📘 Chapter 7
After taking down three wild wolves, a bright light appeared above Lena Morgen's head, and her level reached 2.
"Congratulations on leveling up! You've gained 5 attribute points and 1 skill point. Please open your personal panel to allocate them."
Lena opened her personal panel, which had four attributes: Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Luck.
After some thought, she decided to allocate her points to Agility and Luck.
Next, she opened the skill panel, which contained ten pirate-exclusive skills.
She scrolled down the skill panel and discovered that she could even change her profession upon reaching Level 15.
After changing professions, there would be three additional professions and their corresponding exclusive skills.
"There's even a profession change system, my darlings! What should I do? I'm so eager for this game to have more content so I can immerse myself in this world."
@SeaDreamer: "I'm coming to join you, Leni Sis! I just placed my order."
@WaveRider: "I ordered it too, and it's downloading now. I'll be able to play in a few hours."
Many players were already eager to join this world and even take a photo with Lena in the game.
Lena looked at the skill panel and chose the Flintlock Shot skill.
"Flintlock Volley Lv.1": Fire two consecutive shots, each dealing 90% damage. Unlock Triple Shot upon reaching Level 5.
Corresponding to this was also a "Crescent Scimitar Lv.1": Swing a scimitar to attack enemies in a 180-degree arc in front, dealing 80% area damage.
The personal panel also displayed Health and Stamina. Using skills required a certain amount of Stamina.
She could change her personal avatar, and below the avatar, there was a customizable personal signature and a title.
Lena opened the signature page and wrote: "Everyone, come play! This game is really good."
Next, she opened the title page, where only two titles were available.
"Drowner": Anyone who drowns can obtain this common title.
"Pioneer Player": An exclusive title obtainable only by the first one hundred players to purchase the game. Thank you for your love for the game.
Exclusive titles are highly sought after by many gamers, and now they could be obtained simply by pre-ordering.
Many players saw this title and immediately opened the Steam Platform to place an order; they didn't want to miss out on this exclusive title.
Lena chose Pioneer Player.
Immediately, the colorful title of Pioneer Player appeared above her head, adorned with a seven-color rainbow and twinkling stars, making it very beautiful.
It was very attractive to female players.
Then, Lena picked up her flintlock and continued hunting wild wolves.
With the new skill, her monster-hunting speed was indeed much faster.
Soon, she had collected 10 intact wolf hides and arrived at the general store.
The owner was very satisfied and gave her 5 gold coins as a reward. With a flash of golden light, she leveled up again.
Her leveling speed was faster than she had imagined.
Just then, a few pirate NPCs walked by on the street, whispering to each other.
"When is that Jack guy coming back? He owes me thirty gold coins and still hasn't paid."
"Jack, huh? Well, you can rest assured, he'll never pay it back. His reputation is well-known; I can't believe you still lent him money."
These two did not have quest icons above their heads.
So Lena walked up to them and tried speaking into the microphone.
"Hello, may I ask who Jack is?"
In Lena's opinion, this might be a hidden quest.
She had expected the two to ignore her and leave, but to her surprise, they actually stopped.
They turned their heads and said, "What? You don't know Jack? That guy has recently risen to fame, turning Royal Port upside down."
"I hope he gets caught by the navy, so I can visit him in prison, ah haha!"
What was Royal Port? Lena was completely bewildered.
The two left after speaking.
At this moment, an exclamation mark popped up on Lena's interface. Clicking on it revealed a character roster panel.
This panel would record some important NPC characters.
The first one was Captain Jack, and there was no related avatar, just a question mark.
Below it was a brief description: You heard the rumor about Jack for the first time. This guy seems to be very disliked.
Lena didn't care who Captain Jack was. What surprised her was that after she spoke, the two NPCs actually stopped and interacted with her.
She even wondered if this was a game world; it felt as if these NPCs could understand what she was saying.
Subsequently, Lena continued to accept quests, hunt monsters, and level up.
Until seven in the morning, Lena stretched lazily.
"My darlings, I'm finally Level 10! I have 199 gold coins now, but I'm really sleepy. After I wake up, I'll buy a ship, and we can go sailing together!"
@HealthFirst: "Leni Sis, get some rest soon!"
@CareCrew: "Your health is most important!"
@StreamWatcher: "Go to sleep quickly! I still want to watch your stream when you wake up. This game is so satisfying to watch!"
@ImmersionKing: "Yes, it's an immersive game! I call it the strongest!"
"Bye-bye, my darlings, see you tonight!"
Lena waved and ended her stream.
However, her viewers were wide awake; they had learned about this game through her live stream.
@ImpulseBuyer: "No way, I have to buy a copy too!"
@SeaBrothers: "Brothers, wait for me! I want to catch up to Leni Goddess and strive to go on a sea adventure with her!"
@OceanSoul: "This is the game I've always wanted. My father was a sailor, and I've loved the sea since I was little."
@SpecCheck: "I'm going to place an order. I wonder if my computer can run it."
At this time, Matthias Engel was sound asleep.
After uploading the game, he waited for two hours, and the sales volume was still three copies.
He finally couldn't fight off the drowsiness and fell into a dream.
He slept until ten in the morning, stretched, and felt his eyes were swollen.
He had been staying up late making the game, and his body was a bit tired. This sleep revitalized him.
After washing up, he eagerly opened his computer.
He wanted to see what his sales volume was.
"I hope it sells about ten copies. After all, it's the first day. Once word of mouth spreads, sales should pick up."
He calmly opened the backend page.
The sales figure made Matthias gape.
Seven thousand copies!
"No, wait, I'm not seeing things, am I?"
Matthias rubbed his eyes, feigning composure.
Looking at the screen again, the sales had increased again: seven thousand and sixty copies.
"What happened?"
Matthias was completely bewildered. Logically, word of mouth shouldn't have spread so quickly overnight.
It would also require a period of consumption and conversion.
So he opened a short video app.
After a few swipes, he found it.
It was a clip from Lena Morgen's game live stream, showing her at Level 1, rowing a boat out to sea, and then a big wave came and drowned her in the ocean.
The comments were uniformly filled with laughter and "666," and the live stream's effect was surprisingly good.
He glanced at the number of viewers in the live stream; there were tens of thousands watching.
This clip had over three thousand likes, which was already quite good.
The effect of the live stream, coupled with the leaked clips, was why so many people were buying his game.
end of chapter and give me your stone and i am trying to be consistence so please wait
