The Thunder Stone was about to hit Pikachu.
I did nothing, because I wanted to see if plot armour will allow Pikachu to not evolve.
I could have atleast shouted, but...
I was curious!
"Pika—"
The stone hit, and Pikachu got enveloped in a bright blinding white light.
Ash shouted.
"Pikachu!"
And then, he grabbed me!
"Why did you throw your stone at Pikachu!?"
"Pachi! Pachi! Pachi!"
I denied everything and pointed at the rude punk!
I don't have anything to do with this! It was he who threw the stone at me and it bounced to Pikachu!
Everyone stared at the bright light which had enveloped Pikachu. It was fading. And the size has grown.
As the light disappeared, instead of a cute Pikachu, stood a cute Raichu.
I beat Nintendo!
"Raichu... Raichu!?"
Pikachu was confused, and when he heard his own voice being 'Raichu', he realised what happened.
Still, atleast the voice was still cute. Unlike the first Raichu that appeared in the anime.
Brock muttered, "Pikachu evolved into Raichu by accident...."
Dawn was confused.
"Huh? Isn't evolving a good thing?"
Wobbuffet was still being sad because of getting separated from criminals, sitting in a cornor and sobbing.
"Wobb! Wobb!"
Ash threw me up and rushed to the rude punk.
Damn! Ash is so strong!
Thankfully, I managed to twist my body on instinct and landed on soft and squishy Wobbuffet instead of hard floor.
Ash grabbed his collar and was ready to throw hands.
"Why you!?"
But Chansey grabbed Ash and kept him from hitting that punk.
He was all being straight face like he wasn't fazed a bit, but even Mewtwo was smart enough to use a barrier to block Ash's punch!
"What is your problem?"
"You carelessly threw the Thunder Stone, and it hit Pikachu and evolved him!"
"I am not giving another Thunder Stone to Pachirisu then."
He took back Torterra in his Pokeball, and started leaving. Scoffing at Ash.
Ash kept struggling to break free from Chansey's arms to beat up that punk, but Chansey is surprisingly very strong.
Pikachu, no, Raichu jumped down from the table and went to comfort Ash.
"Rai! Rai! Raichu! Raichu!"
So he doesn't mind it too much?
"But... you didn't want to evolve..."
"Rai! Rai Rai Raichu!"
Even though he is saying that he doesn't mind to comfort Ash, it's obvious that Raichu wanted to stay as Pikachu.
"Pa—"
I shouldn't have let this happen just because of curiosity!
I wanted to learn Iron Tail from Pikachu and accompany the three to eat Brock's food, but I don't think I would be able to do so happily.
So, I left.
Has becoming a Pokemon made me dumb? That I let my curiosity get the best of me?
That should be the case. I wasn't this childish.
I wiped my tears and ran into the forest.
What the hell am I doing? I can't even apologise!?
"Pachi! Pachi Pachi!"
But I continued running away. Never stopping.

Pikachu didn't expect to evolve this way, on accident.
He never wanted to evolve. Evolving meant leaving his loved ones.
As a Pichu, he was taken in by a Kangaskhan, who take care of him just like her own baby.
But noticing how difficult it was becoming for her to take care of her own baby and him at the same time, her pouch being not big enough, the food being scarce, he left them when they were asleep.
And when he said his goodbye, looking towards their direction for the last time, he evolved.
And this time, the evolution was abrupt. He didn't choose to evolve just because he couldn't defeat a stronger opponent. And he didn't make any difficult decision.
"Rai..."
His own new voice, his new big body, his longer, stronger and different shaped tail, his new colors, all felt foreign to him.
With his big body, will he even fit on Ash's shoulder?
"Don't worry! Nothing is going to change! Come here!"
Ash patted his shoulder, and Raichu climbed him and rested on his shoulder.
He was too big. He had to balance himself so that he wouldn't fall down.
But there was an even bigger difference from his previous evolution that stood out.
Ash was not having any difficulty in handling him! At all!
Ash didn't feel any difficulty in carrying the extra weight!
"See Pikachu? I can still easily carry you on my shoulder!"
"Rai! Rai! Raichu!"
"Ha ha ha! I forgot that you are now Raichu!"
The laugh was bittersweet. Filled with nostalgia and a trace of sadness.
Ash wanted Pikachu to decide what he wanted. Not evolving was his decision. And now, his Pikachu has become Raichu on accident.
Dawn's voice interrupted their thoughts.
"Huh!? Where did Pachirisu go!?"
"Piplup?"
They looked around, not finding him.
"Wobbuffet! Wobbuffet!"
A crying Wobbuffet pointed at the open door.
"Rai! Raichu!"
Raichu felt like Pachirisu must be feeling guilty, that's why he ran away!
"Yeah! Let's find Pachirisu!"
"Piplup!"
"He shouldn't have gotten far away!"
Brock shouted.
"Yeah! He forgot his bag!"
Dawn also shouted and the trio ran to find Pachirisu.
But they couldn't find him at all.
