"Stepmum??" I asked my father shockingly as he suddenly told me about it.
"Yes. She will be here tomorrow" My father said and I replied him " As long as she doesn't give me problems,I am fine with anything. It has been long since mum passed away,so you have every right to remarry me"
"Thank you for understanding me,Amelia" My father smiled at me and I returned it.
"Ohh.She has a son,so you have a stepbrother' My father added and I nodded.
"I am leaving for school,bye" I said to my father and blew him kisses before leaving.

"You father is getting remarried and you have a stepbrother?" My friend Nina asked dramatically and responded with "Yes"
"For real?? This is crazy" Nina said to me and I told her to stop being dramatic.
"That's your crush,Amelia.He is here" Nina spoke, pointing at Roderick who just arrived.
I have been crushing on Roderick for the past one year and I have not been able to muster the courage to tell him how I feel.
"I can see him" I muttered to Nina, drooling at him senselessly.
He is putting on a blue jean and black jacket with inner white shirt. He literally looks like perfection. He passed beside her and she perceive his lavender scent.
Nina voice brought me back to my senses and I slapped my head playfully. "Let's go to class,Nina" I said to my friend and we left together.
We met Sandra and Violet on our way. They hate us so much and we dislike them too.
"Look at them. Always forming like they are better than us" Sandra said hatefully and I smirked.
"Academically,we are better. Beauty,we are better. I don't even need to compare our beauties with your plastic faces" I said to them and Nina laughed hysterically.
"How dare you call us plastic faces?? Yes,we undergone surgery but you aren't up to us" Violet barked and I smiled.
"Yes,we aren't up to your surgery faces" Nina retorted and Sandra tried to slap her but I held her hand and twisted it hardly.
"Ahhhhhh" She screamed painfully,I let go of her hand roughly and spoke.
"Don't ever try to do that again" I said to them before leaving with Nina.
"This bitches" Sandra muttered, checking out her hand which has gotten red already.

"You are meeting your stepfather and stepsister tomorrow?" Dorian asked surprisingly.
"Yes" Roderick replied,passing the ball into net skillfully.
"And why are you do nonchalant about it?" Dorian questioned.
"Am I supposed to be celebrating?? I don't understand your question,Dorian" Roderick responded.
"I mean you are just so cool"
"Nothing is going to change my mom's mind,so why bother persuading her when it's will fall into deaf ears?"
"Yeah. That's true. I hope your new family will like you" Dorian said.
"I don't give a damn if they like me or not. They should just stay in their lane and I will stay in my lane as well" Roderick replied and Dorian smiled and spoke.

"I hate Fridays" I said to Nina as we closed for the day.
"You hate all days of the week,Amelia" Nina teased and I laughed.
I saw Sandra flirting with Roderick and I rolled my eyes taking my look away from them.
"You just need to muster your courage and confess your feelings,girl. Sandra will take him away from you at this rate" Nina spoke to me and I sighed.
"It's not as easy as you speak,Nina."
"Then try. There is no harm in trying. The least he can do is reject you" Nina assured.
"That's the reason I don't want to confess. What's if I confess my love for him and he rejects me?? I will be very heartbroken" I asked Nina.
"Confess to him tomorrow. If he rejects you,cry a little,move on and you will find a man that's truly loves you. no,you have found a man who loves you but you are too blinded by the love you have for Roderick"
"Scott?" I asked knowingly and Nina nodded.
"He is not my type. Well,I will take your advice and try tomorrow"
"That's my girl" Nina squealed and I smiled.

"Hey, Roderick" Sandra said cutely as she approached Roderick who is about to mount on his power bike.
"Hi" He responded and she stretched her hand for a handshake.
"Sandra.Mass communication major" She said and he took her handshake.
"You know my name,there is no need to introduce myself" He said and she smiled.
"I have known you for a while but I have been so scared to approach you"
"Why?" He asked.
"Cause' you always have a cold look" She replied and he have her a blank look.
"Yeah. Friends?" She asked.
"I don't make friends with females" He replied coldly and climb on his bike,zooming off.
"He is too cold" She murmured.
•ROOM•
I am writing in my diary as usual about my crush. I wrote everything that happened today.
How I spotted him in the morning, and how I also sighted him with Sandra.
I have made up my mind to confess to him tomorrow. I don't care about the outcome.
I closed my diary and fell on my bed flatly. I shut my eyes tightly and I hope to dream about Roderick in my sleep.

My father voice woke me up from sleep and i stood up from the bed lazily, wearing my flip-flop.
"Yes,Dad" I answered my father who has been calling me.
"You are awake" My father said to me and I rolled my eyes.
"You woke up with your voice. I have not intention of waking up now" I replied my father and he smiled.
"My wife and her son are coming today,have you forgotten?? So we need to prepare everything"
"Ohh. Please.I totally forgot" I mumbled and my father told me to prepare breakfast for the visitors...No....My new family.
The breakfast was served five minutes ago and I was on my way upstairs to take a shower when I heard a knock on the door.
I supposed it's my father's wife and son and I went to open the door. The door opened and my eyes almost popped out of the socket seeing my crush.
