Heavy dust rises from the explosion that occurred, Sirius had done it, he had made an attack that could finish fights off.
The most powerful attack in his arsenal right now.
Sirius kneels down, head ringing and body screaming in pain, everything is in pain.
'Well... taking light beams from a Usurper and not dying is already an incredible achievement... But hell does it hurt.'
Sirius groans to himself, he probably has yet another set of internal bleedings. Musing, he raise his right leg up and propping his hand up on his knees as he look toward the dust-covered battlefield.
The buildings are leveled, the street a terrain of ashes and burns with concretes on the ground, destroyed to mere rubbles.
From the looks of it, [Lightbringer] seem to be the weaker out of the three, if that [Lightbringer] is this strong... how strong is the other two?
They really need to escape right away.
Sirius drags his body, slowly standing up as he walks away from the battlefield. While he know that the sphere was his strongest attack, he is still on the low-end of the Evoker class Blessed.
His attack earlier would be a lethal blow due to the weakened state of [Lightbringer], but he is sure as hell it didn't die.
Sirius drags himself away, constantly glancing back to see if [Lightbringer] is going to come at him.
The dust starts to settle, and a grip holds itself around Sirius' heart.
He's afraid. After all, that single attack was everything he had left.
His mana tank is empty, his armor is gone, his sword is gone, everything in his arsenal is gone due to his mana not being able to keep it going.
All he has left is his boxers and his body.
His body, a paint of bruises and red, another set of internal bleedings back again.
Sirius raise his brows with surprise, he could finally see as the dust settles.
[Lightbringer] is down, but the faint rise and fall of its ribs erased any of his hopes of killing a Usurper class Calamity.
The [Lightbringer]'s upper ribs has a simple hole, a small miniscule hole the size of a basketball.
But... on the back of its ribs, a huge hole could be seen.
Puddle of black blood ooze out of the hole, flowing on the ground it laid on.
The Usurper is close to dying, and Sirius could see it.
He's tempted.
But he knows he can do nothing about it, even if he desperately wants to.
...
Sirius stops on his track.
He could use [Supernova's Crown] and explode another hole to grab the Usurper's Soul and run away.
That is a possibility.
Looking at the Usurper, Sirius shakes his head before chuckling to himself.
'Why would I? All the things I did was simply for my survival and the others… This is enough. I need to escape with the others.'
With that Sirius smiled before turning towards the direction of the street.
BOOM
A loud crash echoes through the battlefield, as if the sound of a horn indicating the start of a battle.
Sirius' eyes widen, he looks back and see yet another rise of the dust, clouding the area near the [Lightbringer].
His heart drops to his stomach.
"Damnit..!"
A powerful wind clears the dust, and a muscular animal with mutated appearance stands tall in front of the fallen light bat.
On its hand, a club with chains attached onto it could be seen, laced with blood.
It lets out a huff, growling at the dying [Lightbringer].
Sirius could see the muscles coiling, tightening as it reaches down to the exposed ribs.
The [Lightbringer] lets out a whimper, looking at its ally.
Its former ally.
The gorilla's hand stretches down and grab onto the Soul, thrusting past the flesh of its partner and into the Soul.
Then, with a simple yank as if simply taking out the plastic bag out of a trash bin, it pulls the Soul out.
The [Lightbringer] lets out a cry, light slowly fading from its eyes as it slowly takes a final breath.
The Soul of the [Lightbringer] rests on its hand, the orb fits with the palm as the gorilla seemingly smile upon seeing the Soul before the Soul slowly fades into the gorilla.
"… Sh*t."
[Calamity]: [Windtorn Gorilla]
The gorilla lets out a roar, wind blasting through the terrain. Its roar shakes the terrain itself, the earth shudders underneath its exclamation, the euphoric feeling it feels as of now.
Sirius clicks his tongue, his instinct running full speed as he quickly run towards the street and into an alley, hiding himself.
