Coruscant was massive, it was the capital of the republic. It had practically anything, as long as you could find it. It had been hard but I was able to find and threaten some aliens into pointing me at some more lucrehulk class battleships. The first one I got to was easy to take, only being protected by a single destroyer and some vultures. My Niketes destroyer crippled the enemy destroyer and then brought down the lucrehulks shields. They released their vultures but my fighters easily scrapped them.
I dropped two Malleum full of clones onboard the bridge and captured the vessel and the droids within. The droids would need modifications but a few automated production lines could easily do so with thousands a day. We took the lucrehulk back to Coruscant and hooked it up and I surprisingly found Anakin and Obi-wan back from their mission.
They had dragged some ships and scrap back with them so I took it and immediately set another Niketes class destroyer to be built. While screwing around with Anakin and Obi-wan I got a report that the clone pilots wanted a dedicated heavy fighter so taking inspiration from a design most people liked I built an ARC-170 around a really big gun then gave it stronger shielding.
I had been here for a bit already so I quickly sent a letter to Yoda through Obi-wan and waited. It took about a week but Yoda finally came through and I got a delivery from the navy. Three more lucrehulks and lots of scrap ships. I had sort of threatened the invaders from outside the galaxy and I made it quite clear to him that the Jedi were the galaxies best chance against them. I'd told him they'd need massive armies and fleets to back up the Jedi to make sure they didn't get wiped out by the invaders. The force seemed to be on my side as I easily got him preparing.
Another month passed by and I had four Niketes destroyers and had completed the design for my newest warship that I hoped to finish at least one before I left. The Gloriana class Dreadnought was going to be a massive undertaking so I had already built up my infrastructure. The Niketes destroyers were small fry compared to it as the Niketes were 1500 meters while the Gloriana Dreadnought was 12000 meters.
The plan was to build a massive skeleton inside the six lucrehulks and a massive spine going through the tube of lucrehulks. It would then be made into a massive battleship. It would be I city in space with what I hoped to accomplish. It would have twelve engines and the entire hull would be covered in turbo lasers. I had already found engineers to design a hypermatter annihilator reactor based on the small amount seized by the Jedi from Palpatine.
I'd sent a mining team to the system that hypermatter was found in to begin mining btu now had been brought back as it was obviously hard to mine. The stuff came from cracked planets exposed cores, transformed into a super fuel by the stars radiation. With the reactor the entire ship could be powered easily as I wasn't aiming to made a planet destroying laser.
I had already had the skeleton being built but I could feel that it was too slow. I sped up the building by making more construction droids to have something like an army of ants. The estimated time to completion at our current rate was two months but I didn't have that long. While trying to solve the problem I suddenly found I had guests. I turned to find Anakin, Obi-wan, Windu, and Yoda standing around as Anakin snooped around my designs and my new in progress power armor.
"Greetings masters, to what do I owe the pleasure?" I said while giving Anakin a smirk. He simply rolled his eyes at me as he'd mostly gotten over the non council master stuff. Yoda wobbled forward with a smirk and snatched my design pad from Anakin with the force. "Come to see the preparations we have, wish to know what we invest in. Interesting times you have foretold, hope it is enough we must." He followed his last line with a sigh then looked at me.
I answered his unasked question "I can only hope these preparations can help. I don't remember much of the invaders but I know the Jedi will need to be ready to enter all our war against them with powerful weapons at their backs to guard them as they rest." I couldn't even remember the name of the invaders but I did remember they had ravaged the galaxy and killed uncountable people. The biggest thing I could remember was that the few Jedi of the time were practically the only thing that stood in their way.
Yoda let out a soft sigh as Windu tried to look through me with his glare. Anakin and Obi-wan we open mouthed at our words then Anakin began looking over my stuff again till he found the Gloriana Dreadnought designs. He was glaring holes through the papers and data pads as he looked at everything. I had employed thousands of engineers and architects to design this ship but I didn't doubt for a second that he'd find something wrong.
Before he could get anything out I spoke "Before you start going on about the design look over the ship purposes on data pad 13 and use the engineer team design computer to suggest changes." Again before he could speak I pointed to the data pad and then to the computer then turned to the others. A large part of the designs had been my own but most details had been the engineer team.
As I was discussing some stuff with Yoda and Windu I felt a flare of emotion. It wasn't anger, hatred, or any of the others, it felt like disappointment, disapproval, and a bit of curiosity. I immediately understood who did the flare and why. Anakin had likely gotten past my security and found some of my more secretive designs. Fortunately most of that stuff wasn't very bad but was still technically illegal. However I had one thing in there most people wouldn't like very much. I had made multiple attempts at a combat droid with an automatic disruptor rifle. They would have a tri barrel rotary cannon with a mass of ammunition store internally.
One of the things I remembered about the invaders was their biological weapons and armor. A disruptor shot could bypass the invaders defenses way better than blasters would. I'd made them as a mobile tank and suppressor that would be highly effective.
I turned to Anakin and gave him a glare that I hoped matched Windus and spoke "I know some things about the coming threats, most weapons are ineffective against them. That is why I made these." I clicked a button to activate a sliding wall that revealed all the secret designs including the droid and an automatic disruptor rifle for troop use. "Meet the Deleo MK 6, equipped with a tri barrel disruptor auto cannon. Alongside it is its little brother the Perimo MK 3 automatic disruptor rifle."
Windu glared at me and asked "What could you possibly need weapons like this for?"
"I don't need these weapons, I won't be here to need to. You all will need them, like I said most weapons are ineffective against them however disruptor rifles are effective."
Yoda then spoke to ease the tension "Use these weapons we must, only if desperate we are." Yoda began to depart so I grabbed some things from my secret arsenal. I gave a box to Anakin and gave him, Obi-wan, and Windu a massive revolver. The revolvers were reminiscent of 45-70 gov revolvers but blaster based. "Get used to the weight, you've got four shots in those. The box has more ammunition. Use them only if necessary. I fully expect at least one of you three to eventually be sent to investigate something and find the invaders scouts. You will make the correct judgement when the time comes, and if you don't many will die. The invaders care not for mercy so they will get none from us even if you are Jedi.
At my words a subtle weight descended on them as they left. That had been a bit more tiring than I had expected so I passed out on my chair after going over some designs.
