Chapter 9 - Into the Dark Sea Universe

Miya stepped into the universe through [Portal Creation]. She noticed the gate, and had stepped through to completely enter the large city of the Dark Sea Universe.

The temperature was abnormally cold. So cold that it can freeze a normal human within a few minutes. Miya is a special case. Due to her infinite adapatability, she won't be freezing in this realm.

Miya had stepped foot into Deathpond City, in which causes an impenetrable barrier to come up, trapping anyone who enters inside.

She started walking around. Low class (level) creatures notices her. Their aggression increased drastically as they attack, but then Miya uses her [Creation] skill to create a sword that is imbued by light magic.

Miya notices the low class creatures, then proceeds to slice them in half with ease.

The low class creatures turned into ashes. Miya started roaming through the Dark Sea Universe and its city. The atmosphere made her shiver due to the eeriness.

"Country level threats my ass... they're weak as hell.. or maybe I just got immensely stronger." says Miya as she murmured to herself quietly.

She then walks around the dark environment, and as she roamed around, she notices some mid class creatures. They were tall, big and absurdly large. They were more powerful than her, being able to wipe out planets.

Miya glances at them as they roars loudly, causing parts of the city to shake violently. Their screams were loud, breaking sound barriers.

They then attacks them with ruthless and aggressive attacks, and as Miya swings, she notices her sword isn't going through. Their skin is tough.

"Tough skin... interesting.. kind of like shells to be honest." she murmured then charges towards them at 19 times of the speed of light.

She swung with more force, then had severed off their arms clean off.

These said creatures were Orcs. They glared st her with more anger as they regenerate, noticing she has yet to reach light speed like they have.

They lunged forward and attacked with claws. Her infinite adaptability kicked in, then sliced their heads off.

The goddess' powers are insane! Her thoughts were surprised sounding as their blood splatters everywhere before collapsing.

Didn't think I'd attain her infinite adaptability this early in my journey to find my way home... her thoughts were still in shock as she roamed around the Deathpond City.

A fragment crystal was in a special location within the Dark Sea Universe. It was in a place known as the Sanctuary of Memories. The Sanctuary of Memory is located in the center of the Dark Sea Universe.

Miya had continued walking through the city. The city had looked like it goes on infinitely the more she walked.

"So tiring... this place feels like it goes on infinitely." she murmured to herself as she continued down the crimson red concrete floors.

There were some mysterious auras that had appeared lately. It had felt like they've been there the entire time.

Am I being watched...? If so, I'll have to eliminate them as soon as possible. Their presence are insanely high... so I can see why almost all mages don't come out alive. Miya's thoughts remained calm as she glances around her surroundings.

The mages has to at least be near a god-level threat to even survive this for awhile... Miya remains calm, until the high level demons attacks full of aggression.

She dodges with ease, getting faster as she adapts.

Miya then swings her magic imbued katana, but the high level demons had dodged with ease.

Miya steps back, as they lunged forward with much faster speed. Their speed were immense, so fast they were 2,500 times faster than light speed.

Miya's eyes widened as she sees them attacking, but they weren't mindless at all. They know what they are doing.

Their attacks grazes her as she dodges them, causing her to bleed from her cheek, torso and arms.

Damn! They're too fast... if I don't start thinking of something, I'll definitely die. Her thoughts started to become panicked as she dodging their high speed attacks.

She then swings her katana after imbuing more magic into her katana, which leds to their heads getting deeply cut, but yet, it was shallow.

The high level demons had grabbed her katana and threw her onto the floor, and with its claws, it snapped the blade in half.

She collapsed onto the floor, but then stood back up, and noticed her blade was broken.

Fuck... they're too powerful.. Aurora was right, I'm basically asking for suicide.. just to get stronger.... fuck that! I won't stop until I get home! Her thoughts were filled with regrets, but yet, filled with confidence.

Hours Later...

After hours had passed in the Dark Sea Universe, Miya's struggle was growing more and more, she was more damaged than she was before. Sweat drips from her face, bleeding from her forehead as she pants heavily.

The high level demons, who aren't even panting or losing breath, had towered over her with a confident smirk.

She was on the floor on her knees, and as the demons summoned their dimensional attacks, they sent it downwards, sending multiple large dimensional light beams at her as it starts destroying almost the entire city and higher dimensions.

Smoke cleared up, Miya was already gone. The high level demons blood squirted out as they collapsed onto the ground, dead.

Miya had her katana upwards, palm on the handle and the other hand holding it with the blade upwards. She collapsed as she was out of mana to heal herself.

Damn... too strong... lost so much blood... I only won because of my body infinitely adapting to their attacks, but yet... they almost killed me.. her thoughts were filled with some relief but also regret.

Wake up Miya Katagari. Wake up. You're not allowed to die on me. Not once. Not ever. You will survive not unless I want you dead. The voice echoed through her head.

Miya woke up in an empty, dark, cold and infinite size space. She opened her eyes slowly, noticing where she is.

Where am I...? Miya's thought we're calm, but unsure.

"Hello Miya Katagari." the voice says as it echoes through the empty dark space.

"Who are you?" says Miya, confused.

"I'm you. You from another timeline. Your soul shall stay with me. So even if you end up getting an immediate death, or near death injuries. You won't die. That's because, I'll be here to heal you, no matter the situation. You and I are entirely different entities abd cosmic existences. I transcended over nonexistence and existence, while you, are still mortal gathering fragments of a goddess. I denied that in my timeline." says future Miya as her figure glows in white as her royally and heavenly outfit flows through the dark space.

She wore a white heavenly coat with gold accents, black shirt under, black pants and white boots with black heels.

"Wait... you're me? From another timeline?" says Miya, her eyes widened in shock and surprise.

"Yes. I'd like to talk to you. You understand completely that there are no parallel worlds but infinite timelines and dimensions as well as higher dimensions within the multiverse. I've been using my skill [World Leaping] to travel through the infinite timelines, and you had died in every single timeline. You died too early, died at the final boss, died immediately after reincarnation and so on." says future Miya, calmly.

Miya's eyes widened in shock as she backed up a bit and trembles. The information was new. There were only two timelines that Miya survived, and that was this timeline and the timeline where she became a transcendental being.

"So... i've died countless of times in one timeline? as well as dying in every other timeline besides this and your timeline?" says Miya, completely in shock like she was going to burst into tears.

"Yes. Correct. So now, you'll be bounded to me, until you become a goddess yourself. That's when I can unbind you from me." says future Miya as she puts her hand on her chest, putting a binding contract on her until she becomes a goddess.

"There." says the future Miya.

Miya glances at her chest and looks back up, seeing the future Miya had disappeared like she was never there. She stood there paralyzed, sweating heavily.

She then slowly opened her eyes, seeing she had collapsed on the floor in the Deathpond city. Miya takes a glance at her body, noticing no wounds was there. Like it never happened.

What the—? No wounds? Like they were never there? My future self healed me completely, and now I'm binded to her? That's... comforting but scary to know. Miya sighs in relief, but her thoughts tried to remain calm.

Miya stood up, and went out to find the second fragment crystal in Deathpond city. She roamed around, going through different regions of the city, but yet, she had found nothing, which was when she reached the center of the city.
