happen if I reached level 5? was it the limit? If so, I wonder what would happen when I reach that limit? Will I became stronger?
Well, there was no point in worrying about all this right now though. I looked at the skills. Hmm.... yeah, I did got a new skill.
{Demonic Instinct}: The user's senses become sharper and your intuition becomes stronger. The user can sense the presence of everything around them.
