It was a high level magical snake that slithered out of the dark cave. The body was abnormally long as Miya sat there, glancing at her.
That is a big ass snake! Miya's eyes widened, surprised as her thoughts remained calm about the snake's large appearance.
The snake hisses at her with malice in its eyes as it slithers towards her. Miya sets down her bag full of food and drinks and stood up.
The snake stared into her eyes, having murderous intent. Miya senses the high magic level from the snake, which overwhelms her a bit.
That's.. intense. The snake is huge, could destroy entire city blocks if it were in a city just from its body. Her thoughts were processing the size of it.
As she analyzes the snake, the snake then charges towards Miya with killer instincts like a cheetah hunting down its prey.
She takes a deep breath before making any movements, then waves her hand, creating a forcefield between the snake and herself. The snake rammed into forcefield, and hisses more.
Miya had then summoned a group of fireballs from all directions just from a snap of her fingers. The snake glances around its surroundings, noticing the fireballs, and then she gestures the fireballs, causing them to land on the snake, burning it alive completely.
She stood there, watching the snake burns and sighs in relief.
"It seems I'm adapting fairly quickly. Although... I wonder what's in that dark cave it was hiding in..." she murmurs to herself as she walks into the cave.
She snaps her fingers, lighting up the far cave with fire. Miya walks deeper into the cave, but then noticing a bright rainbow light that lit ended up litting up the entire cave.
The flame in Miya's hand had dispersed and walked towards it.
"Hm? What's this? It looks like a fragment of some sort." Miya analyzes the fragment crystal and picks it up.
After the immediate pick up, her body felt lighter. Her body lit up in a rainbow color as the crystal was still in her hand.
Her eyes widens in shock, noticing her mana level had increased, but there was an important thing she also immediately noticed.
Her memories were being altered a bit, not only keeping her memories, but seeing the different memories. It was like she's seeing things in the point of view of a goddess.
What...? I don't remember these memories... are these perhaps a goddess' memory? Miya's thoughts raced a bit as she continued remaining calm.
The crystal then shatters completely in her hand. She felt stronger.
My mana level had increased, I can now manipulate with different elements now as well with other skills. Have I truly awakened? Her thoughts about awakening confused her. She had no time to process the memories she saw, but also the newly acquired abilities Miya achieved.
Were these abilities transported to me? It seems like the memories and abilities are connected somehow— in a way that these are some of the goddess' abilities. Miya's thoughts were quiet. The idea of a goddess' abilities being moved to her had somewhat peaked her interest.
Miya left the cave, and picked up her bag. She started examining her surroundings, making sure no more creatures appears.
"If these are some of the goddess' abilities... then maybe... flying is possible now?" Miya's question hangs loose above her, unsure about flying.
She then relaxes her body, and the moment she jumps, she was sent upwards at high speeds, creating a sonic boom.
"Woah! This... is amazing! I can see everything from up here, although it's hard to control." she chuckles as she starts learning to fly herself around to find a city.
Miya continues flying around, until she notices some pathways leading somewhere, but didn'f feel like exploring.
After hours of flying, she found a city in the distant as she flies at Mach 18, with wind blowing into her face. She slows down and lands on the floor in front of the city.
"This city is large as hell!" Miya shouts shockingly, that was until she saw citizens were running in one direction.
"Hm?" she glances at the direction everyone else was running in and goes to check it out.
"Everyone's running away, but from what though?" she sighs confused as she continues walking.
As she walked, a loud explosion occurred few miles ahead. It startled Miya as the explosion looked big enough to the affect and destroy part of the city.
She started running over to the smokey area, just to see a slender woman with white angelic wings.
Angelic Wings? She's definitely an angel then... her thoughts remained quietly.
The angelic woman glances at her and had a smile hiding her intentions. Her presence and mana level was immensely high that it leaked out.
Immediately, Miya could sense the evil intentions from her and her mana. It was more overwhelming than the ones she had fought against.
I can also sense malice intentions from her... interesting ability that this goddess have... Miya analyzes her as the woman walks towards her.
"Hello, my name is Ayaki Takahashi, pleasure to meet you!" she says with a smile.
"Are you perhaps a fallen angel?" Miya asks, unsure about her existence.
"Hm? Yes I am.. if you're wondering if I caused that city level explosion, then yes I did." says Ayaki as she stands six feet from her.
Miya analyzes her. She wore a suit, her hair was black as well as her eyes like souls. It freaked her out a bit, but she controlled herself and managed to stay calm.
Ayaki glances at her and smiles.
"That explosion wasn't leveling this city... you leveled a large amount of this city." Miya says as her suspicion builds up.
Ayaki smile widens as she vanishes from sight and attacked Miya at the speed of Mach 29.
Miya didn't have time to avoid or block. She was sent flying into buildings and lands as she wipes the blood off of her face.
Shit... she's powerful.. is her abilities angel related attacks? Miya starts using her new skill [Analyzation], a skill that allows her to analyze her opponent and finding their weakness and finding information.
"Oh? Analyzing me? Such a skill that can be used on people and ancient wordings. It's basically like a translation and information finder." she smirks as she disappears again.
Miya's body was adapting to her movements slowly, and sensed her presence from behind. Ayaki was there behind her, knowing close combat wouldn't work due to her adaptability.
[Holy Magic: Angelic Devastation!]
It was an angelic and light-based magic that summoned out hyperspace gates in which shot out an atomic bomb-like attack with a very compressed light attack that comes from different directions.
Miya's eyes widened as she was about to get hit, but her body and mind had adapted completely from the attack and barely avoided it, but is severely injured.
"Oh...? What's this? You're still alive..." Ayaki says as she sighs in disappointment.
The damage that was done, had destroyed nearly the entire large city of Chronystele. Miya stood there, as she used healing magic to heal up all of her wounds.
That's right... another spell I've acquired was sealing as well from the goddess.. damn her abilties are stacked... Miya remembered about the skill to seal other opponents in a pocket dimension.
Ayaki glances at her with a smile as she charges towards her, but then Miya put her hand out and made her hand into a fist, which ended up opening up a pocket dimension which is a size of a country.
It acted as a black hole, and as it was opened up, it started sucking Ayaki into the pocket dimension. She notices this and tries to escape, but she was too slow.
Ayaki was then sealed completely in Miya's newly created pocket dimension that exist as an alternate dimension.
That... was surprisingly easy? Ayaki, a fallen angel, she had destroyed the city... such power is dangerous.. she thinks to herself as she understood how dangerous the power she had held was
Miya glances around and looked at the damage that was caused by Ayaki. She sighs as sweat drips from her face.
"So... how will I fix this mess?" says Miya as she chuckles nervously.
"Oh... right, creation magic, something that was also given to me from the Goddess' skills." she raises her hand upwards as the entire large city was engulfed in magic which rebuilds the entire city.
"There you go!" she says as she stretches and yawns.
Miya walks away from the newly built city and goes to find a hotel to stay in. She notices the crystal inn, and as she walked into the inn, she rented a room.
Miya then takes the key and walks to her room and took her shoes off and laid down, as she slowly drifts off to sleep peacefully.
A dimensional orb secretly appeared in her room, spying on Miya.
"Hmm... Miya Katagari.. you're the successor and chosen future goddess... I'll find you, and I'll kill you..." the mysterious deep, menacing voice laughed as it echoes through space and time.
Miya was being monitored carefully as she sleeps. The dimensional orb then disappears and now, this new entity is spying and monitoring every move Miya makes as he plans to end her existence completely.
