The sky outside the bar slowly darkened, the light started to fade, and the people drinking started to leave one by one until only Norrak, Zuklo, and Iroh remained.
Bam!
Norrak panted hard, his eyes dazed and his cheeks red as he burped. He had been drinking for hours by now, and he was still only barely drunk from the alcohol.
Zuko was sitting beside Norrak, his face also a bit red as he drank his first cup of alcohol under Iroh's scrutinising gaze. Iroh, in the meanwhile, was drinking simple tea.
"Well, nice to see you both. But I am afraid it's time for me to go and sleep. May we meet again in the future, if destiny decides," Norrak stood up, taking the bounty and the map to the secret city leading to the dragons.
Norrak stumbled to the exit, and the bartender, who saw this immediately, got up to close the bar. Zuko and Iroh saw this, and they both stood to follow Norrak outside.
Once out, Norrak did not waste his time, and he stumbled down the road aimlessly in the dark night. Zuko and Iroh, of course, took a different route, since they were afraid of Norrak, though it lessened after the bar.
Swoosh!
Norrak paused as a dark figure jumped down from the roof of a building. She spun in the air before landing in front of him. She rushed at his drunken stupor and pushed him into the alley.
Norrak fell on his side heavily, bouncing on the floor as he hit the wall of the alley. The figure came inside, the moonlight casting a glow on her figure and revealing her.
Burpppp~
Norrak burped; the gas inside his gut was knocked out of him by the push. He rolled onto his back, and he sighed as he gazed at the moon in the sky. He felt a connection to it.
Must be because he is the strongest waterbender in the world, if not the entire history of the Avatar world. His water connection is higher than anyone, even the avatar.
"You are the so-called Blood Moon Norrak? With that kind of bounty on your head, I was expecting something different," June looked down at Norrak with a confused look, her lips curling in surprise.
"I never thought the waterbender that made entire nations tremble at his name was here, drunk and lying in an alley," June walked closer, the ground thumping under them.
Outside an alley, a massive shadow guarded the alley. A shirshu named Nyla, and the loyal pet of June, was licking the air, sensing anyone who would try to interrupt June.
"What can I do for you, beautiful bounty hunting lady? If you must know, I think I am married, or I think I was," Norrak said with a slurred speech, smiling as he stumbled onto his feet.
"So, I am afraid I can't give you my head. But I can give you my heart, if you wish to give me yours," Norrak smiled, his blue eyes glowing in the dark with visible Chi.
June looked at those two blue orbs with a touch of white clouds floating in the dark. Her heart skipped a beat at Norrak's words, but more at how handsome he looked.
"Looks like the bounty page was not lying about your handsome looks~ Too bad your bounty is more attractive!" June surged forward, and a whip unfurled from her hip.
Crack!
The black whip shot through the air, and Norrak sighed before dodging the whip with elegance. His body then suddenly stumbled on a rock, and he fell forward.
Boom!
June slammed her heel into Norrak's chin, and the kick sent him flying into the alley wall, cracking it and denting his body from the force. Norrak shook his head and gently lifted himself from the indent.
"Lady, how about we stop fighting and instead go get a few drinks. It's on me~," Norrak asked with a smile, the kick not even shaking him as he walked forward.
"Sorry, handsome~ But I am afraid I like money, more than I like handsome company~," June replied, dashing forward, and elbowing Norrak in the chest.
Boom!
Norrak straightened, and the alcohol in his eyes vanished as his feet stomped the ground. A circular shockwave passed by, and the ground under him cratered and dented deeply.
"Lady, if you only want money. I can be your sugar daddy. I have enough money to last several lifetimes," Norrak said, and he smirked as he vanished, appearing behind June, his arm around her waist.
He leaned back, and June was held by her waist, arched as she saw the moon behind Norrak's head. But his blue eyes still took her attention from the bright moon in the sky.
"How about you become mine, and I can be your sugar papa~," Norrak asked again, and June blushed before jumping back from Norrak. Her heart beat like a drum, and she tightened her hold on her whip.
"I see why you have such a massive bounty now. Your strength does deserve to strike fear into nations. If you want me to be your hovewer, you have to show me some goodwill~," June said, her whip wrapping around her waist.
"Well, to be honest with you, I don't really have the money on me. It's actually with my wife... Yeah, I don't have a penny on me. But do not worry, I can make mountains of money!" Norraks said.
"That's a pity. How about you come find me when you have money on you. Remember my name, it's June. And I am a bounty hunter," June jumped out of the alley, onto Nyla, who quickly tried to run.
"Hmmm, should I ask my ex-wife for some money?" Norrak muttered, jumping onto the roof of the buildings before jumping into the air and vanishing.
[Azula...]
Boom!
The throne shattered into a million tiny pieces as Azula screamed in anger. The blue flame on her leg shattered before melting the throne in the room.
"Where the hell is he?!! He was supposed to be here three hours ago!" Azula screamed before turning towards Ty Lee, who was standing there with a clueless face as to why Norrak was not here.
"I don't know why he is not here. I could have sworn that he likes me-,"
"And who told you to go to his house every day? You should have given him a simple invitation while taking some time to get closer," Azula said with a glare, her golden pupils shining.
"Hmm, I don't know what you are talking about, Azula. Besides, I did get closer to him~," Ty Lee giggled as she shook her head in pretend confusion.
Azula growled in annoyance before closing her eyes. Just then, Mai entered the room, and Azula immediately looked at her for information.
"Your plan was completed even without our intervention. That Katara girl had slapped Norrak through three concrete walls, and the Norrak guy had gone to drink, defeating a famous bounty hunter along the way," Mai said, taking the black face cover off.
"Oh? Finally, some good news, now let's go and find him tomorrow," Azula said with a smirk.
