Stephanie's POV
My head was pounding severely. It was a dull and steady thumping pain. I blinked, trying to see clearly. Where in God's name was I? I looked around. This wasn't my room, neither was it Cane's house.
I was lying on a long soft couch. The air smelt like flowers and expensive perfume. I sat up, my whole body feeling heavy. This looked like a private room in some fancy restaurant. The table was set, like it was a date. It was beautiful and terrifying at the same time. How did I end up here?
I tried to think but my mind was fuzzy. I remembered I had a fight with cane and I left the house to clear my head.
Shit! This was Myron's handwork. Maybe he had been following me or something but he pulled up in his car, asking me to go with him. I knew him too well to see that his smile was fake.
"No, Myron. I'm not going anywhere with you." But he wouldn't let me be.
