Keifer's POV
In the evening,
Snowfall had started, as it was already the month of December. It means Christmas is coming, and very soon, exams too.
I was doing my office work while sitting on the couch in my room. As soon as the work was over, I kept all the files together on the side of the table.
I called the maid and ordered a hot coffee. Then suddenly, I got a call.
From: Keigan
(Hello, kuya.)
"Hey, Merry Christmas," I said happily as I heard his voice.
(Are you coming to the Philippines this Christmas or not?)
"Yes, I will definitely come. I'll finish my work here and then come back."
(Is everything okay there? What's going on?)
"I'm fine. Everything is going well. You tell me, is everything okay there?"
(Yeah, everything is fine. Honey takes care of us, but we miss you a lot.
"When will you finish your college studies and come back?")
"Just one more year, and then I'll be back in the Philippines."
("Okay, bye, kuya. I have to go do some Christmas shopping, so I'll hang up now, okay? Bye.")
"Bye," I said and hung up the call.
"Sir, coffee." A maid came and placed the cup on the table in front of me.
I finished my coffee and started thinking about something.
I called Jay. After a while, she picked up the phone.
("Hello, good evening, Kukki.")
"Hello, good evening, wifey. Are you going to the Philippines to celebrate Christmas?"
("I haven't thought about it yet, but I'll go if Papa gets leave from his office work. Then he will too.")
"If it gets confirmed that you'll go, then let me know. We'll go by my private jet."
(" I'll let you know.")
("I need to do some Christmas shopping for clothes, so I'm going out. Can I hang up?")
"Wait, can I come with you? I also have some shopping to do."
("Okay, I'm in my car on the way, so will you come with me?")
"Okay, wait for me. I'm leaving now."
("Okay, hurry up.")
"Alright, bye. Love you, babe."
("Love you too," she said and ended the call.)
I put on my jacket and left. Her car stopped in front of me.
"Hey, what were you going to do?" I asked.
"Nothing. Now come inside quickly, we have to go," Jay replied.
"You give me the car, I'll drive," I said.
"Okay," she said and got out of the car.
I opened the other side of the door for her and helped her sit inside.
Then I came and sat in the driver's seat. Along the way, we talked about what we needed to buy.
We stopped the car in front of a shop. We went in, and as soon as we entered, Jay ran towards a section. I followed her too.
There were lots of Christmas clothes there.
"Look, how is it?" she asked me, showing a red dress. It had a deep neck and was backless.
"Nice, it will suit you, and also it will look very sexy on you", I answered.
She lightly hit me on the arm, and then she began looking at the clothes again.
I saw a section with baby clothes. I immediately went there, and then I saw a cute baby outfit. Then I saw a tiny and cute shoe.
I called Jay and showed it to her.
"These clothes and shoes are so tiny and cute, let's buy some for future babies," I said happily.
"Those will be worn out by the time we have a baby," she replied.
"So let's go and make one right now," I answered.
Everyone started staring at us.
"First, you must graduate," she said, annoyingly.
"Why is there a need to graduate for that?" I asked, confused.
"But really, why do I need to graduate? I know how to make a baby."
"Will you be quiet for a little while? Everyone is laughing at your nonsense," she whispered, then went back to the clothing section.
But I secretly put two baby shoes and some baby clothes in the trolley, hiding them under the dresses.
After a while, our shopping was over, and we took everything to the billing counter.
When the person at the counter started billing the baby clothes, Jay turned toward me and gave me a death glare.
I looked at her and simply smiled.
After finishing the billing and payment, we went outside the shop. We got in the car and left for Jay's place.
Then we reached her home, and she said Good night and kissed my cheek.
I replied, "Good night, love," and drove back home.
