Obi-wan put an entire bottle of burn cream on my arm and face then wrapped everything with gauze. Anakin had removed Grievous's remaining leg and removed his voice box stuff to stop him from screaming bloody murder at us. Palpatine was now talking with Anakin and Obi-wan about the ship as it was currently disabled and falling to the planet. As they were attempting to smooth our landing Count Dooku arrived from the elevator and engaged the Jedi. I told R2 to steady the ship the best he could and entered the fight by firing my BAR at Dooku. He dodged or caught most of the bullets but one clipped his offhand causing him to flinch and lose his lightsaber to
Obi-wans constant harassment.
I quickly scooped his lightsaber like I had done the other four from Grievous. With them subduing Dooku, Palps had no chance to corrupt Anakin. My sensor even caught him shoot me a deathly glare at one point. We tied Grievous to Dookus back then tied him to a chair. At that moment R2 gave some beeps I didn't understand and Anakin took back control of the ships descent.
We started to hear explosions throughout the ship and Anakin reported multiple failures within the systems. I then decided to screw with palps a bit and shoved him into his restraining chair and locked it. The two Jedi gave me a weird look but I answered with a shrug and "We have to protect him right? He's strapped in safe and sound. He come out of this crash better than us." That wasn't completely true as he only had the cuffs over his wrists to hold him in the seat.
I grabbed onto a console with Obi-wan doing the same. R2 activated his magnetic feet and Anakin clutched the controls of the ship. With how the fight had gone the ship hadn't failed right above the capital of the planet and we slammed into the outskirts.
What happened after the landing was a small war as we fought our way to the clones besieging the ship while dragging Palps, Dooku, and Grievous along with us. We made it out eventually with only a few bolts catching me and we were all taken to a medbay. The medics had put my arm into some kind of bacta tank sleeve and replaced my bandages with a big bacta patch.
Anakin, Obi-wan and Palps had escaped with only a few small injuries but Dooku had a gunshot wound and a few bigger wounds from the fight. The medics didn't really know what to do with Grievous but Dooku simply told them to toss him in a bacta tank. We were all confined to our beds by the medics and guards to wait for our higher ups. I of course had no higher ups so we were simply waiting for Yoda and whoever else tagged along.
Around an hour later Yoda and Mace Windu entered to find Anakin and I talking about my armor while he messed with it. Everyone had been befuddled when I pulled multiple large and small weapons and such out of small pockets but they had mostly ignored it as me being strange. Yoda and Windu interrogated all of us except Grievous and I wrote down the truth about me on a piece of paper and slipped it to Yoda. He read the paper away from us, then stopped Windus interrogating of me. He explained some things to Windu who gave me an odd look then we began the process of taking everyone to the Jedi Council to for a judgment of Dooku and to find out what to do about me.
Dookus trial by the council would be public then he and grievous would be judged by the senate. Yoda had given the council some of the secrets I had given him and then made me a council advisor. I had told him I had come from a different galaxy that was in the future compared to this galaxy and someone had made the events here into a famous story there. The old Jedi knew that it would be good to have me near, and how better to do so than make me an advisor to the council.
I wanted to straight up tell him what I knew but I didn't have proof of many things, however I could out Palpatine as both Dooku and Grievous knew. I carried Grievous all the way to the tower and stood beside Dooku with Grievous still in my arms. I plugged in the speaker mechanism but kept hold of it in case I needed to shut him up. Off to the side of the chamber were some clones managing a camera to record the jedis judgement of Dooku.
As the trial began Yoda waved me over and asked "Wish to speak with me you do, advisor you are, speak freely you may."
I handed him a paper I had written previously and said "I need these questions asked, if answered truthfully they should reveal some things for you. If you don't the people who are just as if not more guilty than them will get away free."
I retook my place at Grievouses side where some clones had set him in a chair. The judgement trial began and the council began arguing about what to do with Dooku. It was then that Yoda intervened and presented my questions via Windu. The first question was for Grievous and was quite simple. "General Grievous why do you hate the Jedi?" I leaned down to Grievous and whispered "Tell them the truth, it will help to reveal Palpatines secrets and will show you the truth of what happened to your people."
He then began telling the council what had happened in the war on his planet and the crimes the Jedi and republic committed there. Many of the council members tried to object to parts of his story but Windu silenced them all with a glare. I waved for Windu to continue and he asked the next question aimed towards Dooku. "What truly happened to Grievous and his planet."
I turned to Dooku and gave him the same advice I had given Grievous and he gave me a raised eyebrow. He looked back to Yoda and Windu and began the telling the truth about Grievous and how they needed a good general and warrior to lead their armies and how he was meant to be a pawn that hated the Jedi. I had to silence Grievous as he began yelling at Dooku.
After the story Windu went through a few more questions till he eventually got to the biggest one. "Why did you fall to the dark side and where or who is the other sith?" Dooku gave me a glance that I answered with a nod and he began revealing Palpatines secrets. Halfway through Dookus reveal the doors burst open and multiple clone commandos ran in, however I was prepared for something like this. I had put my armor on and gotten Anakin to help me put my plasma cannon on my left arm. On my right we put an energy shield big enough to cover me, Dooku, and Grievous. I blasted three commandos and injured a fourth then pulled my Thompson targeting the gaps in another's armor. By the time I'd wounded that one the Jedi had cut done the rest so I let the eliminate the one I had been shooting.
Windu called up some Jedi to guard the chamber and set the entire temple on high alert and we continued the trial. After around an hour the Jedi had figured out the truth and determined the fate of Dooku and Grievous. Grievous was to be given a decent cybernetic body and have damaged organs replaced. They recognized that while he had done terrible things that he was also a victim of horrific events. He was sentenced ten years in prison then life as a combat instructor for the Jedi. To me it was a weird sentence but Grievous now knowing the truth didn't seem very upset about it.
Dooku on the other hand had been given life imprisonment in the Jedi prison. He looked like he expected it so I ignored it and waited for the rest of the questioning. When the trial was over the council immediately had the temple locked down and started forming a squad to capture Palpatine. I had advised Yoda include Anakin, Obi-wan, Windu, Kit-fisto, Plo Koon, Cin Drallig, me, and himself. I had emphasized his danger and that we would need him there to protect against Palpatines dark side powers.
He sent for multiple Jedi skilled in stealth to spy on every escape route of Palpatines tower and had the military surround a massive area and shut down the planets space lanes. He then gave us a few hours to prepare so I grabbed Anakin and we got to work on my armor. We went to the maintenance area of the temple and added some armor and weapons to my power armor and we built a replacement for what I'd lost to Grievous.
Anakin seemed to have a lot of fun with my armor and like me abused the expanded space boxes. The biggest change besides fixing and improving my helmet was the jet engines he added. They functioned much like my previous ones but were more powerful and efficient. We stuffed my armor full of weapons as well, I now had three wrist rockets on each arm, multiple vibroblades, five grenade launchers, a proper missile launcher, and multiple blaster that the clones used including rotary cannons which he had a lot of fun shooting with my armor as it made it laughably easy.
After we'd prepared he wanted to spar with me so I pulled out a saber I had grabbed and we hit a training room. With my armor I was already superhuman but after my evolution I was even better, however I still struggled against Anakin who was eventually joined by Obi-wan.
