Chapter 3 - AUNT AND SOPHIE

Ding, ding, ding. The bell rang louder and louder each time. "Come on, can't you just wait?"

Soon the bell stopped and a maid approached me."Sir, your cousin is here. She wants to meet you."

Oh, that stupid girl. Why does she keep on irritating me and my bad luck that she's in my section. Sophie Gail. I was so lost in thinking, I forgot to reply.

"Sir," she said, snapping me back to reality."Yes, I'm coming down," I said. "Sure, sir," said my maid and went away.

I don't even remember their names. Of course, Sophie appointed them, so I never bothered to ask.

"Are you dead or what?" Sophie shouted in anger. I peeked down. She was totally frustrated by waiting for so long. Actually, it's good to see her frustrated.

"No, just talking to some souls around," I replied sarcastically."Then just ask those souls to take me away," she replied."Why don't you go on your own? Why bother them?" I replied, pointing towards the door.🤣

"Listen, Lucy, I know you don't like me being around, but I have some serious issue to talk about. "Wait, what? Who's Lucy?"🤣 I asked, totally controlling my frustration and anger."Come on, don't be a baby, of course you are Lucy," she replied laughing like a monster."Shut up, just say whatever you want to," I said in anger, but she kept on laughing. Seriously, why am I controlling, I should just slap her.

What the hell girl.

"okay, yeah," she said, "Lucian, this is about mom." She replied, slowly her tone became serious.

"Aunt, is she okay?" I asked. She went silent. "Answer, come on Sophie, say…" I asked. "She is seriously ill. Doctor said she might not get up easily," Sophie replied. I could see her totally controlling herself from crying. She is not like this, she is not the same, she is strong, she does not cry easily.

"Hey, it's okay, shh, don't cry. Tell me, where is aunt admitted?" I asked gently, not willing to hurt her. "She is in the Wenming hospital at the Cross Red Street. "

Yeah, no doubt, it's the best hospital in the city.

"Come here and take her in the guest room and serve her properly," I ordered my maid pointing towards Sophie.

I took my car keys and moved down to the garage. I actually had three cars, but I chose a simple one. After riding for two hours, I reached Cross Red Street. Across the street was a long and tall building, the Wenming hospital.

I parked the car in the basement. I went straight to the reception." Where is Mrs. Stepha Gail?" I asked. "Sir, can you please inform us, who you are?" asked the girl in uniform sitting at the reception. "I am Lucian Valle, nephew of Miss Stepha," I replied. "Mr. Valle, we are honored that you are at our hospital. She is in room 80, floor 3," she replied. "Fine, thank you," I replied forcing a smile. I adjusted my coat and moved toward room 80, 3rd floor. Finally, after a long walk.

"Wait, who is there? I have seen this guy…" Yeah, he is Sophie's dad, this monster. No, he will harm aunty.

I ran towards him, pushing him, he almost fell, but a man wearing coat and tie with black pants and a black cloak-type of thing held him. "Are you okay Mr. Gail?" he said, looking at the monster and then towards me, like he will eat me up as soon as he gets the chance.

How stupid! Probably he is a lawyer.

"Security! Escort him out!" I shouted, pointing towards the man, or may I say, my monster uncle. "Sir, are you sure?" asked one man from the security team."We can't," said another."Oh! Who are you? And what authority do you have to try throwing my client out?" That lawyer asked me, like trying to humiliate me.

"Authority? Ha! Leave it, Mr. Stephen. Let's focus on the papers. He is a child. He is still an 11th grader, probably acting recklessly," the monster uncle replied.

"Stop it!" I shouted, almost at my peak voice. "Who the hell are you, child?" That lawyer held my collars and pulled me hard.

"Lucian Valle," I replied.🔥

The whole staff, security, lawyer, and machines went silent. It seemed like I was taking part in a funeral.

"Mr. Valle? You?" the lawyer said. "Let's talk later, Mr. Gail. See you," he said to the monster. He walked. No! He ran out of the hospital.

I adjusted my coat and moved forward into the room...
