"Welcome back, captain."
- Perimedes? Where the hell are we?
"Just some island near the crater where we fought Poseidon."
-Crater? What do you mean? What the hell happened back there?
"Well, you see what happened was a little bit of this and that, probably. Not that I remember...
William and Odysseus would have a little chat about what happened earlier, including the conspiracy of the gods and the items they possessed and what it felt like to be possessed by a trident. Of course, with a couple of edits to preserve his secrets, before setting a plan forward.
[Attribute: Wanderer is guiding the way home!]
-Hm...we'll need a solid plan moving forward, based on my knowledge about the geography of Greece, and my attributes' effects, we should be relatively close to Ithaca. In fact, we should be about a day or two away by ship.
Odysseus would say while twirling his brown hair around his finger.
'That's an odd habit for a Greek King...'
'It seems even the characters have access to the Library...interesting.' Will would think to himself.
"Alright, I suppose we'll need to find a new ship first, though."
-I'll handle that, take this, and find some food, will ya?
Odysseus would toss over a compass with a pig and a stalk of wheat engraved on the back.
-Demeter's(Goddess of Harvest) relic. Helps find food, so as long as you don't repeat our past mistakes with the cyclops, we'll be fine.
In the original Odyssey, Odysseus and a few of his men stumbled into the cave of a cyclops looking for food, but sadly, most of his men got turned into food instead.
'Why does he have this.....Probably the same reason as the windbag...'
"I understand. Are you going to build a ship in the meantime? There are plenty of trees around here."
Odysseus would smile slightly for the first time in a while.
-No need, I'm going to steal one. I know this area quite well, and there should be a town with a harbor nearby. Let's meet up back here when we're done with our tasks.
William would suddenly recall, Odysseus was canonically Hermes, the God of Thieves's great-grandson. So he shouldn't have any problems with stealing. With his soul at ease, he would follow the compass's directions and set out to find some food for their journey.
Odysseus would stare at the back of William's head for a couple of seconds while he walked away before doing the same.

"Gotcha!"
[Side-Mission: Pig Pillager]
[Requirements: Hunt 10 Pigs]
[Compensation: 100 Loreld]
Loreld was the currency used by the Library, a play on words of sorts. It could be used to purchase items or up your own stats. Which William desperately needed.
'That's number ten! Whew...'
[Mission Complete]
[100 Loreld acquired!]
'Alright! Now to finally up my abysmal stats!'
'What kind of build is best for the early game...'
[Stats:]
[Strength(Physical Strength and power of physical abilities): 0 ]
[Agility(Speed and Reaction Speed): 0]
[Constitution(Defense): 0 ]
[Intelligence(Actual Intelligence and Power of all non-physical abilities): 0]
[Ingenuity(Amount of Ingenuity): 0]
Before William could decide on a build, a loud roar would come from behind him.
[New Side-Mission: Lord of the Pigs]
[Requirements: Defeat the Hog King]
[Penalty: Death]
[Compensation: 1000 Loreld]
When he turned around, it was already too late. A massive boar was two meters away from him, charging at full speed. He was a second away from being impaled.
'I guess it's been decided for me by fate.'
[100 Loreld has been invested into Agility.]
[Agility has leveled up to lv.10!]
William would quickly roll to the side, barely evading the life threatening attack by the Hog King.
With his agility enhanced, he was able to outspeed the Hog King by a bit, so he would take out a dagger from his tunic's pocket, and prepare a battle stance.
"Bring it on, Lord of Hogs. I needed some combat training anyways"
[Attribute: Calculator assists in scanning the surroundings!]
[Attribute: Reader assists in scanning the surroundings!]
Once the Hog King began his charge once more, William would make use of his attributes calculator and reader. His vision would turn into data, as he all of a sudden understood the lengths, widths, masses and much more about everything in his vision.
[You are getting closer to learning a new skill!]
Thanks to this aswell as his enhanced agility, he would find an optimal route. By running towards a nearby tree and flipping off of the side of it, he was able to soar into the air.
While upside down midair, he would pinpoint the exact location he wanted to land, the Hog King's back. Meanwhile using his [Reader] attribute to read the Hog's movements. Normally, someone with his strength stat had no hope of piercing the Hog King's thick hide. Thankfully, gravity existed, and with his speed, he was able to maximize his [Calculator] attribute, dealing a critical blow to the Hog King.
'In the end, you're nothing but a beast. You should study up on Gravitation Field strength?'
As the dagger drove into the Hog King's back without much resistance, splitting it open and causing it's guts to spill out. It was going to die soon.
[Attribute: Reader is activating!]
William could read the fear and pain in the Hog's eyes.
[Attribute: Monster attempts to take o-
[Attribute: Mistake is holding back Attribute: Monster!]
Maybe all he wanted was to avenge his fallen brethren from an unknown invader, as the strongest out of all of them, he bore responsibility for what happened to them all. And William couldn't blame him for that.
But if the situation was kill or be killed, he still had a story to write.
[You have met the requirements and obtained a new skill!]
[You have Slain 'The Lord of the Hogs'!]
[You have obtained 1000 Loreld!]
[You have obtained a new title!]
As William panted heavily, out of breath from the fight. He would stare at the screens popping up infront of him, grinning with only one thought in mind.
'Payday.'
