Chapter 19 - KRYPT-Ch.19: First Lesson

Matthew Atkinson

Oxford

After a few minutes, the class division was completed by drawing lots.

Everyone entered their respective classrooms according to the lots they drew.

Each class had exactly one hundred students.

After the students were seated, a middle-aged man came into the classroom.

This man is tall and burly, with a fierce face. He looked like someone not to be trifled with. He walked like a wild animal, waiting to pounce, and had a powerful aura.

"Good morning, students. My name is Blake Holland, and I'm the head teacher of Class B. You can call me Mr. Holland or Professor Holland. Before you're officially divided into classes, I'll be guiding you on how to become stronger!"

Professor Holland spoke as he scanned the class.

His gaze was sharp. Many timid students did not dare to look him in the eye; instead, they lowered their heads.

Unexpectedly, this action caused a reprimand from Professor Holland.

"Can't you dare to look at me?? Why don't you dare to look? Am I that scary? Then do you know that the monsters in the supernatural realm are thousands of times more terrifying than I? If you don't even dare to look at them, how can you resist and survive?"

No one expected that the professor would start scolding people right away.

This kind of show of force did have an effect.

At least everyone understood that Professor Holland was quite strict, and they all became serious.

The students who had not dared to look and had lowered their heads before raised their heads again.

Professor Holland then continued, "Before starting the lesson, I want to teach you the way to survive at the University of Oxford."

"Have you all received your student cards? Raise your hands if you haven't."

No one raised their hand. Including Matthew, they had already obtained their student cards.

"Student cards are essential, be sure to keep them safe!"

Professor Holland said, "Let's first talk about the points loaded into the student cards. These points can be used to rent a training hall and purchase weapons and equipment, including firearms, on the school intranet. The school even holds an intranet auction every year. You might even find supernatural items at the auction!!"

Hearing this, everyone's eyes lit up.

They actually auction off supernatural items.

The University of Oxford was indeed a prestigious university. It was really generous in motivating students.

"Everyone's initial points on their student cards are all 100. However, starting next month, when the classes are divided, your points will change."

"The school will give you some points every month, based on your class. For example, students in Class A will get 100 points every month, while Class B will only get 80, and Class C will only get 60!"

"If you want to earn extra points, it depends on your performance in the supernatural realm. The more outstanding your performance, the higher the points reward given by the school."

After Professor Holland's explanation, everyone understood the main point.

The points on the student card were important. Very important.

"The school's intranet is at the bottom of the official website. The login username is your student card number. The initial password is 1 to 9. I suggest you change your password as soon as possible."

"Although the points on the student card are important, the most important thing is your ability!"

"Among the supernatural people, everything is based on strength! Only with great strength can you enjoy the corresponding resources!"

"This is not only true at Supernatural Universities, but it will be even more so when you enter society in the future!"

Professor Holland said this and suddenly changed the subject: "If you want to enter society, the prerequisite is that you can survive in the supernatural realm!"

"Next, I want to tell you about the basic rules of the Supernatural Realm."

"First, you can form a team in the most Supernatural Realm layers. In the normal Supernatural Realm layers, the maximum number of team members is four. In the same special Supernatural Realm layers, the maximum number of team members is ten."

"Special supernatural realms are relatively rare, so you don't need to worry about them for now."

"I personally recommend that you form a full team, meaning four people per team. The Supernatural Realm is full of dangers, so teamwork is crucial. Furthermore, when you team up with others, your basic rewards won't be shared between you. Only the additional rewards will need to be shared equally with your teammates."

"You don't need to think too much about the extra rewards. They are rewards for a select few geniuses. Only those with exceptional performance have the opportunity to receive them."

"One of your most important tasks is to find teammates you can trust before the Supernatural Realm opens next month!"

When everyone heard this, they subconsciously looked towards the students around them.

It was undoubtedly most appropriate to let students find teammates among their classmates.

They were all newcomers and would be entering the same supernatural realm layer next month. They were also classmates, so they were more reliable than strangers.

"Finding teammates is no easy task. Besides being trustworthy and reliable, it also depends on whether their talents and abilities are compatible with each other!"

"Let's take a simple example. Everyone knows that although Logia-type Devil Fruits are very powerful, before they fully master elementalization, they actually have a major weakness: their physical bodies are not strong enough."

"Once the enemy gets close to them, it will be a hazardous situation!"

"So, if a Logia-type Devil Fruit user wants to find compatible teammates, it's best to look for those with the 'physical enhancement talent'."

What Professor Holland said made a great deal of sense, and the students nodded in agreement.

Professor Holland continued, "To make it easier for you to find teammates that suit you, everyone should now share the abilities you obtained in the Holy Land."

After hearing this, Matthew immediately felt a headache!

He knew what would happen, and there was no way to hide!

"Is there anyone who volunteers?" Professor Holland looked around the audience and said, "If not, then we'll go in order."

As soon as the professor's words fell, a student stood up and said, "Teacher, let me speak first!"

Upon hearing this, Professor Holland looked somewhat relieved.

He liked bolder students!

In the supernatural realm, what was needed was courage and carefulness; a lack of courage could often become a fatal flaw.

However, Professor Holland's mood soon changed.

The young man continued, "My name is Matthew Atkinson. I was the top trending news a few days ago. I'm sure everyone remembers me. Yes, I'm the idiot who gave away the Flame-Flame Fruit and then fused with Kryptonian Bloodline!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the whole class was in an uproar.

Everyone looked at Matthew in surprise. They probably didn't expect that the nationally famous "super simp" would become their classmate.

What they didn't expect was Matthew's calm demeanor.

When he introduced himself just now, he directly said that he was an idiot and didn't care about other people's opinions at all.

It seemed the rumors on the Internet were true; this kid really wanted to die!

But, with his talent, how did he get into the University of Oxford?

Even Professor Holland looked at Matthew in surprise.

After Matthew finished speaking, he sat down as if nothing had happened.

His idea was simple: instead of passively inviting ridicule, he might as well take the initiative and give his classmates a little shock!

As for whether his classmates will dislike him and refuse to team up with him?

Sorry, but Matthew never thought about forming a team.

At the same time.

In Class A next to the Class B, it was Natalie Russell's turn to introduce herself...
