Miya had arrived at the center of the Deathpond city, noticing Elite Demon Guards guarding the Sanctuary of Memories.
Hey. Miya. I need you to remember that you survived not because of your infinite adaptability, but because I've been changing your fate and probability. Without me, you would've died long time ago. Your so-called infinite adaptability is a false infinite adaptability. Your adaptability skills are so high that your body can only adapt on a physical level. Also.. there's a special someone you need to meet. says Future Miya as the Elite Demon Guards had disappeared in a blink of an eye.
They were cut in half completely by a sword slash.
Eh? Miya was unsure and confused about what just happened, until the presence behind her was immensely large.
She glanced backwards, noticing a swordsman behind her. Miya stepped back quickly.
"Who are you?" Miya shouts as she remains calm.
"I'm Karlie, pleasure to meet you." her smile was beautiful like Aurora's but her beauty was above Aurora herself.
Karlie glances at her as she stood there, wearing a tuxedo suit with gray high top boots.
"Oh, Miya Katagari, pleasure is mine." she says politely.
"Katagari huh? You're part of the Katagari family? How interesting." says Karlie, hiding her presence completely.
"You know the Katagari family?" Miya asks as her curiosity peaked.
"Yup, did my research and everything. Anyways, let's head inside yeah? I've been told a lot about you." she says as they both walk into the capitol.
Miya nodded as she walks inside with Karlie. When they went inside, they noticed a large room of magical tiles. It was a passcode-like floor.
"Let me do this Miya ok?" says Karlie as she smiles.
Miya glanced at her with safety, then Karlie had started stepping on specific patterns which glow a specific color.
Karlie's beautiful smile stays widened as Miya glanced at her with surprise.
She finishes then Karlie had gestured Miya to follow her as she walked towards the end of the hall.
She's wearing a traditional samurai outfit... assuming she's a samurai in this era of time? She asked herself in thoughts as Miya follows her to the end of the hall.
They both arrived at the end of the hall, opening up a door.
Miya senses the immense power the fragment crystal holds, so she walked towards with it as she sighs in relief.
She took the fragment crystal, and then her presence gotten immensely stronger. Karlie could feel how much power the crystal is giving Miya than the last one.
Miya Katagari... you've grown a lot since you were born. You're one interesting fellow. Karlie thoughts remained calm as she smiles, watching the memories and power being given to Miya.
Miya then stretches, feeling a lot lighter as she walks towards Karlie.
"Thanks for helping me out Mrs. Karlie!" says Miya wuth a smile and full of energy again.
"No need for the honorifics Miya. Just call me Karlie, Karlie Katagari if you will." Karlie smiles more as Miya expression went from enthusiastic to confused.
Karlie... Katagari? Wait, her last name is Katagari?? Is she my mom's sister? How did she end up here! Her thoughts were in shock, but surprised as well.
Karlie chuckles as they both started walking out of the Capitol of Deathpond City.
«Hello Miya Katagari. I'm assuming your interaction with Karlie was... good. Of course it was. I'm all-knowing after all.» Future Miya telepathetically speaks to current Miya as she and Karlie walks out of the capitol.
"Yeah... it's going good so far, but her last name is Katagari like mine, is she related?" Miya murmurs to herself.
«That's for you to find out Miya.. I'll be leaving now. But you're still bounded to me.» Future Miya's voice disappeared completely as Miya lets out another sigh of relief and confusion.
"So Miya, you're bound to an alternate version of you. How interesting. Not only you won't die, but you'll heal completely regardless the situation." says Karlie, being vague of how she knew about her.
"Wait! You know the alternate timeline version of me? Who are you really? Why have you been listening into our conversation?" Miya says while carrying with suspicion on her.
"You'll find out later, but for now, if you're wondering about the fragment crystals, I can tell explain. Each time a goddess or god dies by another deity, they don't disappear or turn into dust completely, but they turn into fragment versions of themselves. They give the person their memories and powers, but is also connected to the places they've been before, but the twist is, each one you collect, you lose your humanity through cosmic fear of each memories and battles they go through." Karlie explains in depth about the crystals as Miya listens carefully.
"So... the crystals are tied to different locations when the goddess or god went too. What about you Karlie? Did you attain any of your crystals?" Miya asks as she was curious, wondering if she had some.
"No, I'm just a samurai who was summoned by a goddess. I was already pretty strong enough to even fight against low level creatures from this place." Karlie adds onto her explanation as she responds to Miya's question.
Miya glances at her, a bit surprised and smiles a bit as they both walked on the hard crimson red concrete floors.
"So how do you know about this place?" says Miya, curious about her and her knowledge on places.
"Well, I came here, which is how I met you. I've been here for years, maybe even a few decades. The infinite sea acts like a sea that holds infinite otherworlds, it's a mildly interesting fact, but not sure if you wanted to know about it." she nervously chuckles as she twirls her hair around awkwardly. Miya glances at her as they both kept walking.
"Wow... that's comforting to know. Otherworlds in a universe? That's something else alrighr.." Miya murmurs to herself.
"Well, I got to go, it's nice meeting you! Stay safe on your journey!" Karlie shouts as she disappeared instantly.
She disappeared so fast, that it was like time and space were irrelevant to her.
Miya then sighs again, but then opened up a portal back to the Physical Realm. She stepped through it and breathes in the fresh air that she missed from staying inside the Dark Sea Universe.
"This is nice... miss being out here." says Miya as she feels the breeze of the air hitting her.
«Miya Katagari. Remember that I change your fate and the probability of your existence.» the Future Miya's voice echoed through Miya's head.
"Yeah I got it me. So protective." Miya murmurs as she sighs.
«I'm just helping you out me. You're always were so adorable since birth.» the voice continues echos through her empty mind.
Miya was flushed, cheeks all red. She was unsure about it and caught off guard from her statement.
"Shut up..." says Miya as she covers her face as she's flustered.
Future Miya sighs as she disappears into the far void. Miya roamed around with her new found abilities.
Karlie watches from above. The Sky Palace. She continues observing as Miya roamed around the land.
Miya notices a tailor shop, and walked through the shop.
Fifteen Minutes Later...
The tailor had finished up Miya's measurements from the chest down. As Miya left the shop with a smile, the tailor waved goodbye.
Miya continued walking through the vast land, then arriving at the spot where she was summoned.
She sighed quietly.
"This is the spot... where I was summoned by a goddess huh? The mountain ranges sure are beautiful here. Nice view too." says Miya as she vanished and reappears on top of the pointy top of the mountain, glancing over the towns and cities from a far.
Miya takes out her camera and takes some pictures of the distance, and makes the photos disappear with a wave of a hand like a magician, now putting it in a booklet.
"Well... this is a start to a new journey with new abilities. I'm hoping I can get far..." Miya murmurs to herself as she disappears in thin air again.
Wind blows across mountains, and blows the leaves off the trees. The dimension then started slowly shaking, not enough for Miya to feel it. It was a small tremble, like a small earthquake.
Miya was hopping from mountain to mountain on foot. She continues hopping through mountains at light speed.
"She's gotten faster... interesting. Maybe you'd be the next candidate of taking my spot as a goddess." says Karlie Katagari as she watches from the Sky Palace.
The Sky Palace is made from clouds in the sky within the Physical Realm, but it can be conceptually moved to any place within the multiverse.
Miya continues hopping, she notices smoke in the distance, and as she arrived, she noticed it was just a grill with barbecue that is being made by Aurora herself with an apron on.
