from the Book of Luminous Eclipse, Chapter II: "Of Flame and Abyss."

🔥 BAAL — THE EVER-BURNING DAWN

Titles: Flame God Cthugha, The Origin of Flames, Eternal of the Ever-Burning Dawn, First Prince of the Luminous Kingdom

Race: Abyss/Phoenix

Parentage: First Son of Noir Atremus

Affinities: Fire and Abyss

Divine Authority:

Sovereign of Flame and Rebirth

Emperor of Dawnfire

Lord of Purification and Judgment

Bearer of the Phoenix Crown

đź”± I. The Birth of Dawnfire

> "When the first dawn broke upon the endless void, it was not light that rose first — it was flame.

And in that flame, the soul of Baal awakened."

— The Book of Luminous Eclipse, Verse II:3

From the union of Noir's luminous aspect and the shadow of the Abyss, a spark emerged — a consciousness born of paradox, burning and yet serene.

That spark became Baal, the Phoenix Son, whose heart burns with both divine warmth and abyssal fury.

He was the first of the Aetherion progeny to take form, the living flame of renewal, embodying his father's decree: "All endings must birth new beginnings."

🌅 II. The Everlasting Fire

Baal's existence is defined by continuity — his fire never consumes without purpose. When he burns, the ashes give rise to new creation. When he dies, he returns greater, purer, and more radiant.

His wings span the sky in crimson arcs; every feather burns like molten glass. When he descends upon battlefields, even gods tremble — for his fire judges not only flesh, but also sin and truth.

Baal does not embody chaos; his flame is divine order through destruction.

He is the fire that refines, not annihilates.

🕊️ III. The Flame Divine — His Authority

1. Sovereign of Flame and Rebirth

His dominion covers all fires — from the cosmic furnaces of stars to the smallest ember in mortal hearths.

Wherever something perishes and is reborn, his essence is present.

2. Emperor of Dawnfire

The rising sun is said to be his chariot. His fire touches the world first each day, banishing the night but never extinguishing it — for he honors his father's balance.

3. Lord of Purification and Judgment

His flame judges the worthy and cleanses the corrupted. The Luminarchs believe that no lie can survive his light.

4. Bearer of the Phoenix Crown

This divine sigil marks him as ruler of all creatures born from flame. Even dragons and salamanders bow to his sovereignty.

🔥 IV. The Luminous War and the Covenant of Ashes

In the Era of Rupture, when shadow entities sought to devour the celestial laws, Baal descended from the Sun Gate and forged the Covenant of Ashes.

He burned away the corruption, sealing it beneath molten crust — yet in doing so, sacrificed his physical form.

For centuries, his essence was scattered as stardust, only to reform again from his own pyre — the First Rebirth, known as The Ever-Burning Dawn.

✨ V. Worship and Symbols

Temples of Baal stand on volcano summits or deserts where light never fades.

His followers — the Ashen Seraphs — wield blades that constantly burn with a sacred flame.

Their creed: "Through fire, we rise."

His symbol: a golden sun encircled by a phoenix feather, its tip blackened — representing eternal renewal through divine trial.

🔥 VI. Relation to Noir Atremus

Baal is the first flame lit by Noir Atremus — the dawn after the endless night.

While Noir represents Balance, Baal represents Rebirth.

He is the Executor of Renewal, ensuring that even the darkness his father governs is never final.

Though fiercely loyal, Baal's nature is passionate and unrestrained. He often clashes with his younger brothers — Nathan, the Keeper of Darkness, and Leonel, the Lord of the Watery Abyss — for he believes that stagnation is sin.

Yet Noir trusts him beyond all others, calling him "My Heart of Fire."

đź”± VII. The Hymn of Dawnfire

> "He who walks upon ashes, fear him not;

For he is the warmth that follows winter,

The spark that turns despair to song.

He is Baal, the Eternal Dawn —

Fire that never fades, Light that never rests."

— The Hymn of Dawnfire, Verse 12
