"Ouch!" That hurt. The damn wall just came out of nowhere. Before she could react, her arms met the hard surface, likely bruising her flesh in the process. But that wasn't the first and probably not the last as she fought to stay upright.
"Damnit! What the hell!" Emily cursed the man who weighed heavily on her shoulders as her foot caught on the elevator doors this time. "What have you been eating?" She complained, feeling the tight, hard muscles that pressed firmly against her petite body.
Tripping mostly on her feet and bumping into all sorts of things, she struggled to carry the dead weight of her husband's semi-unconscious body from the car to his apartment, which wasn't exactly a picnic since he lived on the top floor.
