Azariah stood in a humongous room behind Alyssa and the main cast. Next to them also stood the whole class as Evangeline stood at the forefront.
"This is your weapon storage. Almost every kind of tool is available here at your disposal for training, so make sure to choose one wisely," Evangeline advised them.
She was right.
"Make sure to not damage any property or weapon. These are only provided to you for training, not for entertainment purposes."
Just like the other students, Azariah took in the sight before him. Thousands of weapons were displayed before him.
On the wall, on the table, on the ceiling, etc. All of them were protected by a thick sheet of glass, probably Cranium.
These weapons, though not rare, had been built by some of the finest blacksmiths across the country.
They were protected for a reason.
Though weapons were not required for a Synapth to protect himself, they were still a major necessity.
Magic sequences, even automated from your terminal, took at least several hundredths of a second to load up the sequence.
In crucial battles, such a time difference could mean the difference between life and death.
This was why any good Synapth would also be proficient in weapons for combat.
"Pick any weapon of your choosing and meet me in the practice ground."
As she completed her words, Evangeline disappeared from the room, leaving them all alone.
Azariah didn't need to see what weapons the main cast would choose.
He already knew by heart.
Anatasia with a staff.
Igor with a hammer.
Rosalia with a spear.
Victor with a gauntlet.
And then he saw Alyssa proceeding to take a bow from the cabinet as well.
Seeing everyone done with picking their weapons, Azariah's gaze now shifted to one of the few that hadn't picked yet.
Surprisingly, it was the MC. Yvan Percival was still yet to pick a weapon.
And Azariah knew why as well.
'Multiple elemental user.'
Yes, that was one of the few huge perks Yvan had as the MC — the only known character in the world with multiple kinesis paths.
And that's what made a problem for Yvan as well.
He was now unable to choose which weapon to pick for all his respective elements.
For example, Anastasia had picked the staff to enhance her magical prowess while learning combat as well.
She had no reason to pick a sword or dagger, as her role wasn't suited to frontline fighting.
In Yvan's case, unfortunately, he had multiple elements, so he had to choose a weapon that suited them all perfectly.
Thankfully, Azariah didn't need to wait long to see him decide. And to no surprise, Yvan went ahead and picked up a katana.
It was an interesting choice for Azariah. In the game, it was up to the player which weapon to pick according to the role you planned to pursue.
So here, it was completely random. Why was Azariah not surprised? It was because for the elements Yvan possessed, it was the best weapon for him.
And the former didn't take long to realize it either.
Now, the real question was…
What weapon had the previous Azariah trained with?
Coming into this world, he had no memories whatsoever of the previous Azariah.
Not to mention the kinesis paths. They gave him no clue as well.
Fortunately, Azariah was already a step ahead in this regard.
He tried to resist a smile from appearing on his face just from the thought of it.
Finalizing his choice, Azariah quickly moved.
To the miscellaneous section.
The whole training range was enough to leave Azariah speechless.
He had never taken much thought about the things he used to design or that were designed by his team.
And yet, as he saw the whole facility equipped with all kinds of shooting grounds, training buddies, etc., it left a sense of pride in him.
At the forefront stood Evangeline as well.
"Now that we're here, I'm sure most of you are in awe, staring at this training centre."
Almost instantly as her voice spread, silence automatically fell among the students.
Azariah saw some male students staring at her temptingly, almost like her simps.
"Man, she's so hot."
"I know, right? Just making contact with her makes my mind start to melt."
….
Well, what could Azariah say? These kids were close in age to 18–20, so there was no use trying to hide it.
For now, he had to focus on the task ahead.
"Please proceed to your respective training areas and start training. You all will be monitored for the progress you are making with your training," Evangeline explained, pointing to the rooms behind her.
The first one to immediately move was Alyssa, surprisingly.
She took her bow and arrows, strapped against her shoulders, and immediately disappeared.
Since this was a training centre with Evangeline already present, there was no need for Azariah to follow her.
Besides, he wanted to test out his own weapon and abilities as well.
'Especially that Pixelation ability.'
As the students dispersed, Azariah was the first one to take the opportunity as well.
Within a minute, he was already under his training dummies.
It was finally time to find out what these new abilities were about.
Unfortunately for Azariah, that had to wait, as someone else popped up beside him a minute later.
It was none other than the same man who had been trying to avoid him yesterday.
Yvan Percival.
I'm so sorry! I'm really busy with academy and college exams nowadays, so the schedule is so off, and I can never really provide at a guaranteed time.
Sometimes I come home late, so the upload really gets late, and I apologize for that! I guarantee you these issues will go away soon.
That said, I hope you all are enjoying the novel till now! Thanks for your continuous support!
And yes, a shorter chapter today because I'm extremely tired.
Thanks for bearing with me! I love you all!
