Gabriel cleared his throat before taking slow strides to her.
"You're finally here" He said with a smirk.
"Yes it's obvious. Let go of my mum" She said and he chuckled before clapping his hands.
Two guards went to her and they both placed a gun at the sides of her head.
Taylor's heart began beating fast as she felt the cold metal on her head.
Ariel blinked looking at Taylor before looking back at Gabriel.
"Let go of my mother" She said and he chuckled.
"Are you ready to leave the school and country?" He asked and she kept quiet.
"Kill her" He said and they clicked the gun.
Taylor closed her eyes as a tear drop rolled down her closed left eye.
"Noo!! Stop!! I agree!" Ariel yelled and Gabriel smiled.
Taylor opened her eyes and a sigh of relief left her lips.
"Hold fire" Gabriel said and walked to Ariel looking around the place before smiling at Ariel.
"Sign this document and your mum will be free to go." Gabriel said taking the piece of paper from his PA and handing it to her.
"I can't sign without a pen yunno" She said and she was handed a pen by the PA.
She stared at the paper before smirking looking up at him.
"Sign it already" He said and she chuckled darkly.
The moment the chuckle left her mouth, the lights went off.
"What the....arghhhh!!!" Gabriel yelled falling to the ground.
"Ariel!!" Taylor yelled trying to break free.
The two guards weren't pointing a gun at her anymore cos they were lifeless.
The shadow went to Gabriel grabbing him by the neck.
"I told you not to hurt what's mine" The shadow said and he punched the shadow's face. The shadow turned his head back to Gabriel with a demonic smirk on his face.
He threw Gabriel and he flew towards a pile of metal. The broken metals tore his skin and a painful cry left his lips.
"Ariel!!" Taylor yelled again.
"I'm coming" Ariel said moving across the hall trying to find the light switch. She found it and she smiled switching it on.
A scream left Taylor's mouth which made Ariel turn.
"A monster" She muttered and the shadow turned to her.
She blinked staring at the red eyed demon. He was wearing pure black with his fangs in his mouth and two horns on his head. He sped to Ariel standing in front of her and she gulped.
"Stay away from my daughter!!" Taylor yelled tears welling up in her eyes.
"Who are you?" She asked and he smiled creepily.
"I am Conrad. Creature of the night, protector of my clan" He said and Ariel's eyes widened.
"Conrad?" She asked stepping back from him.
"I won't hurt you" He said and she gulped looking at Gabriel who stood up already holding a gun.
He pointed it at Conrad and shot at him.
Conrad chuckled before snapping his fingers. The bullet froze in the air when it was about to reach him and he turned before facing the bullet back at Gabriel.
"See you in hell" He grinned evilly and snapped his fingers. The bullet flew to him but he was quick to judge.
"We're so going to talk about this after now. Save my mum!" She said and he looked at her before nodding slowly.
He turned and walked slowly snapping her hands. The ropes around her hands fell and he smirked. He snapped his hands again and the ropes around her legs fell.
She stood and ran to Ariel giving her a tight hug.
"My baby" She said tightening the hug.
"Mum" Ariel muttered and broke the hug staring at the wound at the side of her lips.
"Who did it to you?" Ariel asked.
"It's okay don't worry" Taylor said and turned to the guards. A gasp left her lips when she saw them headless.
"The heck?" Taylor said and faced Ariel who scratched her head.
"Mum I'm also shocked about this demon stuff"
"But you don't looked shocked. You look calm and absolutely worry free. It's like you knew already" Taylor said and Ariel signed.
"I didn't know he was a demon. I only know that creatures like these exist and seeing another one isn't that scary" Ariel said and Taylor's eyes widened.
"Seeing another one?"
"Yes but like in movies. Paranormal romance is my favourite genre of movie" She lied and Taylor sighed a bit.
"Those creatures are dangerous" Taylor said and Ariel looked at Conrad who was holding Gabriel up by the neck. He raised his claws up and was about to stab him when...
"Conrad!!" Ariel yelled and ran towards him.
"Conrad drop him down. Don't kill him" Ariel said and he turned to her.
