His smile was beautiful, it had hidden some malice but mostly kindness. Miya couldn't sense his kindness and only his malice from it. It was like Vōniur was keeping his other side hidden via [Magic Control] as well.
His presence... it's undoubtedly one of the few most powerful ones I've felt. It's scary to me.. and overwhelming. Miya's thoughts remained calm as she stood up then jumped from her spot on the moon, causing a large crater due to the amount of force and moon debris flying around, flying towards Vōniur.
Vōniur raised up his hand, summoning hellgates from thin air known as [Eternal Gates]. They were hyperspatial gates that were in a form of ancient magic circles in which they released a large mana beam, not only hitting Miya, but also destroying the entire solar system with one launch.
The smoke had built up from all the planet debris and the sun explosion, and as it all cleared up, Miya had already put up an invisible.
[Defense Magic: Spatial Barrier]
Miya says as she was protected from the blast. She glanced around seeing the entire solar system was completely annihilated and were turned into dust.
"Ah... [Spatial Barrier], one of the skills that Ultimate Goddess had. Such an interesting skill. How beautiful." says Vōniur as his smile widened a bit. He was getting happy and feeling entertained.
What is he...? Without this high-mana level barrier, I would've been turned into dust. But yet, my alternate self is the one keeping me alive... Miya thinks to herself quietly as they both float in space.
"You know what's interesting Miya, I'm finding it interesting how you, a successor of the Ultimate Goddess, is fighting this well. Are you perhaps analytic than a fighter? Perhaps you're both, or are you more than that?" Vōniur asks with interest and curiosity. He stayed three feet away from Miya.
"What do you mean?" Miya asks, her voice carrying confusion.
"I mean, you're not just an analyst nor a combatant. Your potential is immensely high. So, that's why, I shall end you here and now." says Vōniur as he puts out his hand in front of him.
Miya glances at him, confused on what he'll do.
«Be careful, he's going to remove the binding contract between us. Defeat him now, or else he'll remove it, then killing you permanently!» Future Miya shouts telepathetically as Miya's eyes widened in shock.
[Bind Breaker]
Miya lunges towards Vōniur as quick as she could, and is about to swing her magic imbued katana, but then, she felt her contract was broken, separating her and her future timeline self.
Her eyes widened in shock, and had complete understanding on what happened. What she felt was like a rope snapping in half whenever the rope couldn't last long.
Vōniur goes for a knee kick to the stomach, but Miya had avoided it by pushing herself backwards with her hands.
"You're smart. I didn't expect you to last this long. But that's because you had help from your other self in a different timeline correct?" says Vōniur with a smile. He was calm, it worried Miya.
How did he...? So he knows about it. Just now, he used his right hand to break the contract, and left hand to send me up here to space... so what's the pattern here? Miya analyzes as she tries to figure out the pattern of his attacks.
He's op as hell... I'll die if I don- Her thoughts were cut off. She stepped back, feeling a cut of a sharp thread against her torso.
Blood had started gushing outwards from her cut, that could've sliced her in half. Her eyes widened in fear, her eyes twitches.
How the fuck?! How did he do that! A milisecond later, I would've been sliced in half. Only reason I was able to barely avoid it is because I could sense the immense magic that's put behind it. It could literally cut fucking planets into halves! Her thoughts ran wild and were in panic.
Miya stopped six feet's away from him, holding her stomach, feeling all the blood gushing out. It was a deep cut. Miya glanced at him, and noticed he hadn't moved for that attack. She didn't know if it were his glare or his mind.
Can he bring attacks into reality? That attack had no distance movements... nor any speed to it. It was instant. She continued thinking quietly to herself as she continues bleeding out.
"Huh... you dodged that, barely. Not many people actually dodged that. Actually... no one are able to dodge that as distance, speed, space and time doesn't matter. Speed is pretty irrelevant when using it. Magic is what slows it down. Using magic restricts the speed through an attack limiter, which is how you avoided it, just by sensing it's little magic from it." says Vōniur as he continued wore his smile, but he was surprised.
"What...?" says Miya while in agony, feeling all the blood flowing out from her deep wound torso.
"I'm saying if I wanted to, I could've gone ahead and removed all the magic from it, in result of killing you completely." Vōniur added onto his explanation as they both stood there, floating in space.
Miya then coughed up a large amount of blood, then used her healing magic to heal up the wound, but during that healing process, it had stopped. Her wounds weren't closing up.
Miya glanced over at her left arm, noticing it's now floating in the empty space.
She then screams in agony as Vōniur was floating six feet away from her. It was the invisible threads he used to cut open her torso.
His smile faltered and sighed.
"That attack, it's known as [Demon Threads of Darkness], threads that ignores contracts or said connections between the owner and user. When used once, it permanently negates it completely, so creating another bind is useless. The attack limiter I put on it earlier was adding magic to it. More magic means the attack speed would have more power, but would be slower." says Vōniur as he continued explaining his ability.
"So... a deadly weapon... I see.." says Miya as she huffs and pants heavily.
"Also, I could use regardless of any use of movements. I could use it with thoughts, but it isn't automatic. It can also nullify magic completely, and be used in defense to create a barrier." Vōniur adds onto his explanation on the threads.
Her eyes widened with more fear, knowing she can't win, but she'll continue trying. She then uses her healing magic to heal up her torso and regenerating her left arm completely.
Vōniur floats there with a calm demeanor as he lets her regenerate and heal up.
Dammit... how will I beat this guy if I can't move or react to it with no magic at all? Her mind was in panic as she snapped her fingers, using her [Creation] ability to recreate the entire Solar System.
After the recreation of the solar system, her [Creation] ability, was then enhanced and upgraded to [Universal Creator], an ability that now allows Miya to rebuild larger structures like the universe.
Her [Destruction] skill was also upgraded to [Chaos Destruction] which allows her to destroy universes as well.
Vōniur glances at her and noticed her change in abilities.
This is getting interesting... she's getting powerful at any given moment. Her true adaptability skill. [Universal Adaptation]. Vōniur's thoughts were surprised as they both float there, until Miya had lunged forward again, then swung her katana, in which he uses his threads to destroy the blade.
"Not so fast!" Vōniur shouts as Miya had thrusted her broken blade to his torso landing the hit, but he disappeared like mist.
[Domain Type: Mirror of Disappearance]
Space around them and reality started breaking like glass pieces, and then completely shatters.
It was a domain that was a large empty space that is full of mirrors. These mirrors allows Vōniur to reflect any magical attacks when comes in contact, rendering magic useless, but attacking physically allows Vōniur to use the mirrors as damage points on the enemy.
"Welcome to my domain. The Mirror of Disappearance. A place full of mirrors that acts as magic repellent and damage hitters. Each mirror is connected to the body of the enemy, so if I were to break one, it could heavily damage you." says Vōniur as he wears his smile again.
Miya glances at the mirrors which shows herself, but her reflections shows the different parts of her body that could get heavily damaged.
Then I'll be careful what I do... Miya remains calm, but her hands trembles as she's holding her katana.
Vōniur notices her trembling hands and sighs as he waits for her to calm down.
As Miya calms down, she stood there, and charged towards him, but he disappeared into the mirrors. They were acted like portals to an alternate dimension.
Vōniur appeared out of a portal and slams her down, having her body hit a mirror which breaks, in result having her right arm beung heavily damaged and broken.
Miya screamed in agony, as her right arm is completely shattered. Vōniur had stepped off of her and let's her get up.
Miya panted heavily from the pain, and used her healing magic as she takes a deep breath, trying to prepare herself for the worst.
