Chapter 8 - Outer God vs The Transcendent Demon King

In the Demon Realm, the Outer God had stood calmly with no sense of panic or fear in his eyes.

"Well, what's your name Mr. Outer God?" says the Demon King with a smirk.

"I don't like giving my name out to those who hurts others including mortals... so please, I'd mind you if you shut up.." says the Outer God as he already sliced him in half wuth a flick of a wrist instantly.

The Demon King's top half collapsed onto the floor, but as he was on the floor, his lower half had collapsed, aligned perfectly with his top half.

The Demon King then regenerates and stood up.

What an attack... that attack's speed is beyond what I could ever do. Is that why he's an Outer God? No matter... I can regenerate conceptually, so it's fi- his thoughts ended there.

The Outer God had waved his hand, then us using conceptual threads to keep the him still in oke place.

"Move and these threads will kill you..." says the Outer God confidently.

"You're gluttonous behavior over power and souls sre disgusting as well as your greediness over the other demon lords souls... gaining power is your goal to rule over the entire multiverse correct?" says the Outer God calmly, revealing the Demon King's goal.

The Demon King stayed silent and then it turned into a malice smirk.

"You figured me out, although. I shouldn't worry." says the Demon King. He smiles and he raised his hand out.

Without calling out the name or enchanting it with demon magic, it was fired off. The Outer God sighed in disappointment.

With a single leak of his mana, it repelled the attack that was fired, then vanished completely.

"Well, you must have underestimated me. You're facing an Outer God who is far superior to you in every way possible.. and someone who can destroy meta-qualitative frameworks with such ease... and you couldn't hurt me, how predictable. Thinking you can harm and defeat an Outer God as an existence that's on the level of Aurora is pitiful. You're also pretty filled up with wrath." The Outer God explains with a calm and confident expression as he stood there.

"You're not as smart as I am are you...?" says the Outer God as he sighs in disappointment.

The Demon King glanced at him after his rant on how powerful he truly is, but the Demon King had trembled through his rant, knowing he has the power to back up his rants.

"I may not be nigh-omniscient... but no one said I couldn't try to win even with your absurd immortality..." says the Demon King as he mockingly laughs at him.

"Oh, but that possibility is out the window. Did you not listen to what I said? I'm far superior over you in every possible way. That proves my point demons don't listen but assumes... you're all the same." says the Outer God as he gets bored from this fight.

"I'll end this quic-" his sentence was cut off as The Demon King lets out a few demonic energy nukes, causing massive destruction to the Demon Realm.

His attacks were moving so fast, it was beyond linear time. As the smokes cleared up, the Outer God had seemed to vanish.

What the—? The Demon King's bright piercing crimson eyes widened in shock. He feels a sharp pain from his body.

As he looks down, he noticed a large hole in his body, which was dealt from the Outer God.

"How... did you?" The Demon King muttered in agony and pain.

"Your immortality is weak..." says the Outer God as he holds the living source that keeps him alive.

"Without your conceptual source... you'll die completely." The Outer God adds on as he crushes the concept of his source, which then destroys the Demon King.

"You... it seems my cockiness... had got me killed... I acknowledge that and your power..." says the Demon King as he collapses onto the ground, who now had bled to death.

"You've overestimated me, it's such a pity, if you weren't the Demon King then you would've been a lot stronger than you were now..." says the Outer God as he murmured to himself.

The countless demons that are around glanced at him in fear and toom a step back. The demons took a glance at his appearance, and they had thought he was weak.

The Outer God had a child's body in appearance with his bangs parted in the middle. His clothes were heavenly, his heavenly coat flows through the hot air of the Demon Realm.

"Keep looking at me and I'll eradict all of you countless child-like imps as well." he says with calmly but also with a commanding tone in his voice.

They all scurried away quickly, and the Outer God had picked up Miya's unconscious body and opened up a heavenly portal to the Celestial Palace of the Sky.

The Celestial Palace is a place in heaven where God made all of his children's and gifts for all of them.