She blinked looking straight in his eyes.
"Why shouldn't I? I warned him before. He almost hurt you and he went after your mum which hurt you. He doesn't deserve to live" he said his eyes turning a darker shade of red and Ariel sighed.
"He does deserve to live. He only did this because of his daughters. We can't make the girls an orphan! I know how that hurts even though I have a mum but like I know how it hurts to loose your biological father and mother. I think they've lost their mother, I shouldn't be the reason why they'd loose their dad" She said and he just stared at her.
"Please Conrad, drop him down" She said and he faced forward before looking straight into his eyes.
"You'd forget what happened this evening. Taylor was saved by Ariel and you couldn't do anything cos she was with the police. You will go back to the states cos you have a serious issue to attend to" He said and Gabriel's eyes glowed red before he closed his eyes.
Conrad dropped him down on the ground before snapping his fingers. The lights switched off and after 2 minutes, the light came back on with no one in sight.
"I don't like the fact that you're friends with a demon" Taylor said and Ariel smiled.
"Mum, he can't and won't hurt me cos he's my friend so stop disliking him" She said facing Taylor.
"You're getting yourself involved with lots of things and I don't like it. We're leaving this country tomorrow" Taylor said and left the warehouse.
"What?!! Mum!!" Ariel yelled running after her.
She stopped in her front.
"Why would you do that?"
"Ever since you came to this school, you started lying to me. Problems began coming from different angles. You almost died many times and you think I'd let you keep staying here? Not a chance" Taylor said and Ariel frowned.
"I can't loose you the same way I lost Haisely. I won't be able to bear it. Please Ariel, let's leave" Taylor said and she sighed.
"Okay" Ariel said and Taylor smiled before pulling her in for a hug.
"Thank you" Taylor said and Ariel smiled sadly.

"Wow" Leonardo muttered as he looked around the room. It was so wide.
"Only you stay in this place?" He asked and Andrea who was sitting on her bed filing her nails gave him a glance before continuing what she was doing.
"Yes" She muttered and he nodded.
"Would you stop looking around and get to what you came here for?" She asked and he looked at her.
"Right" He said and went to sit on her bed at the leg side.
"Ew. Get your stinky body off my bed" She said and he stared at her for a while before choosing to ignore.
"So, our topic is Iodine. Do you have any idea on how we can perfect this?" He asked and she blew on her nails before looking at him.
"Get off my bed" Andrea said dropping the nail filer.
Leonardo inhaled and exhaled before standing up.
"So you have an idea on iodine?" He asked.
"Yes I do. I give you the ideas but you do it by yourself. I'd be your supervisor" She said and he frowned.
"I'd do all the work and you'd still get the same score as me?"
"It's not like I'm not going to do anything, I'll do something" she said and he folded his arms.
"Something like what?"
"Something like bringing the ideas and being your spectator. I'd correct you when you're wrong and I'd...."
"Enough. I'm not doing this again" He said and she blinked standing up.
"Why?"
"You're beautiful but you lack self control. You lack patience, kindness and respect. I can't work with people like you" He said and turned to go.
"We will both fail the project and I'm sure you don't want that. So why don't you get your a$$ back here and start this thing" She said and he turned his side view of his face to her.
"It won't really affect me if I fail buh I'm sure your father won't like to hear that you failed. So when you're ready to apologize and work well with me, I'd be in my room. Good day" He said and walked out of the room slamming the door.
Andrea folded her fists tightly trying not to break things in her room.

"The disrespect is beginning to get too much. Ever since Ariel stepped into the school, we are no longer feared and I hate it" Andrea said angrily.
"I'm sure Dad must have taken care of her so just rest" Alexa said and Andrea sighed.
"We've actually forgotten about our girl" Alicia said with a smirk and Andrea rose a brow.
"Our what now?"
"Our girl, Emerald" Alexa said with a smirk.
"Ohhh. She has been laying really low that we forgot totally about her. We're meeting her tomorrow, I need to lay my frustrations on someone" Andrea said and cracked her knuckles with a smirk on her face.