The gorilla stops, it looks around in caution as it eyes the surrounding.
Finding nothing weird, it lets out a huff before it suddenly whips its head to the side.
A thundering boom echoes, depression forming on each of its step.
The minotaur, a towering figure with an axe dragged across the ground. Small buildings crumble under the weight of its feet before turning into rocks, as if being in the presence of the minotaur was enough to turn something into rocks.
The gorilla point its club against the minotaur before letting out a battle cry.
It dashes towards the minotaur like a human, only bigger with lots of furs covering its body.
Then, it grabs onto a part of the chain before whipping it forward, the club is easily thrown like a bullet as it flies towards the minotaur.
The minotaur raises one of its arm, trying to catch the club.
But instead, the club, powered with the kinetic energy of the swing and added with the power of the wind coming from the gorilla smashes against the hand.
The rocks that protects the palm shatter upon the force of the club whip, the sickening sound of flesh being meshed and destroyed could be heard as the minotaur lets out a loud roar.
The gorilla smirks, letting out roars of ecstacy before jumping onto the minotaur and throwing a knee right towards the armored chin of the minotaur.
BOOM
A loud thundering boom echoes, flesh and bones crunch, a brutal fight the magnitude of titanic proportions.
Sirius looks at the fight, his mind flashing across an old movie he watched.
Now, what was considered a fiction is happening in his life, happening right in front of his eyes and he could see it happening.
The minotaur regenerates the rock armor that protected its chin as it lets out a roar before grabbing the shoulder of the axe with its right hand while the left hand is on the grip.
It throws the axe up to the air by using its right hand, while the left keeps a tight grip.
As the axe slowly rotates down, the minotaur lowers the right hand from the shoulder to right above the left hand as it slams downward.
The gorilla, already acting right before it even threw the axe up was accumulating wind as it jumps up.
Using the power of the wind, the gorilla alters the course of the downward slam towards the side of the gorilla, narrowly missing the gorilla.
While the gorilla, taking the chance, jumps up with the accumulated wind and the strength coiling its muscle.
BOOM
The ground underneath the gorilla explodes, shattering the terrain like a cracked window, and the crack expands like a web.
The axe meets the ground, with the strength of the minotaur and the mere size of the axe and kinetic energy was enough to simulate a small magnitude earthquake.
Sirius could feel it, due to the fact that he wasn't moving fast enough to get away far from the battlefield.
Buildings shake, dust explodes outward, and the shockwave, the sound of the smash echoes like thunder.
Unfortunately for the minotaur, the attack missed the target, and the gorilla swings up the club using the chains as it whips the club upward.
Combined with the power of the wind and the swing, the club could only be seen like a blur.
Once again, the strike landed, not even leaving any rocks as the rocks crumble, shattering into dusts as the club meets the chin.
Flesh dent, muscles destroyed, bones cracking, but the minotaur was strong, durable enough to endure the power of the smash.
The minotaur's hand moved, stretching and grabbing onto the gorilla.
It tilt its head down and quickly lean in to bite onto the gorilla.
A loud crack ensued, the gorilla wasn't fast enough to dodge due to being midair and having just thrown an uppercut, being in motion.
The gorilla roars inside the mouth of the minotaur, while it wasn't fast enough to get out of the way of the minotaur's hand, it was fast enough to throw both of its hands to the side, thus stopping the minotaur from chomping off its torso.
Then, a powerful burst of wind explodes, forcing the minotaur to open its mouth as the gorilla grab onto the fingers of the minotaur and cracks them before prying them away.
Powerful bursts of wind, akin to a small tornado as it attracts and repel at the same time, shredding the rocks.
The minotaur finally lets go, groaning and roaring as it summon humongous rock spears that aimed at the gorilla.
But the gorilla was swift, dodging left and right, back and forth.
Sirius could only watch from the distance, his mind shutting off as he simply watch the two titans fight.
"... Insane."
Sirius mutter to himself, watching the scene.
