HARPER
I inhaled through my nose and exhaled from my mouth as another bout of nausea hit me. I grimaced, clutching my stomach with eyes wide, darting across the waiting area. I was nervous as hell, and that was understandable. It was my first time coming for a job interview.
I'd been so lucky that I was immediately employed at Helix Biotech as soon as I graduated. Owen's influence made it even better for me since I didn't need to write an application or appear in front of the interviewer. Well, I was pretty much living the nepo baby privilege and never realized how nerve-racking and challenging it was to get a job in this part of the world, especially with no connection whatsoever.
