Chapter 37 - Psyker

As Noah's command was issued, with the help of the Mechanical Legion, all the Psykers on the entire planet were rounded up.

The Imperium of Man had difficulty gathering all Psykers in the past because their infrastructure was simply too poor.

However, compared to them, Noah was completely different; he had invested heavily in building a vast amount of infrastructure and installed chips in all citizens, making them truly qualified citizens.

At the same time, the Terran Federation had comprehensive preparedness measures for psionics awakening events and ample methods for cultivating Psykers.

Therefore, as far as the Imperium of Man was concerned, the Terran Federation was far ahead in the search for Psykers.

After Noah's command was issued, out of the tens of billions of people on the entire planet, Noah selected a total of 400 qualified Psykers; the rest were deemed unqualified.

The remaining individuals, in Noah's eyes, had psionics that was practically no different from having none at all.

It was even impossible to effectively cultivate them; if they were to be strengthened, the consumption of resources would be immense.

He could disregard this matter later, but in the early stages, he had to conserve every single resource.

According to the Terran Federation's organizational structure, a Psionic Legion should consist of one million individuals.

Additionally, various weapons required by the Psionic Legion also needed to be equipped, but Noah could not achieve this.

He only had 400 people; as for the supporting weapons needed for the Psionic Legion, he could craft them himself.

After all, these Psionic Legions were from a very, very, very long time ago, and their requirements were not too high.

Noah led these 400 people into the underground city, which contained too much of Noah's technology.

Here, there were relatively usable devices to strengthen these individuals.

"Enter now, go into the stasis pods. I will develop your psionics, making you qualified Psykers to benefit humanity."

No sooner had Noah finished speaking than the 400 Psykers behind him showed no hesitation.

One by one, they went to their respective stasis pods and lay inside.

Although they felt very strange when Noah led them here, they couldn't believe what kind of place this was.

They believed this place was different from everything in the Imperium of Man, yet they still maintained trust in Noah.

One reason was that Noah was the Living Saint proclaimed by the Ecclesiarchy, effectively representing the Emperor.

Another reason was that Noah allowed them to have a place to live, sleep well, and eat their fill.

Whether it was the faith from before or the tangible benefits afterward that played a role, no one delved into it.

They only knew that they could completely trust Noah.

They believed this Living Saint, and everything he did made sense.

Even if what happened today might cost them their lives, they would generously face death.

Because among these 400 Psykers, over 300 were truly selected from the Underhive.

They were originally just outcasts of the Underhive, and now they had become citizens.

They ate food they had never dared to imagine.

They also slept on soft beds they had never dared to touch; all of this was brought to them by Noah.

These benefits might seem insignificant to many, but to them, this was everything, and they were willing to offer their lives for Noah.

As the 400 Psykers entered the stasis pods, Noah began to inject them with zelo.

This was something Noah brought from the Terran Federation, a materialized substance of psionic energy.

If these substances were injected into the stasis pods, and with some simple technology, the psionics of the people inside could be enhanced.

It was just that the citizens of the Imperium of Man were truly a bit too poor.

Noah not only had to enhance their psionic abilities but also had to re-encode their genes for these citizens.

He had to make them human again and stably inject these energies into their bodies.

Fortunately, the Terran Federation possessed sufficient technology, so when Noah carried out these tasks, it was as simple for him as pinching an ant.

After all, it was technology that had been obsolete for a very, very long time.

Even a normal infant born in the federation possessed strong power; they wouldn't be as weak as these people.

Noah stayed in the laboratory for five days.

As for the governance of the entire planet?

He directly let his administrative team handle it.

Noah also equipped them with some sentient ai, which could help them assist in completing various tasks on the entire planet; it was not that the Imperium of Man at this time feared ai.

AI rebellion?

That is, the so-called Iron Men rebellion or intelligent rebellion.

This was not a problem for the Terran Federation at all; the federation had ways to restrain these guys.

After three AI rebellions and the baptism of the Purge Protocol, the federation already possessed absolute technology to control AI; it was impossible for them to have any problems.

This was technology obtained from the Purge Protocol, so for Noah, a citizen of the Terran Federation at this time, AI was something he would definitely use.

Five days later, the 400 Psykers emerged from the cultivation pods, having been completely transformed.

They were all wearing the nano-combat suits Noah had prepared for them; the advantage of nano-combat suits was that they could encase you regardless of your body shape.

These 400 Psykers were both male and female, but the only constant was that their combat power was already sufficient to contend with an ordinary Greater Daemon of Chaos.

Those with exceptional talent could even single-handedly fight against three to four Greater Daemons without falling behind.

"Very good, your enhancement is complete. For the next period, you will train continuously in this city; do not leave the city at will."

"I will lead you on a secret mission, but before that, please familiarize yourselves with the energy within your bodies and use it proficiently."

The 400 Psykers stood at attention, their eyes no longer filled with fear and confusion, but with determination and power.

They could feel the psionics flowing within them, a sense of control they had never experienced before—

No longer chaotic, uncontrollable power, but precisely guided energy.

This power was like a gentle kitten, capable of being controlled by them at any time, rather than being wantonly unleashed to harm others; this was controllable power.

Noah left, leaving behind ten Adeptus Mechanicus instructors.

Although the robots did not know how to use psionics, they possessed sufficient knowledge.

Noah had programmed them with extensive knowledge on how to teach people to use psionics, which allowed the robots to guide these individuals.

This was the limit of what Noah could do; he could not stay here to guide these Psionic Legions.

He had many other things to do; he still needed to continue researching federation technology.

Only civilian technology made him feel very uneasy; he needed military technology to add some security for himself.
