The information on the status panel changed again and when Kael read it he got stunned thoroughly. There was only a single line on it.
[Eternal Vessel: You are almost undying and destruction runs through your veins]
'Am I immortal now?'
It did sound like that but he knew that there must be limitations and it was something he should find out later to not let himself get ahead of what he could handle.
He tried to get information on his ability but there was none.
He had a feeling though that it was something to do with burning his blood given its name.
He would try later. It was time to see his Genesis core.
'How was it again, Genesis core.'
The moment he said that his perception vanished and he arrived in a place filled with red brilliance. This brilliance was getting released by a red sphere floating above him. He could also see a small red flower, two stones and a crystal floating around it.
This was the Genesis space and the sphere was the Genesis core he had just awakened. This was the place all his Genesis relics would be stored.
It was quite amazing to be able to see inside your own body. He exited by muttering exit and this time he summoned information about the Flower of Death.
[Flower of Death: A treacherous flower that releases pollens of control it's prey in absolute darkness. Those who breathe in its pollen will become its thralls. Effect depends on the strength of victims]
'Ahh so it's basically a replica of that abomination.'
It would be hard to use it as absolute darkness wasn't something which was present everywhere. There was no doubt that the night in his trial was absolutely different from the night on other planets.
'Well even if it's useless, I will keep it. It will be a bittersweet memory of pain and gain.'
He then put his attention on the stone of knowledge. It was far rarer than a Genesis crystal and if he sold it then he would become one of the richest people in his society but there was no way he would do it.
The stone of knowledge was the way the world had uncovered most of the truth present till now. This stone literally could give you knowledge of any event that happened in history or anything you liked to know.
He didn't know how to use it as no one had mentioned about it but it wouldn't be hard. He summoned its information.
[Stone of Knowledge: A stone created by Genesis, the watcher of everything after its creation. It can give you knowledge of anything you desire as long as it is after the birth of Genesis]
'Desire huh... so basically you might have to think what you want by holding it.' He wouldn't test it as it will get consumed.
It really was amazing. The only problem was that it couldn't give you knowledge before Genesis was created, basically what happened which led to the great calamity across multiple worlds and domains.
Anyway he would keep it. There would definitely come a time when he wanted to know something.
He looked at the other things. He already knew about them. One was the appraisal stone. It was also like the stone of knowledge but could only give you knowledge of things which were physically near you.
The second one was the Bloodline Acquisition Crystal. Everyone got this as a reward once they cleared trials. These crystals are relics so you can get them by chance when killing some creatures.
There were two ways humans got strength. One was their trait and the other was using this. The human bloodline was probably the weakest bloodline in the world but they had one advantage. They could infuse their bloodlines with the bloodline of any creature.
Once they did that they got the abilities of that creature. One human could only fuse with one bloodline. It wasn't any rule as some of them did try to go for a second bloodline but in the end the bloodline with stronger potential erased the other bloodline, leaving them with only one. Not to mention the fight between those bloodlines almost killed their host.
Potential was the main factor while choosing a bloodline as the strength of the bloodline depended on it.
There were eight grades for human ascension according to their Genesis Core. These were basically: Latent, Awakened, Ascended, Exalted, Sovereign, Transcendent, Sanctified and Eternal.
This was knowledge found using the stone of knowledge too as no one was even close to reaching even Sovereign much less Eternal.
Similarly corrupted creatures had their own ascension path: Tainted, Warped, Unbound, Defiled, Tyrant, Aberrant, Profaned and Abyssal.
Here corrupted creatures had another classification based on their bloodline potential. These bloodline potentials were: Feral, Predatory, Dire, Dreadborn, Calamitous, Cataclysmic, Apocalyptic and Annihilator.
The strength of a beast was highly influenced by this potential.
He had killed a Warped Cataclysmic creature in his trial and that was really a miracle as it was an impossible feat. In fact if it was some normal beast instead of a plant, he would have failed thoroughly.
The Earth had faced an Annihilator potential beast in the past and those who survived told that it was a world-ending disaster. It was kind of true though. Whole china along with some nearing countries were destroyed in the past by this beast.
It would have even destroyed the whole world but luckily a group of people ascended to the next grade and finally finished off this abomination. That group of people became heroes of the world.
In this world the only accessible land humans were left with was after that disaster was half of Europe and Russia. This was also a strategically chosen place by humans to group up and strengthen themselves but slowly they even lost most of it and only a small amount of it was left now.
This was some of the knowledge available for everyone to search so he had known about it.
As he was thinking about the Bloodline Acquisition Crystal he suddenly thought of something and looked towards the tentacle.
'Don't tell me that this beast was also chosen for me?'
The Genesis crystal did come embedded into it. It definitely wasn't like someone just threw genesis crystal towards him. Maybe it was floating around the universe before finally it found a suitable host or something.
So the tentacle it ripped off some creature wasn't something it brought for him.
