Sitting in the car not far away from the cottage, Zhang Yichan lit a cigarette and called Li Jing.
"Hello, Brother Yichan. Have you told Yumi about your feelings? " - Enquired Li Jing.
"Jing jing, i am sending you an address, it's already late, can you ask Zhao Yang to bring you here?"- said Zhang Yichan.
"Brother Yichan, is everything okay? Didin't we just part ways an hour ago? Is Yumi okay? Did something happen to Auntie? "- she asked in confusion.
" I will explain everything once you get here. Can you please come right away?" - Yichan Asked.
"okay. Send me the address, Brother Yang just left, I will call him to come back." - saying this she hung up and called Zhao yang.
Sending Li jing the address, Zhang Yichan took a puff from his cigarette and looked at the cottage.
Even though Chen Yumi said, she wanted to be alone, he was scared that she might not be able to take this well. Li Jing and Chen Yumi have always been so close to each other. so he called her.
his mind was in a mess. He know Xu Hao was a man who would go to any extent when he wants something in his business.
he always treated Yumi good and never once hurt her or made her uncomfortable and yumi was always happy when she was with him.
Even though it hurt him to look at them when they are together, he noticed yumi smiling happily when he was around.
But he never expected Xu Hao to do such a thing and Yumi would find out about it just 2 days before their wedding.
Looking at his phone for a couple of seconds, he called his assistant, "I want all the information you can find on Xu Hao by tomorrow morning. His recent takeovers, new projects and anything relates him to Chen family especially about women in his life."
"yes sir, anything else I should do?" - answered his assistant.
"hmm, Cancel my ticket for tomorrow and ask Vice president Lin to go to US and attend the meetings that have been lined up. Tell her, she can take a paid vacation after this trip."
"yes president" - said his assistant before hanging up.
After an hour, Li Jing and Zhao Yang has arrived. Looking at Zhang Yichan who was smoking and the pile of cigarette butts beside his feet, Zhao Yang frowned and made his way to him.
When he saw his friends walking to him, Zhang Yichan put out the cigarette and stood straight.
"Brother Yichan, Are you alright? What is this place and why are you here at this hour?" - Li Jing asked looking at the watch on her wrist and noticing that it was almost 3 am.
Taking a deep breath, Zhang Yichan explained what happened to them.
After listening to everything, Zhao yang was silent but Li jing was furious.
"That bastard, how dare he do this to Yumi. I will skin him alive now." - Li Jing said trying to go back to the car.
She was very furious on Xu Hao. For some reason Li jing never liked Xu Hao. Even though Yumi looked happy, Li jing knew that Yumi was only feeling indebted to him for paying her Mother's hospital fee.
She has seen Chen Yumi take care of Xu hao when he was sick, trying to have a good relationship with Mother Xu.
She had witnessed how brutal Mother Xu's words were when she insulted Chen Yumi last time they met a mall.
every time mother Xu saw Yumi, she never looked happy. There was a time when Yumi and Li jing went shopping and came across Mother Xu and her friends.
Mother Xu was obviously unhappy and embarrassed to introduce Yumi to her friends and said Yumi is an orphan who has no value and she was clinging onto Xu Hao just for his money. Li jing was so furious that she rushed over to fight with mother Xu. if yumi didn't stop her in time, there would have been an ugly fight between them. Li jing understood that Yumi might not have a good and peaceful life if she was with Xu Hao.
she repeatedly warned him every time they met, that if he happens to do anything that makes Yumi upset, she would kill him.
Stopping Li Jing who was about to walk to the car, "Dealing with him is not important now. we need to be there for yumi." Zhao yang reminded her calmly.
Taking a deep breath, Li Jing looked at the cottage and asked , "How long has she been there?"
"More than an hour. Maybe you should go and check on her. Here is the key" - Yichan said passing her the key to the cottage as he was afraid Yumi won't open the door.
Nodding at him, Li Jing made her way to the cottage and opened it.
Inside the cottage, Chen yumi who has stopped crying and when she heard the door sound, she lifted her hand looked at her best friend walking towards her.
Li Jing went towards her and called her,"Yumi"
Looking at Li Jing, Chen Yumi who has just calm down started crying again.
Hugging her best friend, "Don't be sad anymore. I will teach him a lesson for you okay?" - Li jing said.
"JingJing, what should I do now? what about Mom?" - said Yumi sobbing.
Outside the cottage:
"what do you want to do now?" - asked Zhao Yang looking at Zhang Yichan who kept smoking cigarette after cigarette.
"I don't know" - he answered clearly clueless about anything.
It was almost 7 AM in the morning , when the girls walked out. Chen Yumi fell asleep crying last night and Li Jing didn't want to wake her up, so she texted Zhao Yang that Chen Yumi had just fallen asleep. And urged them to go home.
But when they came out, both the men were still guarding the cottage.
Zhao yang was sitting in the car looking at his phone while Yichan was standing with his back against the car. As soon as he saw the girls, he straightened up.
