The wheel of time has turned five years forward. The scene is a luxurious office on the 24th floor of 'Horizon Towers'. Sawan, now known here as 'Aryan Malhotra', stands in his boss's cabin. The fear is gone from his face, replaced by a strange silence.
"Boss, here's the file. The presentation you gave me is complete," Sawan said in a flat voice.
The boss looked at him in surprise, "Great job, Aryan! You finish work very quickly. Okay, you can go now. I'll call you if I need you."
Sawan went back to his desk and sat down. Just then, one of his teammates, Tanisha, came up to him, smiling. "Aryan, are you free today? Let's go out for dinner somewhere.
Sawan replied without looking at her, "No, I have a lot of work. The boss has given me more tasks." Tanisha left, looking a little disappointed. Sawan glanced at her as she left and then became engrossed in his computer screen again.
Suddenly, the computer screen began to blur, and the same dark shadow began to whisper in Sawan's ears—"Kill him, Sawan... finish him!"
The scene suddenly flashes back to the same torture room from five years ago. Sawan is lying on the ground. The same kidnapper grabs Sawan's left arm and twists it so brutally that with a 'crack', Sawan's bone breaks through the flesh. Sawan lets out a scream that shakes the entire room. Due to the unbearable pain, Sawan's eyes close, and he goes into 'blackout' mode.
This was the moment when Sawan's third personality completely took over.
Sawan opened his eyes—those eyes were no longer Sawan's, but the eyes of a predator. Sawan used his broken arm, with the bone protruding, as a weapon. He attacked the kidnapper's throat with lightning speed, thrusting the sharp, exposed bone through his neck.
The kidnapper wanted to scream, but Sawan didn't give him the chance. He brought his mouth close to the kidnapper's, crushed his tongue with his teeth, and bit it off. Sawan spat the tongue onto the floor. In the light filtering through a small window in the room, Sawan's blood-soaked face looked like that of a demon. He pulled the knife from the kidnapper's belt and ran out of the room like a madman.
As soon as Sawan opened the door of the torture chamber, the scene suddenly changed. In place of the door was Sawan's office desk.
From behind, his boss tapped him on the shoulder, "Aryan? Aryan! Wake up, finish your work."
Sawan sat up with a start. Sweat beaded on his forehead, and his heart was pounding. The office was now silent; most people had left. The clock showed 9 PM.
Sawan realized that he had been lost in a deep and terrifying
delusion for the past several hours while working. Even today, sitting in that office chair, he was reliving the same torture from five years ago. Was he truly free, or was he still a prisoner in that dark room?
