It had been a week since she met the Gardner's children and to be very honest, she felt like the luckiest person in the world to have met them.
She had told Levi everything, leaving no details out.Levi had agreed to help her out, taking her in as part of the family. Adding another member into the family was going to be hard as hell but it would be good if she made herself useful, but with her condition there wasn't much she could do to help so he had to think everything through.
After thinking about it, he decided that he would help Clover get rid of the baby and he'll take full responsibility for it.
The child couldn't be born for several reasons: firstly, it was a result of incest, which was already fucked up in it's own way.
Secondly, Clover was only fifteen. She was a child and couldn't bear the responsibilities of being a mother.
Thirdly, she didn't have anywhere to go and didn't have anyone right now, even if she did she didn't want to go. It was already hard enough adding her to the family, now he had to take the responsibility of taking care of her child also. So it had been decided.
"Clover!" He said, immediately he walked through the front door. He just came back from his workplace.
"Clover is making dinner in the kitchen." Becca said while knitting up sweaters that would be used to preserve them in the upcoming winter. Since they didn't have much money for extra expenses, as their brother was already working his ass off for their basic bills like electricity bill, water bill and gas bill. Then, added with their fees in school, although their tuition was free they were still other things that needed to be paid.
If not for the fact that their parents had a lot of money in their savings that was used to clear all of their debts and then the house they owned they had finished paying for the mortgage, they would have been in ruins or sent to live with other relatives.
They weren't in close contact with their other relatives because their mother was Irish and his father had cut all ties with his family in Las Vegas.
They chose to settle down in Virginia, Minnesota and build their life there together with their children. They were happy and comfortable, until the unfortunate accident in September 13th, 2011.
It has been two years since then and Levi had been managing the family all on his own.
Luckily, their father was smart enough to write a will, stating that his property should be handed to Levi. Then with their massive savings and the little debts which took maximum of 20% of what their parents had left for them, life was made slightly easier for them.
The savings was used to take care of his siblings fees. Then the money he earned from work took care of the bills, food, clothing and other minor things.
"Okay." He went straight to the kitchen.
"He seems to be in love with her." Becca said after Levi left the living room.
"I wouldn't say so. Levi's just kind and loves helping people in need. If you were in his position, wouldn't you do the same?" Reggie said, while playing with a yoyo.
"I would." Becca answered.
"Then you should be happy with the fact that you have someone you can relate with." Becca smiled. Reggie was absolutely right, it was kinda boring being the only girls around.
"Yeah, you're right."
Reggie and Becca had inherited red curly hair from their mother, which complimented their hazel eyes. Levi had straight black hair, which was usually scattered because he didn't really have the time to take care of it.

.
"Clover!" The moment she saw him, her face brightened up. She saw him as her savior, who had help change her fate.
"Levi!" She smiled at him and then he smiled back. "Welcome back. I made potatoes and sauce, you should change out of your work clothes and come and have dinner."
"It smells really nice. I hope it's as good as it looks."
"Well... You'll have to taste it yourself."
"I want to tell you something important. "
"Can't it wait till after dinner?"
"You're right, it can. Lemme go freshen up then." He decided to wait till after dinner. He didn't want to say something that will upset, which could make her skip dinner.
"Alright then, I'll go get the twins."
