Jay's POV
We are all going to the Philippines tomorrow. The rest of our friends are also coming with us. So, I did some shopping for Christmas gifts and clothes.
Angelo told me that there is going to be a Christmas party there, so I did the shopping in advance. Papa had to go to New York for some business work, so he couldn't come now. He told me to go with my friends and that he would come later.
Before leaving, we are going to enjoy the snowfall in the evening.
I took a nap in the afternoon. When I woke up, it was already evening. I got up from my bed, went to the balcony, and the view was awesome.
I came back quickly and got dressed in warm clothes to go out.
I called Ci-n and asked them, "What time are you guys leaving?"
"But it's not snowing yet," he said.
"It can start after a while. Please, you guys can come. I'm very eager to go. Please…" I begged.
"Okay, okay, we will try," he said.
"Okay, hurry up. I'm just leaving," I said and cut the call.
I asked the maids to take care of the house, and then I came out with Layla, because Papa had gone to New York.
As soon as I came out, I saw Keifer was already there.
"You didn't tell me you came," I said.
"I just arrived. Let's go now," he said, then held my hand and started walking.
"Have you been walking?" I asked.
"Yeah," he answered.
"So, Ci-n and the others are coming or not?" I asked.
"Yeah, they're all coming," he answered.
We went and sat on a bench at a place where some people were playing music with a guitar. 🎸
We were listening to the music when someone closed my eyes with their hands.
"Guess who I am?" he asked.
"Obviously, Ci-n," I said as he removed his hands.
"Shit, you found out," he murmured.
"Your hands are tiny, it's obvious," I answered teasingly.
Everyone started laughing.
"What should I do if I'm so big but my hands are small?" he said dramatically.
"You're still too young, first turn eighteen," David said.
"And you are grandpa," Ci-n shot back.
"What the fuck did you say?" David asked.
"Jay, save me! Grandpa is going to kill me!" Ci-n said while trying to hide behind me.
"Let's go somewhere and eat something first. I'm hungry," Ci-n said.
"I want to go too," I said.
"You both always seem too hungry," Eman murmured, but I still heard him.
"What did you just say?" I asked.
"Nothing, let's just go," he said, and then we started walking to find a restaurant.
After a while, we found one. We all started to go inside, but a servant came and said, "Dogs are not allowed here. You can keep them outside."
"But where?" I asked.
"There's a bodyguard there — you can give it to him, he'll take care of it," he said.
I gave Layla to the bodyguard, then went inside. I didn't feel like leaving her out, but I had to.
We all went in, found a long table, and sat down. Then the waiter came and took our order.
After a short while, our order arrived.
We started eating.
When we all finished our food, everyone ordered hot coffee. After eating and drinking everything, we paid the bill and left the restaurant.
But when we came out, we couldn't find Layla anywhere. I asked the guard, "Where is Layla?"
He said, "Who's that? I don't know."
"I just gave her to a guard to take care of a short while ago!" I exclaimed.
"He's not a real guard," he replied.
"Do you know where he went?" I asked.
"Nah, I don't know. I was sleeping," he said.
"Oh no," I murmured.
"Let's go and find her," Yuri said.
Then we started searching for her. Some people went one way, others went another. Keifer and I went together.
