Jay's POV
We had just returned from the Philippines yesterday, and I was sitting in Keifer's room making notes for exams.
Then I remembered something. We haven't been able to find Layla yet.
When I was in the Philippines, I met a childhood friend of mine at that party. He said that he has also come to study while staying in London.
(Flashback)
Hey, Jay Jay, is that you? Someone asked from behind me.
I turned to see who it was,
You look so different and beautiful. He spoke again
Thanks, but who are you? I asked
Oh, I'm your childhood friend. He answered
Yeah, but I don't know you. I answered
I also study in London. I have seen you many times, but I haven't been able to talk to you, because you are always with your friends. He said
By the way, you have become more beautiful, he added
When I saw you, seemed that I did not
recognise you, but how did you recognise me quickly? I answered
Then, suddenly, Suddenly Keifer appeared from behind me, holding two glasses of wine in his hand.
Who are you, now? Keifer asked angrily.
Is this your bf? He asked.
Correction, I'm not just a bf, I'm her fiancé, and by the way, who are you? Keifer asked, a little angry.
The smile on that boy's face disappeared as he heard that.
You didn't tell me that you were engaged, too. He asked me.
Who are you that she will tell you? Keifer shot him.
I'm his childhood friend. He answered as he turned to Keifer.
Keifer turned to me and askedJay, Do you know who he is?.
No, I don't know. I answered.
Keifer turned to him and said, "If you are finished asking questions, then you can." Keifer spoke in a warning tone.
Then Alex walked away, rolling his eyes.
"Jay, don't talk to strangers like that," he said as he offered me a glass of wine.

I was just thinking when suddenly Keifer opened the door and came inside the room, holding chocolate milkshakes.
"Here it is — your chocolate milkshake," he said while offering me the milkshake.
I took the glass and sipped through a straw.
I kept the glass on the bedside table and started searching for important points in the book, but then Keifer said, "There are still two months left for exams. Don't take so much stress."
"No, I was just writing this," I answered.
"Writing what?" he asked.
He came closer, sat next to me, and started checking the notes I had made.
"Hmm, this is really neat and clean," he murmured.
I leaned back against the backrest, sat lazily, and started sipping the milkshake.
After a while, when he finished checking, he looked at me and asked, "Why are you sitting like you're pregnant?"
"Ahhh, don't talk about that. I don't want to remember it," I said, stopping him with my hand dramatically.
"Imagine what would've happened if the result had come positive?"
"I would've cut your future short," I murmured, but I think he still heard that.
"What?" he asked in shock.
"Nothing, nothing," I quickly answered, trying to change the topic. "But that jerk animal—"
Keifer's POV
Did she just say, "I would have cut your future short"?
Thank God, nothing like that happened.
"If this had happened, then how could I make our firstborn?" I asked.🤣
"You jerk! You're still thinking about how you could've had a kid? What about me having to inflate like a balloon?" she snapped.
"Now leave all that. You take some rest; I'll bring something to eat for you," I said calmly.
Then I went downstairs to get something for Jay.
I wanted to eat pizza, so I asked the maid to make homemade pizza and soup for Jay.
"When the food is ready, bring it to my room," I said, then went back upstairs.
Jay had already fallen asleep, so I covered her with a blanket.
I sat on the couch and started doing my office work on my laptop.
Half an hour later, the food finally arrived.
I woke Jay up and, while pointing at the soup, I said, "This is your soup. Your health will get better soon," I added.
"Did you eat something?" she asked, yawning and rubbing her eyes. I found it funny.
"Nah, but I'll eat now," I said, showing her the pizza.
"I want to eat pizza too," she said while trying to reach for the plate, but couldn't.
"Your hands are so small, you won't be able to reach it," I teased her.
"What did you just say?" she snapped and pounced on me like a kitten.
I quickly placed the pizza on the tray and caught her.
"You really are a wild cat," I said with a playful smirk.
"And you're an animal," she snapped.
(Sudden realisation!!)
"What did you just say?" I asked.
She tried to escape from my grip, but I stepped back and laughed.
Then I laid her down on the bed and pinned her arms above.
"How will you go now?" I asked while chuckling.
Then I brought my face closer to hers, and Jay turned her head.
Then came a sound of laughter.
As I turned to see, I saw that Keiren was recording a video of us while we were busy talking.
I immediately moved away from her and ran after Keiren to snatch the phone from his hand.
Jay also got up and ran after us.
We rushed downstairs while running, and that's when we saw—
Keiren hid behind Honey and said, "Look, sis, this lion is trying to capture his deer ."
"When did you come?" I asked Honey (to change the topic).
"Just now. But why were you two chasing him?" she asked.
"Look," Keiren said, showing the video of us.
I turned to Jay and saw that she was already looking at me with a death glare.
Then Honey started laughing.
"A prey and its lion," she said, laughing and pointing at us.
