Mr. Landon's eyes were blazing with anger as he walked outside C.A Holdings.
He reached where his car was parked and threw himself into the backseat, slamming the door behind him with enough force to make his driver flinch.
"Drive." He snapped at the innocent man.
The driver didn't need to be told twice. The car pulled away from C.A. Holdings, driving smoothly into the city main road.
But Landon wasn't calm. His hands were still shaking with fury as he yanked his phone from his pocket and scrolled through his contacts.
He found the number and jabbed at it.
The call connected immediately it rang.
"Landon." A smooth, calm voice answered.
"How did it go?"
"How did it go? You sent me to be humiliated by that bitch, that's how it went!" Landon's voice exploded through the line.
There was a pause on the other end.
Then Victor Hale's voice came through again, still maddeningly calm;
"What happened?"
"What happened?" Landon repeated, his voice rising.
