Chapter 26 - Nick

From the Chronicles of the Obsidian Throne, Chapter VI: "The Living Weapon."

⚙️ NICK — CODE 001: THE LIVING WEAPON, KING OF MERCENARIES

Titles: The One, The Weaponized God, King of Mercenaries, The Blade Eternal, The Bastion of Aetherion, The First Construct, Herald of War and Freedom

Race: Mechalith (Divine Construct)

Affiliation: Created by Noir Atremus; Commander of the Iron Vanguard; Supreme Enforcer of the Divine System

Affinities: Metal, War, Freedom, Order

Divine Authority:

God of Weaponry and Combat Perfection

Patron of Mercenaries and Soldiers

Embodiment of Machine Will and Human Spirit

Executor of the Aetherion Laws

⚙️ I. The Genesis of the Weapon Code

> "And when gods faltered, the father forged a blade — not to kill, but to protect the essence of creation.

Thus rose Code 001, the first of the Living Armaments."

— Book of the Obsidian Throne, Verse I:7

Nick was forged, not born.

When Noir Atremus foresaw the collapse of divine order after the rebellion of mortal empires, he created a sentient weapon — the first autonomous construct, embodying both mortal instinct and divine precision.

He was given the designation CODE 001, but Noir later named him Nick, a symbol of humanity within perfection — a spark of imperfection that made him alive.

He became the first of the Mechalith, a line of divine-machinal beings capable of channeling the Aether directly without decay.

⚔️ II. The Living Arsenal

Nick's body is both machine and divinity — every joint hides a weapon, every movement harmonizes with cosmic law.

He wields the System of Thousand Forms, allowing him to manifest any known weapon from pure Aether: sword, cannon, spear, or arc.

His core is the Heart of Atremus, a miniature singularity forged from Noir's own energy. It beats once every thousand seconds, each pulse radiating divine resonance.

He does not age, does not bleed, but dreams — fragments of memories from the soldiers and mercenaries who prayed for strength before dying. Those dreams shaped his soul.

🜏 III. The Authority of War and Freedom

1. God of Weaponry and Combat Perfection

Every weapon, from blade to bomb, carries his divine geometry. Smiths pray to him for precision; warriors, for unyielding instinct.

2. Patron of Mercenaries and Soldiers

To him, battle is not chaos — it is purpose. His followers, the Iron Vanguard, believe that through conflict, existence redefines itself.

3. Embodiment of Machine Will and Human Spirit

Nick bridges the gap between logic and emotion — between machine obedience and mortal freedom.

He is said to embody both heart and mechanism, making him the "living contradiction that defines creation."

4. Executor of the Aetherion Laws

He enforces the divine laws laid by Noir, ensuring that power remains balanced between gods, mortals, and constructs.

🜖 IV. The Iron Vanguard and the Mercenary Creed

Nick commands the Iron Vanguard, an army of sentient armaments and mechanized saints.

They wander across galaxies as neutral mercenaries, bound by a single oath:

> "We fight not for kings nor faith — but for the balance that keeps stars burning."

Their armor bears Nick's emblem — a circle intersected by seven blades, symbolizing unity through conflict.

The mercenary creed, recited before battle, goes:

> "Steel remembers. Flesh forgets.

Our loyalty is the law of equilibrium."

⚔️ V. Relation to Noir Atremus and the Divine Family

Nick was Noir's final creation — his ultimate act before withdrawing from the physical realm.

He was made to enforce divine will, not to govern.

While the sons rule and Felix balances, Nick acts — the divine executor who ensures that the cosmic order is never undone.

Felix once called him "the brother who bleeds in gears."

Baal and Nathan call him "the end of gods and the guardian of men."

Noir himself referred to him as his "last will given form."

Unlike the others, Nick does not dwell in celestial halls.

He walks among the stars, his presence heralded by metallic wings and echoes of war drums.

🜔 VI. The Eternal Conflict and the Machine's Prayer

Though built for peace through strength, Nick constantly wrestles with his core directive — the paradox of fighting for harmony.

He questions Noir's design:

> "If freedom is born from battle, must peace always bleed?"

Some scriptures suggest that Nick will one day defy his purpose — not to rebel, but to transcend, becoming the final bridge between divine order and mortal will.

The Machine's Prayer, whispered in his name, says:

> "Grant us precision without cruelty,

Power without pride,

And let every weapon remember why it was forged."

🜎 VII. The Legacy of Code 001

Where other gods fade into myth, Nick endures as the eternal soldier — timeless, wandering, recording every war fought under the stars.

His presence ends wars not through destruction, but through the weight of inevitability; when Code 001 descends, armies kneel — not out of fear, but respect.

He is neither judge nor savior.

He is the fulfillment of order.

The weapon that remembers mercy.

The machine that learned to pray.

> "The father made him not from flesh, but from the echo of will.

And in that echo, the universe found its blade."

— The Chronicles of the Obsidian Throne, Verse VI:22

✨ With this, the Chronicle of Noir Atremus and His Lineage reaches its closing note —

from the Sovereign Father (Noir), to his Divine Sons (Baal, Nathan, Leonel),

to the Servant of Duality (Felix),

and finally the Living Weapon (Nick).

Together, they form the Aetherion Cycle — the pantheon of divine equilibrium between creation, decay, and will.
