(3rd PoV)
In a match battlefield that was repaired, Cynthia's Garchomp and Pachirisu stood opposite to each other.
Four people, who are actually the Elite Four, Nurse Joy's daughter, Ash, Brock, Dawn, Paul and Alain were watching the match.
Alain was currently travelling around the world in search of the mega stone for Charizard, and got caught up in the disaster.
But since he has the chance of watching the Sinnoh Champion and the mystery Pachirisu right now, he wouldn't miss it.
Perhaps his observations of Pachirisu's changes can help in Professor Sycamore's research on Mega Evolution?
"Chupa Chupa Chipa!"
Dawn's Pachirisu was currently trying to attack Pachirisu for jumping on Dawn's head, but was being heald back by Ash's Raichu.
"Rai Raichu."
"Chupa!"
Dawn's Pachirisu and Raichu started fighting amongst themselves.
Dawn's Pachirisu is very fast. He would have been the fastest amongst the trio's Pokmeons if not for Raichu.
He is a carefree guy, so he doesn't really has any sort of rivalry or anything with Raichu. But perhaps he sees Raichu as a sibling.
"Who do you think will win?"
Dawn asked, and Brock said, "Garchomp. She is a dragon and especially ground type. And she is the champion's ace."
Everyone but Dawn and Paul was sure that Garchomp will win. Afterall, amongst the people gathered here, only they have seen how viciously Pachirisu destroyed Torterra, who is also a ground type.
Nurse Joy's daughter became the refree.
"3!"
Pachirisu's tail and cheek pouches started glowing blue unlike the usual sparks. His fur stood up.
"2!"
"1!"
"Begin!"
The moment match started, Pachirisu blurred.
"Pachi! Pachi! Pachi! Pachi!"
He used Volt Missile as his first move. His aim is for the eyes.
"Garchomp! Dragon Rush!"
To test Pachirisu's power, Cynthia used a similar attack.
But Pachirisu is clearly faster. And more agile.
He changed his direction just as both of them were about to hit, and went under Garchomp.
Garchomp's head is covered in the Dragon energy. So Pachirisu aimed to make Garchomp spill her stomach's contents to light her on fire from the inside, just like he did with Torterra.
The attack hit, but nothing really happened to Garchomp.
"Garchomp, grab him."
"Pachi—!"
Garchomp suddenly grabbed him and held him tightly.
He struggled to get out of her grip, and then, started biting her.
It didn't work either.
"PA-CHI-RI-SUUUUUUUUUUUU!"
During his struggle, he subconsciously used Thunder. But it wasn't a normal one.
Entire battle area got hit by blue lightning, turning the air around the lightning strikes into plasma.
"What a powerful thunder!"
Everyone was surprised by the intensity. It surpassed even Ash's Raichu's!
"GARCHOMP!"
Though Garchomp wasn't effected by the thunder itself, the air around him got ionised and he breathed it. Harming his lungs.
As if that wasn't enough, Pachirisu's teeth suddenly got a white light and extended into a pointed attack.
Pachirisu has learnt Super Fang!
Garchomp's health, which was around 90%, slashed to 45% in an instant.
Super Fang slashes half of the health of a Pokemon, ignoring the typing!
"Garchomp! Let go and use Flamethrower!"
Cynthia turned serious.
She has already seen Pachirisu's power through that thunder which affected the air and harmed Garchomp, and decided to catch him as her Electric type Pokemon.
Garchomp let Pachirisu go and used Flamethrower point blank!
Paul and Dawn sighed.
Pachirisu didn't try to dodge at all.
Using Thunder Armour, which actually got a Plasma Armour layer, he tanked the Flamethrower and jumped into Garchomp's mouth!
"What!?"
Garchomp tried to scream, but Pachirisu used Thunderbolt into her stomach, used Iron Tail, and got out!
"Garchomp! Draco Meteor!"
Along with the contents of her stomach, Garchomp threw a Draco Meteor point blank!
Pachirisu sent intense electric current from his tail to his right cheek, being aware of the directions, and used the power of electromagnetism to increase the his speed in going sudden right!
But to do that, he had cancel his Thunder Armour.
The Draco Meteor split into several pieces! And one hit him directly!
"Pachi!"
He didn't know what a Draco Meteor does, so he didn't expect this at all!
Pachirisu got knocked out.
"Pachirisu can no longer continue! Garchomp wins!"
But Garchomp wasn't faring much.
She was on her knees, violently vomiting everything. Coughing due to ionised air in her lungs.
And then, the air around her that has transformed into plasma lit the the gas coming from the vomit on fire.
"Garchomp!"
Then, the entirety of Garchomp's insides and air around him lit on fire.
"Garchomp, come back!"
Cynthia took back Garchomp in her Pokeball, frowning.
No one has ever injured her Garchomp so much. Yes, she didn't take the battle seriously at first to check Pachirisu's power to determine whether to knock him out or weaken him to catch him.
But Garchomp has the type advantage.
Next time, she will treat Pachirisu as any opponent. With full intention of a knock out.
She doesn't think she wants to catch him now that he used such vicious methods on her Garchomp.
But Paul didn't think so.
Just as Pachirisu was waking up, due to unconsciously using Volt Absorb to absorb the charges from the plasma all over the battlefield, Paul threw his Pokeball.
Ash and Dawn grabbed Paul's collar.
"What the hell are you doing!?"
"Catching a wild Pokemon."
Pachirisu got enveloped in a red light and got absorbed into the Pokeball.
Pokeball shook once. It's red light in the centre blinking.
Pokeball shook twice. It's red light in the centre blinking.
Pokeball stopped shakimg and the red light stopped blinking.
Pachirisu got caught!
As if that wasn't enough, Paul released his Elekid.
"I don't need you."
"ELEKID!?"
