Arriving at the mall where they were supposed to go shopping. The trio walked in to the clothing section and ready to pick their outfits
"Xinyan. Pick anything you want. I gat you covered" Yumo said. Lu Xinyan looked at sister for confirmation which she did by nodding at him.
"Alright then. I will take everything I want" he said looking at the limited edition sneakers but he still didn't dare to take it. He remembered how his friends has bullied him calling him a poor guy who can't afford some basic necessities like shoes and stuffs but he never dared to complain to his sister cause he knew she was going to feel so much worse than him.
"Sister in law. Why isn't Xinyan picking anything?" Leng Yumo asked
"Maybe he hasn't seen something he wants" Lu Jingyan assured Leng Yumo as she herself was also in the same predicament as her younger brother who also don't know if she should really take it or not.
Leng Yumo's phone rang as she looked at the caller and smile
"Sister in law. I am going to pick this call and come back" Leng Yumo said as she walked away to receive her phone call
"Sis. Do you really think we should pick the items?" Xinyan asked and she immediately know that was what's going on in his mind
"I don't know. I am also in the same predicament as you are. But since grandma wants us to take it I think taking a thing or two isn't going to harm us" Lu Jingyan said
"Alright then. I will take the stuffs I need" he said. Lu Jingyan smiled as she looked at the dress she had admired. As she wanted to reach out to it someone grabbed it first. She looked at the person who took the took the dress and saw it was non other than Cheng Ciao and Li Man. She closed her eyes knowing they would get back at her for what Mei Xiaotong did to them in the coffee shop
"Yan Yan. You are here?" Li Man asked in a loud voice to attract audience, as she also indicated the mall is not in her league
"Hello. Li Man. Cheng Ciao" Lu Jingyan greeted.
Cheng Ciao looked at her hand and saw the dress she had picked she knew Lu Jingyan wanted this dress but she wanted to show her who the boss is. She remembered how Mei Xiaotong had embarrassed her in front of everyone in the coffee shop and now she would publicly embarrass Lu Jingyan in front of people in the mall
"Lu Jingyan. Don't tell me you are here to shop?" She asked "I mean with you father's pending treatment fees, do you still have enough to be here? I mean there is a street stall down the street you can chose the clothes from there" Li Man said
"Li Man" Cheng Ciao called and smiled at Lu Jingyan. "Jingyan. Don't take it to heart. Man Man was just trying to care so you won't spend too much money when you can take care of your father" Cheng Ciao said sounding like she pitied her but instead picking on her
"Mind your own business" Lu Jingyan said
"What did you mean? All our Ciao Ciao wanted to do is care for you so you won't be spending too much. So why do you ask her to mind her business?" Li Man asked
"Me being here is non of your business. Or me buying things is non of your business after all this money isn't yours" Lu Jingyan said
