"I can't believe he handled this all on his own."
"I know, right?! He's just an initiate, and he handled this better than most cops would. He doesn't even have powers."
The cops had arrived at the scene and already arrested the four bank robbers. Besides canvassing the place, the cops were talking about how great a job Jin was doing while working with them.
During the week, Jin made 20 arrests, stopped 5 attempted robberies, and perfectly handled a high-speed police chase.
"Did you see the footage? He moved like a pro!"
"Good work, Jin. Here." Yuria gave Jin a cup of tea since he didn't like coffee.
"Thanks. I pass by this place on the way to the station, so it was fortunate that I was already in the area."
Jin was simply on his way to the station when he got a call saying that the police got an alert from a bank that was close to Jin.
At first, he was told to be on standby, but after careful analysis, Jin was positive that he would be able to handle the situation. Yuria vouched for him, and so he got permission from the higher-ups to engage.
"The chief said that you can take the rest of the day off. I know you only stated, but she said that you don't need to be as busy today since you're going on a date."
"Yuria, how many times do I have to tell you that it's not a date!"
Jin told her that Adeline Bellmire had invited him to dinner, but she kept phrasing it as him going on a date with Addison, which he repeatedly told her it wasn't.
"Haha, sure, sure, whatever you say."
"I'm leaving." Jin finished his tea, then started talking back to the institute.
"Do you need a ride?"
"Nope." Activating his power suit, Jin flew away."
"Heh, he's going on a date."

"What?! You're going on a date with Addison Bellmire!?" It had been a bit since Brittany and Jin were able to speak. She was excited to finally talk to him, but now she was feeling jealous.
"No, why do people keep saying that? Her mother simply wants to meet me because I was involved in chasing the people who stole from her and helped return her tech."
Jin was lying on Brittany's lap, using his arms to emphasize his words. He didn't even have feelings for her and wasn't planning on dating anyone.
Brittany pinched his nose. "It sounds like a date to me!"
"Ow, Ow! Stop. It's not a date. Ugh, I'm not even going to explain it anymore."
"Haha, I'm just teasing you." Brittany quickly changed the subject so her jealousy could go away. "So, I saw that you're doing great in your extracurricular activities. You were on the news this morning."
"I was?"
"Yeah, look." She took out her phone, and a digital projection of a news article appeared in the air. There was a video file attached, and she pressed on it, showing everything that went down.
"Oh wow, they even captured my good side."
"Every side of you is good."
"And how would you know that? Have you been spying on me, Brittany?"
"N-No! I just know!"
'Cute.'
"So, how's your work?" Jin wondered what Brittany had been up to.
She leaned back onto the wall, sighing deeply. "Tough. There was a chemical leak at the underwater lab in the western ocean. The leak made some of the deviant monsters become more ferocious. It was a scary sight, to be honest."
"I bet."
"Using my power that deep underwater was also pretty tough. Thank the goddess you suggested I train under high pressure."
Jin smiled. Ever since he was young, he would help Brittany practice her powers and always push her limits. He even helped Anyssa, but not as much since she was always working.
"Gotta prepare for everything." He chuckled.
"Just like you need to prepare for this date tonight." She pushed Jin off her lap, causing him to roll onto the ground. With her powers, she opened his closet and cycled through the best outfits he had.
"Oh yeah, this one is nice. Wear this." She picked Jin up with telekinesis, stripped him down to his underwear, then put on the outfit she chose.
"I hate it when you do this, you know."
"Hey, my eyes are closed!"
"Yeah, that's the problem."
Brittany opened her eyes to see what he was talking about, and the entire outfit was put on him improperly. He only had one leg in his pants, his shirt was on backward, and his hair was all messed up.
"Opps."
Jin laughed and fixed the problem with ease. Once he was done, he looked like a proper human being. He was wearing A red button-down shirt with a black dress jacket, black pants with a red belt, and he had on a black tie. Finally, his socks were red while his shoes were shiny black.
"You look amazing. All the girls are going to drool over you." She kissed him on the cheek
"They already do."
"Okay, mister player."
Jin took off his clothes since it wasn't time to leave yet and spent the next few hours hanging out with Brittany until it was time for them both to leave.
"I'll see you next time, Jin. Take care."
"Bye."
Brittany flew out of his window and into the dark that was night. Just then, he got a text on his phone from Addison, telling him to meet her at the institute entrance.
When Jin arrived, Addison was waiting for him with flowers, and there was a high-end car that was taking them to her house.
"I didn't know what flowers you like, so I just had the flower guy make a bouquet out of each flower he had at the shop."
Jin actually appreciated the gesture. Even if this were in his old world, he still would have appreciated it. He saw the flowers as a gift and a sign of effort and caring.
"Thanks! I don't like flowers, though." This didn't mean he wasn't going to like it. He simply wasn't into flowers.
"That's what I told my mother, but she insisted I get you some in case you did."
"I appreciate the thought and effort. That's what matters in my opinion."
Addison smiled, then opened the door for Jin. After closing it, she entered on the other side, sitting next to him.
"Where to miss?" The driver asked
"Home, take me home."
