Chapter 40 - Explore

Noah couldn't figure out what had happened, but he had to find out, otherwise, it would be too dangerous in the galaxy.

According to the star charts collected by the Imperium, there should be another Imperium colony next to his star system.

Since he couldn't understand the situation here, he would go to another colony and ask about it.

Perhaps they might know more than he did.

Driven by this thought, Noah dispatched all the warships he could, totaling two cruisers, four destroyers, and eighteen frigates.

Some of the warships he brought from the federation, while others he had just built.

After all, what's the first thing you do when you want to declare sovereignty over a star system?

Naturally, you build a starbase!

Through long development, he already had a starbase of Starfort level.

In this warp incursion, his starbase also survived, but he could only communicate with it.

The exploration fleet slowly lifted off from the orbit of the Betel Imperial homeworld.

After all, this was just a fleet consisting of one cruiser, four destroyers, and sixteen frigates. This level of warship could only be used as an exploration fleet or for combating pirates.

The fleet set off, and Noah was also on board.

He wanted to personally find out what had happened.

Unlike the Imperium's warships, the Terran Federation's warships were capable of faster-than-light travel.

Therefore, to quickly find another Imperial colony, the small fleet accelerated to 600,000 times the speed of light.

Just a few minutes after departing, they arrived above another Imperial world.

Unfortunately, before Noah could investigate the situation, he already detected a stench like feces emanating from the world below… The fate of this colony world was clear without further explanation.

It must have been corrupted by the forces of Chaos.

Even in space, Noah could feel the stench of feces coming from the planet below. However, besides this putrid smell, there were still human citizens resisting down there.

It was the potential presence of these human citizens that made Noah decide not to leave with his fleet immediately, but to remain in orbit above this Imperial world.

The Terran Federation would not abandon its human citizens.

Since he had seen the presence of human citizens on this planet, Noah was willing to offer assistance to this world, within his capabilities.

The PDF troops had just completed their training.

How could an army become truly elite if it had never experienced war, and only trained in simulated battles day in and day out?

Since the enemy was already at their doorstep, they would fight!

Not to mention that there were human citizens still resisting here, and he needed to save them.

Just the thought of an enemy sleeping in his own bed was enough.

It had already made Noah determined to eradicate these Chaos demonic forces.

In addition, it was also an opportunity to assess the combat effectiveness of these Chaos demonic forces.

By now, Noah had finally realized that this new universe was simply a pile of shit.

It was simply a very abstract toilet.

The Warp here was completely different from the Warp in the federation's universe; it contained a multitude of Chaos Gods.

Their power influenced the entire Warp, making the Warp energy like a pile of shit, making it impossible for him to even approach.

At the same time, these Warp Chaos Gods also posed a threat to humanity.

As long as he remained in this universe, engaging in combat with the Chaos armies of this universe was inevitable.

Now was a good time to use this war to test the enemy's strength.

"Fleet, return to base. The cruiser will stay and conduct orbital bombardment against all Chaos concentrations on this planet, weakening their combat power as much as possible, and assisting the citizens on the ground to survive."

"The rest of the fleet is to immediately return and bring 10 million PDFs. The returning fleet will escort our transport units as we prepare for a planetary assault, bringing our Titan Legions."

Noah's orders quickly spread throughout all the warship groups.

The destroyers and frigates slowly turned their warships, then vanished from their original positions in the next second.

The escort fleet directly returned to the main star's orbit, and the PDF troops also received Noah's orders. They began to assemble, and the Titan Legions also began to gather.

These Titans were handcrafted by Noah after he obtained and studied the research data from the Mechanicus.

Due to material and cost issues, Noah only made them equivalent to a Warlord-class Titan in terms of combat power.

These were new types of Titans produced by combining some federation technology with native Imperium technology.

Don't let their combat power, merely Warlord-class, fool you.

When supplies were fully provided and production lines were running at full capacity, ten Warlord-class Titans could be rolled out in a single day.

This was the result of allocating specialized Titan production lines even while other production lines were also running.

Although Noah had always wanted to unlock the federation's military technology, he wouldn't waste the Imperium's technology either.

After all, native technology should be particularly effective against native enemies; this has been proven through war.

And most importantly, it was cheap.

Compared to the combat mechs in the Terran Federation, the Imperium's Titans were clearly cheaper. With the addition of an AI, only one pilot was needed to operate a Warlord-class Titan.

In reality, the pilot for this Titan could actually be omitted, as the AI could fully control the Titan, but it was merely for appearances.

Another factor was the Imperium's reverence for these Titans.

When these 'God-Machines' walked the earth, the morale of the Imperium's forces would also soar.

In contrast, while manufacturing expensive but powerful federation combat mechs could achieve a similar effect,

the initial morale boost would likely be absent.

Of course, the federation's weapons were primarily made of alloys, and the quality was not up to standard for manufacturing.

Also, even though Titans were cheap, they still required alloys.

Therefore, Noah didn't have too many Titans; he only had 400 Warlord-class Titans.

It wasn't that he couldn't quickly produce more.

It was simply that there weren't enough alloys, and alloys still needed to be used for precious transport ships and frigates.

Noah stood on the cruiser, watching his fleet depart to gather his PDF. After seeing them off, Noah shifted his attention to the planet below.

"Warships, bombard all Chaos gathering points with full force, indiscriminately, to weaken their combat power as much as possible. Order our psionics Legion troops to prepare for an initial aerial drop to investigate the situation on the planet."

"It is imperative to establish contact with our human compatriots on the planet and ascertain their situation."