The Outer God had stuffed Miya into a healing chamber and activated it.

"Miya Katagari... one of the chosen ones by God themselves, although your goddess trait will be different. Someone who seeks peace and will enjoy their life.. most goddess seeks peace, some seeks destruction and power.. that's why we destroy them.." says the Otuer God, knowing Miya is somewhat conscious, allowing her to hear what he said.

Miya's astral body was sent back to her regular body, opening her eyes slowly. She sees she's in a healing chamber and notices the Outer God.

"Broken ribs, and fractured spine and blood loss.. be glad you aren't dead." says the Outer God as he leaves.

Miya glances and notices the air masks she has on and cables on her back attached to her for healing.

I need to get back out there... dammit, how long will this healing chamber take minimum? She asked herself the question in her head as she waited to be fully healed.

A few minutes later...

Miya noticed her body was fully healed and the chamber had deactivated automatically. She has gotten out, and her clothes were wet. As she left the Celestial Palace (separate island in heaven), she notices she's in heaven.

Holy shit, am I dead? Her thoughts questioned it, but didn't jump to conclusion that she was.

She sighed and pinched herself, seeing she isn't truly dead, then opened a portal back to the Physical Realm.

Aurora and the Spirit of Time had came back from the Spiritual Realm.

"Hey Miya, been two days since we've seen you." says Aurora as she was dripping with a serious tone.

"Two days huh? I see, the realms has space and time distorted, so I can see why it's been that long." says Miya calmly.

"Anyways, we figured out where the mysterious race you've fought against to saving those hikers are from, and I'm sure you want to know." says Aurora.

Miya glances at her as she sits down. Aurora looks into her eyes with calmness.

"They're from the realm of the Dark Sea, a universe that is between the dimensional barriers that holds up realms and dimensions and other universes. Apparently it's rumored to be that entering is suicide, the creatures you've fought were low class creatures from there but.. they're powerful enough to destroy an entire country. Their mana level is near infinite so they can use the same magic spell over and over again." says Aurora as she explains to Miya.

"The Dark Sea? Why is it called that exactly?" she asks.

"No one knows but apparently it's known for it's infinite sea that extends out with infinite pathways. Rumor has it, no one has entered and came back out alive. They all died." says Aurora as she adds on.

Miya's eyes widened in a bit of fear and took deep breaths, then remained calm.

"Then, I'll be heading out to the Dark Sea. With my adaptability, I think I can handle it.." says Miya, calmly but also trembling a little with fear.

"The high level creatures there can destroy higher dimensions, and that's not even the few strongest creatures there, you're basically asking for suicide!" Aurora shouts, filled with concern and worrisome, trying to stop Miya from going.

"I think understand what you meant by that I'll become extremely powerful in the future. That fate is now taking me down this path, so I'll do it." says Miya as she sighs and is a bit confident.

"Fine, but come back alive, also you need to change your outfit if you want to go there alone." says Aurora as she sighs knowing she can't stop Miya.

Aurora snaps her fingers, changing Miya's outfit into a suit with a long black trench coat and gray high top boots.

The outfit hugs Miya's body and smiles a bit as she glances at Aurora.

"Thanks, I'll see you soon then? If that ever comes?" says Miya as her smiles widens.

Aurora nodded, then Miya had vanished into thin air. Her movement speed is quick enough to even reach almost light speed.

Aurora watches her leave and stood up.

"She changed a lot... her adaptability is starting to grow immensely to the point, she might even adapt infinitely." says Aurora as she murmured to herself.

She then appeared in the Dark Sea, landing on the black concrete tile floors, and seeing a large amount of land that is surrounded by an infinite sea.

The presence of being there was so terrifying she could already sense the strongest creatures there.

The temperature was abnormally low, so low it can freeze anyone who steps in. Miya wasn't the case though. She stood in the entrance, not frozen, but not fazed by the large land she's about to step in, starting her suicidal journey, to something she will achieve at the end of this mission.
