Chapter 20 - Chapter 20: “The Divine Tribunal — Keika vs. Heaven’s HR Department (Featuring Leonhart as His Lawyer)”

The Most Pointless Courtroom in the Cosmos

"Court is now in session!"

Thunder cracked, trumpets blared, and a heavenly courtroom materialized around Keika — marble floors glowing, halos as chandeliers, and a jury composed entirely of floating cherubs holding clipboards.

Keika sat slumped in the defendant's seat, while Leonhart — in an oversized lawyer's robe and glasses that did nothing — stood beside him, grinning proudly.

"Leonhart," Keika whispered, "do you even know what a lawyer does?"

"Of course. I roar loudly when things go wrong."

"That's… that's not lawyering. That's being a tiger."

"Same thing, right?"

The prosecutor angel slammed a stack of divine parchments onto the desk.

"Defendant Keika is charged with the following heavenly violations:

— Unauthorized accumulation of fluff!

— Formation of a pseudo-divine monarchy!

— Psychological harm to angels during routine inspections!

— Refusing destiny, three counts!"

Keika raised a hand.

"Can I add 'existential fatigue caused by divine incompetence' to your list?""Silence, mortal!"

The Cross-Examination of Absurdity

Leonhart stepped forward dramatically.

"Objection!""...On what grounds?""He looks tired! That's emotional distress!"

The jury gasped.Keika facepalmed so hard he left a mark.

"Leonhart. You can't object to being tired.""But it's true!"

The prosecutor sighed.

"Your Majesty Keika, please state your defense."

"My defense is that I didn't ask for any of this!"

"Irrelevant!"

"So is this entire court!"

At that moment, the ceiling glowed. The same smug divine voice from before echoed again:

"Oho~ Keika! Looks like you're having fun!"

"I'm two seconds from spiritual arson!"

"Excellent! That means you're ready."

"Ready for what?! I'm on trial!"

A new [DING!] echoed through the air.A glowing status window appeared in front of everyone.

The Divine Plot Twist

[NOTICE: TRIAL TERMINATED.]

[RESULT: IRRELEVANT.]

[REASON: SCENARIO UPDATE IN PROGRESS.]

[CONGRATULATIONS, KEIKA! YOU HAVE PASSED THE CELESTIAL FILTER.]

[NEW QUEST: "REAL ISEKAI MODE UNLOCKED."]

[DESTINATION: WORLD UNDER COLLAPSE.]

Everyone froze. The prosecutor blinked. The jury stopped flapping. Leonhart smiled faintly — too faintly.

Keika squinted.

"What... what does that mean, 'real isekai mode'?"

Leonhart turned toward him. His golden eyes, normally playful, now shimmered with ancient light.

"It means, my king… this was just the prelude."

The Revelation of the Lion God

The courtroom melted away like mist, replaced by an endless field of stars.Leonhart's silhouette grew — wings of light unfurled, his mane blazing like a sun.

"Wh—Leonhart?! WHAT ARE YOU—""I am Leonhart, the Lion God of Realms. It was I who granted you the ability to cross between worlds."

Keika's jaw dropped.

"You mean—my random teleport, the fluff kingdom, the heavenly invasion—""All tests. All illusions. The real world—the true one—is calling for you."

The stars trembled. Fragments of dying worlds flickered before them — cities collapsing, gods fading, skies cracking like glass.

"You've been chosen, Keika. The world beyond this illusion faces annihilation. Only one who has conquered absurdity can survive it."

Keika's expression flattened.

"So… I was isekai'd into an isekai to train for a real isekai?""Yes.""Do you realize how stupid that sounds?!""Divine wisdom often does."

Keika groaned.

"So what—you expect me to save another doomed world? With what, sarcasm and rabbits?!"

"You underestimate the power of sarcasm," Leonhart said, smiling. "And yes. The rabbits are coming too."

 Departure

A beam of light enveloped Keika. His clothes changed — a cloak marked with celestial sigils, a pendant glowing faintly around his neck.

The voice of the gods echoed one last time:

"Welcome, Keika. To the True Realm of Endings."

"Can I at least pack lunch first—"

FLASH.

He vanished.

Aftermath — Empty Throne, Awakened Kingdom

Back in the now-illusory Fluff Kingdom, the tigers and rabbits looked up as the throne shimmered and dimmed.

Eliara touched the armrest.

"So... he's gone?"Leonhart — or what was left of his divine echo — nodded."For now. The Fluff King's true journey has begun."

A small bird saluted the empty throne.

"He'll be back, right?"Leonhart chuckled softly."Knowing him? He'll ragequitted Heaven itself."

 Next World

Keika awoke in a burning forest — unfamiliar stars overhead, a ruined temple ahead. The air buzzed with dying magic.

He stared at the sky, sighed deeply, and muttered:

"Great. Another apocalypse. No rabbits. No tigers. No breakfast."

A system chime echoed.

[Welcome to the Realm of Endings. Difficulty: Tutorial++.]

[Mission Objective: Survive.]

Keika groaned.

"...I hate gods."
