"Take em down hard ! No mercy !"
The Genomorphs charge while the guardian pushes a button, sounding the alarms on.
Robin jumps in front, throwing a smoke bomb to block visuals, and charges ahead to take down one with a roundhouse kick. Kid-Flash ironically showcases his acrobatics as he leaps onto a light stand above and drops a kick onto another Genomorph.
Guardian jumps into the fray, attacking Kaldur, before Aqualad's tattoos start to glow and emit an electric shock, temporarily neutralizing the Guardian.
During the few seconds of respite, Leon moves with incredible speed, performing a spinning double low-kick to the staggering foe, knocking him down. Whilst the guardian falls, Leon delivers a left hook straight at the guardian's face, knocking him completely unconscious.
Raven does her part, using her shadow tentacles to drag all the Genomorphs together in one spot before slamming them down hard on the ground.
As the alarms blared, more Genomorphs came after them, leaving the protégés busy.
Kid-Flash retreats back to see Robin hacking into a door's interface, "Way to be a team player, Rob!"
"Weren't you right behind me?" smirks Robin.
After the door opens, it turns out to be an elevator, and the rest of the team narrowly manage to enter before getting mauled.
They notice the elevator is going down.
Aqualad: "We're headed down?"
"There's more floors?" asks Raven.
Leon: "Seems so," with his eyes narrowed.
Kid-Flash: "The way out is up, Rob! Why are we going down?!"
Robin: "Excuse me? Project Kr is down on sublevel 52."
Aqualad: "This is out of control. Perhaps... perhaps we should contact the League," to which they all just stare at each other in silence.
Leon: "Good, you guys do that while we look 'round the place," he says as the elevator opens to a grotesquely looking place with walls which seem to be made up of flesh, looking eerily red.
As Leon walks ahead with Raven following behind, the trio exchange gazes before Robin runs off to catch up, leaving Kid-Flash and Aqualad.
Kid-Flash: "We are already here," he says before he too dashes forward.
To which Aqualad just sighs and follows as everyone else.
As they walk through the fleshy hall, they face a corridor and a path to the right.
From the corridor, a humanoid Genomorph with huge horns on its head arrives, wearing white clothes similar to a hospital gown.
The Genomorph's horns blare red, and it uses its telekinesis to throw barrels from the side of the hall, which explode, crashing near them.
Leon fires off a Ki beam from his left palm, knocking back the creature, but before he can follow up with the attack, the elevators open again, and the enemies' reinforcements follow.
With no choice left, Raven manipulates the shadows to pick up the barrels and throw them all at the enemy, making a big explosion which gives them time to run to the right hall.
As they escape through the hallway, Kid-Flash, who went ahead because of his super speed, notices a woman in a white gown. However, unable to stop his speed, he slips and accidentally knocks into her, making her fall. Quickly noticing that the door she came through has the words "Project Kr" written in glowing green with big initials, he realizes the door is closing quickly and blocks it from closing using a nearby barrel.
"Quick, come here!" Kid-Flash calls.
As they all enter through the door, Leon kicks the barrel out to close it before turning back to hear Kid-Flash mutter, "Ummm... Guys?" while standing under a huge glass container in the dark.
Kid-Flash turns the lights on with a button, revealing a sleeping figure in the container, with the words "Kr" on the front pane of the glass and the symbol of hope in Kryptonian drawn over the figure's white suit.
